Are you aware that when searching "marvel vs capcom 2 assist tier list" your video comes up first? Congratulations on that, you should consider making a more comprehensive video. With the announcement of the collection, this topic is pretty relevant right now, I would love to see a full tier list for every assist in the game, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Also, since ratio seems to be the new standard we are working toward, there is new meta to be considered.
I would love a more detailed assist video that talks about which assists are quicker and less/more vulnerable. I get popped up by psylocke but can swat iron man out before he does anything. I feel like I have trouble recognizing which assists are hard counters for situations because I dont understand the properties too well. When you started talking about how cyclops is a counter for trap teams stuff started clicking more because i started to "see" it more but in a game with an insane amount of options I find it hard to recognize why I should use certain things in certain situations. Like even a video that basically shows counters to certain assists would be great. Punishing captain commandos assist for example is making me scratch my head when I feel like it shouldnt be that hard to work around. Shit feels impossible to punish lol. I feel like anytime I go to punish it I get punished or swatted away so he can call a second cap assist. I'm not that good but damn I'm trying. Thank you for your videos my dude. This one and several others helped fill some gaps in my knowledge.
Excellet breakdown, i would also add cammy to this list...because she comes out extremely quick. She has practically zero start up, and counters psyclocke...the only thing is she knocks the opponent away, thus making her good for keep away. She is excellent combined with cable
This is a great breakdown… however… I kind of got to give you the side eye on Dr. Doom… lmao At this point, Marvel is a like an RPG… I shiver to think somebody figures out why they should use Sentinel’s launcher assist… lol
It’s definitely not as good as the top tier assists, but when I’m messing around in casuals I love using cyclops expansion assist. No defensive value at all but the combo creativity and lockdown it provides makes me feel like I can just freestyle on offense forever without losing my turn.
Yeah ken is pretty bad compared to the assists I mentioned here. You can't combo off of it and it does minimal damage. Only useful as a get off me and even then the angle isn't great compared to cap.

thoughts on rocket punch? I feel like I see that assist ran a lot

I mean, he can take a Hadoken for you haha
I like Jill and wish she was good. What assist would you reccomend with her?
Ugh her assists suck! But she is awesome on point imo. I usually pick hear heal assist.
Thoughts on war machine assist being better than iron man?
No Tron assist in the list?
Shes not that good dude lol
Bro. U kidding? Tron is huge damage.
@@77wendigo yeah, but so is Juggernaut, and you don't see him winning tournaments.
another banger thank you
Thought Ken had the best anti-air? Or that outweighed by Commando's range and Psylocke's combo potential?

Ken doesn't even have the best Shoto anti-air. His Expansion assist is significantly better.
psylocke is number 1 easily, since shes on the best team in the game ;^y
