Lol. I’m a Goldwing rider, and trust me, I have the same steamboat experience on my Goldwing. I’ve done many many miles on Harley, but it doesn’t beat the comfort of riding the Honda Goldwing. Love not having the inside of my legs roasting from that engine heat. Each person has their own tastes and I think it’s amazing how we can respect each other and ride together in spite of the differences we have in taste. Getting ready to leave in a couple weeks on a 2,500 mile round trip with my wife on vacation. Can’t wait. Whether you’re Gliding, or Winging, enjoy the ride!!!!
I own an ultra classic. The only people that claim the ultra clasic is the best touring motorcycle in the world are the ones that either haven't ridden or won't admit the the Goldwing owns that title hands down lol
I am 78. I’ve actually owned one of the first Goldwings sold in the US, a 1975 model. I’ve owned many since. I’ve owned a lot of Harleys too. Now I have a 2022 Harley Heritage Softail. To me it is what a motorcycle should look like. But looks ain’t performance. I grew up on a farm and all the butt hurt I ever had was from machinery like John Deere, International Harvester, Massey Ferguson, Allis Chalmers. Harley Davidson is the same, farm machinery. I’ve only burned my leg once and that was on a Harley. For comfort, reliability, smoothness, etc I’ll take a Goldwing every time. I hope to trade this Harley and get back on a Goldwing this spring.
❤ you comment and comparison to John Deere. After 25 years HD owning I agree. The HD“scene „ in my country Germany changed a lot. Many of those bikes are not going anywhere…. Sadly. I am owning 6 bikes this days. The 1988 GW outdated the bikes those days and is still a beauty and reliable. Mine has 50k miles and same over 200k. Never met any HD in those ranges.
Motorcycling is so ethos based. It’s a vibe. It’s culture. Like music. There is truth to “Harley selling a better motorcycling experience. But Honda builds a better motorcycle”. Like ice cream it’s good to have choices. Today’s motorcycles have never been better.
I've own a motorcycle for as long as I remember. Have owned Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, suzuki, Harley Davidson and Triumph. I was recently in the market for a Touring Bike. Test drove a Road Glide, Street Glide, and a Goldwing DCT. Now I'm the proud owner of a 2023 Honda Goldwing DCT. No regrets here, the DCT is amazing, and when you put it on Sport Mode the bike turns into a monster. But like you said on the video and everyone in here eco, hwat matters is that we ride and respect eachother. Burn Rubber, Not your Soul Baby!!!! Stay Safe!!!
Yes those pegs are stock, but yes they have floor boards you can purchase. You can also get foot pegs for the bike that attach on the body of bike perfectly. That is a nice bike!, and it is also a great experience. I have a Road Glide and a Goldwing. Live life No Limits!!
I have a Honda Goldwing and a Harley Heritage 114. They both have their strong points. I will take the Honda for longer distances and tearing up the twisties. The Harley wins when I just want to tool along and enjoy the scenery. Both bikes will do the other things, just not quite as good. I also have 5 other bikes for other riding. As long as it has two wheels it's good in my book.
Good analogy Tall. I have owned many bikes. Including a Goldwing . I decried it that the Honda is like a refrigerator. Runs forever but nobody wants to see your fridge. The H-D is like a really cool outdoor grill using wood, has a smoker etc. All your friends want to see it. That's kinda why I have a Harley now
Love your channel Tall!!! That said, I gotta chime in on the Honda Gold Wing. After years of riding Harleys, including a 2019 Street Glide Standard and a 2020 Road Glide Limited, I found myself at Americade in Lake George, NY last year and test rode the Honda Gold Wing DCT Tour. I absolutely fell in love with it. The style, the tech, the comfort, the absolute silky smoothness, and given that I live in congested Long Island NY and know a thing or two about hand cramps from clutching in bumper to bumper traffic, the idea of never having to shift again just sold me. My Gold Wing is NOT like being on the Monorail.... and it is NOT about getting to my destination. It is very much about the journey, and It is every bit of an exhilarating experience to me as being on a Harley is to you. As you stated quite correctly in your video, all that matters is being on two wheels in the wind.
That's two of us who got sold on Goldwings last year at Americade. I took my V-Twin to Lake George and test rode the GW.... I was hooked. Bought a 21 GW bagger right after I got back and love it.
I sold my ZX 14 to get a new ride at the end of the day I chose the Honda Goldwing, DCT touring the most reliable comfortable motorcycle on the open road💯
My 2019 DCT is my steamboat experience - feels like precision engineering vs ….. non-precision. Love the sound of Harley Ds for 30 seconds then - just gets old. So many Harleys out there - the sound actually gets annoying after a while. It’s nice we all have our own tastes. As for me - I pass on HD.
I loved my Shovel and its 118dB sound but that was in the 80th 90th now it is 2023. I would keep both bikes and add a BMW RT and for the fast lane a GSX R… wait, i did exactly that 😂
I’ve got a 2006 Goldwing and just bought a 2023 Anniversary Ultra Limited. I love them BOTH. They are very different machines and I enjoy each for their own unique benefits. I agree with you, just go ride. Whatever makes you happy.
I’m Harley guy at heart but just came from a 800 miles trip on my new Gold-wing and man let me tell you if you ride them you’re done , Harley stays in garage.. bdw great video !!
OK Tall , Love Your Chanel and videos. I am 65 years old and have been riding since I was ten. Started ridding Harley’s in 04 and have owned both Street Glides and Road Glides. I was out on my 2017 Road Glide and saw the new Goldwing at a local dealer here in Marietta Ga. I made the mistake of setting on one.,Bad move on my part. This particular dealer has a rental program and I was able to rent the bike for the weekend. I spent the next 3 days in the North Georgia Mountains on the Goldwing and had had to make a tough decision. Keep my Road Glide or upgrade to the new Wing. In the end the Goldwing Won. The Goldwing just has to many features to pass up for me. A Cool running 6 cylinder , Shaft driven engine. Adjustable windscreen, Automatic transmission with adjustable modes, Sport Mode, Tour Mode, and Wet Mode. And You can switch from Auto to Manual shift and You have the best of both worlds. The 2018 DCT is the best of both worlds, Long distance tour and Sport Bike combined. I still Have my 2008 Harley Night Rod Special to satisfy my Harley needs when I want to hear a little Rumble.
I own a 2015 Goldwing and a 2015 Ultra Limited. I love both bikes, but when I'm planning on riding 500 to 600 miles in a day, and some days back to back, it's the Wing all the way. Been riding Harley a lot longer than I've been on the Honda. When I decided to do the Iron Butt, taking the Honda was a no brainer. Nothing touches the comfort of the Honda and it's going to take a lot more than a 214 to keep up with my stock Wing. The truth is the truth
Tall, I had a 2010 Honda Goldwing, was an awesome Bike, traded it in for a 2022 SG and never looked back, although watching all your videos its costing me some money getting it set the way I want is well worth it. Keep gliding my man!!
I had a honda VFR800 in the past. Honda makes great bikes. I am about 6'7" and even though Goldwings are big, they are not comfortable for tall riders with long legs The engine bulge robs the bike of knee room. I have a 24 Road Glide for "gliding" and BMW s1000RR for twistie smiles. This is a great time for motorcycle enthusiasts. Lots of great bikes out!
I am a GW guy I just sold a 2021 HD Revival it had 13 miles on it when it was delivered to me and it had 13 miles on it when the new owner picked it up a year and a half later I just could not make myself ride that bike it just was not me, I get no joy out of sitting around talking about riding only when the wheels are turning, and a 1300 mile day is not a bad day for me on my GW and that was a 21.5 hour day, and if you really want to know who's who in the touring world go to a IBA rally and see which brand is represented the most.
I've had both, and at the same time, but I know this is a Harley focused broadcast, so this statement is not going to go over well. There's no comparison. The Goldwing is faster out of the box, (while only burning 87 octane) rides more smoothly (wishbone suspension) has better telematics and can out-handle a Harley all day long. Harley is into selling nostalgic technology, adding a bunch of chrome, and recycling it into the "new and improved" next year's model. Their market is more for customization and individuality. If you haven't ever ridden both a new Harley and a DCT Goldwing, sit this one out, until you do. Basically it boils down to this: Harley sells a better motorcycling experience. Honda sells a better motorcycle...
😀 Check this out. I said it's a nice bike but it's not for me. Watch my Gold Wing review from 4 years ago. th-cam.com/video/vsYncjrNHZE/w-d-xo.html Thanks for commenting and watching.
@@TravelingTall my apologies Tall. After re-reading my comment, it looks like I was directing it at you, which I was not. I was trying to get ahead of the anticipated hate that I was going to get for what I said, from the Harley community, which I am still a member of to this day. It's just that if you're comparing bikes, it stacks up differently than a lot of your viewers would want it to go. I have nothing but respect for you Brother, and your work, and I love what you do.👍🏾👍🏾
Well said, Tall. Great metaphor. I traded a '19 Goldwing for a '22 Road Glide Limited. There are trade-offs, but the sitting position and vibe on the Harley are why we traded.
Can you tell me more about this? I have a 22’ Goldwing DCT and it is a perfect bike but something leaves me wanting a more engaged ride. I’m contemplating on the 23’ Road Glide Limited
I traded my 18 GW for a 21 RGS…no regrets. I must say that GW was a smooth operator though. It just doesn’t have the cool muscle factor I get out of my cammed RGS.
Tall enjoy your videos, you’re very respectful, as you said different strokes for different folks. I’ve had a Goldwing, Yamaha, Kawasaki, two other Hondas. I’m riding a Victory Vision now, and enjoying this thing. I’m a big guy just never seem to be able to get comfortable on a Harley. Looking at buying a Indian Challenger Limited. Whatever you’re riding just hope you giving the Lord the glory. Keep up your excellent content. 👍🏾🙏
I was comparing this model to buy and my RKS , nearly two years ago. Totally agree with you , a HD makes you feel young again , but Honda makes a better product, with no need to spend anything on mods as its all done from factory , making it better value as well.
I have a 1986 goldwing. Retro looks, carbs and choke which needs adjusting in the early stages of the ride. Gearbox is a bit clunky when cold. It has personality and gives a little attitude. It’s pretty rare to see anyone else on on one because of its age. It has history in every switch and pull of the clutch. It is also an experience.
He’s about to have buyers remorse. 😂😂Harley can’t touch a goldwing as far as seat comfort , vibration , buffering., wind noise , air ride etc. Harley has a bumpier ride , more wind buffeting etc. it’s just a different ( rougher) ride.
I agree that the Wing keeps you from having a more visceral experience. But if I wanted to be more insulated from discomfort, I'd take my car. One big reason I got a Road King is to be able to remove the windshield and feel wind when wanting to get back to a basic raw experience. Motorcycling is a very sensual experience...it stimulates all the senses. Harley, because of their looks, sound, and feel, and the way they perform, provide a unique mechanical presence that appeals to many. Some want less noise and more smoothness, that's OK too! 👍
I bought a 2018 Goldwing that same color. After 8 months I traded it in for my 21 Road Glide. The wing was great, but I feel what you saying about the steamboat and the monorail experience. Those are the exact words to describe the difference between the two. I liked my Goldwing, but I love my Road Glide.
I'm blessed to have a 2023 Indian Springfield classic and a 2024 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT in my garage. If I need the feel of a V twin, I get on the Springfield. If I just want comfort, quiet and the smooth feeling of the best touring bike, I get on the GW. I never even considered a Harley until I saw then new 2024 models. However, they still lack the suspension and features of some of the other bikes but they are moving in the right direction. Bottom line is I'm not brand loyal. It's my money and I buy what I like. Love your videos and how you present them. Ride safe
I believe everyone should ride what they like and what is comfortable. To me Goldwings are ugly, to others my FLTHK is ugly, doesn't bother me. I also think that the RoadGlide is the most beautiful bike from the front and side, but when I'm riding it, it's ugly from the saddle. Just my opinion, I love seeing everyone in the wind and Happy on whatever they ride. I wave at them all. Have fun and stay safe!
Good video but you didn't do the goldwing justice, while your pushing your Harley to back up, the Goldwing has reverse, the Goldwing also has a double wishbone front suspension, navigation, am/fm/Sirius radio, 4 different ride settings, Bluetooth communications, touchscreen and manual display on handle bars ,plus keyless start. If you get the chance test ride one ,it is responsive with great balance with a low center of gravity, 1832cc boxer fuel injected engine smooth ,quiet, you can ride all day. Iron but ride is a piece of cake on a Goldwing . I have a Goldwing bike and just bought a trike and wouldn't want any other bike/trike. I just wanted to give the Goldwing a fair shake. What ever you ride get out and get some wind therapy and be safe. Riding season is here.
Agree with everything you say, however when you do a lot pf distance work, what was an “experience” thing can became a perpetual “annoyance” thing. On short runs yes, it may be fun, but when you’re doing a lot of road work, the comfort really makes a difference. I noticed when I was doing a lot of distance you’d see HD’s but most of the time they were just locals. That’s the difference. Both types are great. Right tool for the right job, right ?
I like your videos Tall… I love all motorcycles , I ride this same bike but a Manual transmission 2023. I love the sport touring look and feel of a sporty big tourer with all the reliability of the Honda brand. That being said, I think Harleys are beautiful, reliable bikes too and hope someday to own one but I really love the GW with the manual transmission. Smooth and torque all through the rev range. Thanks for the entertainment 🤓👍🏍️
I rode my 2008 Goldwing 80,000 miles.. I got an itch and traded for an Indian Roadmaster. The Indian was a tremendous machine.. but I barely had 10k miles when I traded it.. for a 2018 Goldwing.
lol, reminds me of the old Ford vs Chevy fights….most of the GW haters haven’t rode nor know anything about them. As for me, my hutt hasn’t experienced HD either. But when I consider an air cooled noise machine shaking my teeth out, it’s an easy choice. Every time I see guys on their HDs, they all look pissed, they never appear to be enjoying the ride. I had a guy the other day get off his street glide and come over to me at the gas pump and asked me about the “walking fwd, and bkwd” function; he was complaining that his HD doesn’t have that. I just shrugged and said but it’s loud, and we laughed, great thing abt being American, choice! You can choose whatever u want. As for the DCT, I don’t do burnouts or wheelys so the anti is fine by me. The manual shift levers are pretty cool too. Oh, the Apple CarPlay is awesome too.
I had several Harley's over the years. I've been riding for over 30. I purchased a new DCT tour and love it. Might pickup a Springer to run local. But, for long runs it's the Goldwing. Tall should ride a GL tour you never know???😁
Honda Goldwing is a great bike. Low maintenance with all the the bells and whistles. Definitely the "Cadillac" of tour bikes. Harley has good looking bikes and a strong community, however their bikes are always in the shop.
After 25 years HD I guess….. he may regret the trade sooner or later. But it is always good to make the experience. I would keep them both 😊 The monorail comparison ist great. 😂
Ok, Tall.... Different Strokes for Different Folks... H-D ain't for everybody & that's OK. Only speaking for myself, I've never owned a Harley, never wanted to own a Harley.... Rode metrics for 30+ years, 4 Suzukis. (Intruders) 2 Kawasaki (Nomad 1500 & 1600), that last one I put a Hoppe batwing fairing on it & rode it to Sturgis & back, Twice & now I'm on the Indian Roadmaster.. Does that make me a bad person? Was I not accepted by my fellow riders, where I live? No, I've been very happy & thankful for my "2 wheel" life. It's all good & I'll keep watching......
I know ya gotta push Custom Dynamics , but the Harley led turn signals are awesome . I put them on my last two bikes. But that brother got a beautiful bike !!
The Harley Davidson has a visceral quality for sure but its no Goldwing on the open road. The Monorail / Steamboat analogy was very apropos. One is dated, cumbersome and slow the other contemporary , smooth and efficient. The typical outing on the Harley is a small fraction, distance wise, compared to the Wings . They occupy very different lanes for very good reason.
Owner 3 Goldwing's before I started riding CVO Harleys. Great bikes but, you can refine something to the point that it becomes boring. That's where I was with the Wing... AS you guys said, as long as your riding and happy that's all that counts... Also, slow speed maneuvering with that DCT is not a pleasure...
Nor recommended by Honda themselves. Many are burning out their clutch packs in the dct versions doing slow speed maneuvers. Honda may warranty the first one but they tell you they won't warranty it again if you perform these maneuvers. To me, they should be up front when someone is looking to buy one and make sure they understand the dct won't hold up to that.
My buddy I ride with has a 2020 Goldwing DCT and it's terrible to ride.I kept looking to shift gears but no clutch lever or foot shifter.I just had to get off it and back on my 2021 Ultra limited.
I ride an Indian Springfield. Have laid many miles on her and as pleased as a rider can be. Like you described, love the look and the feel while riding. BUT, I’m considering a Goldwing as bike #2. I love it’s quiet exhaust, wind protection and the reduced, sport-touring cockpit. As I’ve described in my own TH-cam review, it’s not the most invigorating ride around town, but it is a great touring bike! That said, I won’t trade my Indian! - love your work-enjoy your videos - **consider coming over to Nashville and Let’s get you on an Indian for a ride! Or sell me on a Harley…Make for some fun content! God bless -ride safe
The last great wing was the 2016 model, large storage better feel. When I get tired of shifting I get in my car. I also have the best Harley ultra classic, pre Milwaukee 8!
@@xtreme4stringbass Smoother?,....so a V-twin is smoother than a boxer 6, not so. The Wing has a superior suspension and frame and lower COG over the Ultra,....Wing wins handling. Harley has no tech except the screen in front of you.
Tall love the channel and the videos, and almost bought a Harley Road Glide ST 2023 today, but I ended up getting the Indian Challenger Dark Horse instead, a few features helped make that happen, the Central Locking, the electric windshield, and the suspension of the Dark Horse. Will continue to enjoy your transformation of the Road Glide because you have inspired me to buy Khrome Werks Exhaust and Custom Dynamics bag lights. So thank you.
Wish you would have been able to test drive it just to see how it feels. I have only had harleys and all my friends are harley only but I see the goldwings putting tons of miles and running well for years...your opinion after riding would have been interesting tho
I've got a 2023 Goldwing DCT and the lack of floor boards is about the only complaint I have about the bike. I don't understand why Honda put pegs on a touring bike. BTW, by changing from manual to automatic, Honda was able to shave 150 pounds off the weight of their motorcycles. My DCT has a curb weight of 804 pounds.
Love your videos! As far as the Goldwing is concerned, I wish you would have ridden it. I built Goldwings when they were built in Ohio. So, if you get an opportunity ride one.
The only bad thing I’ve heard about the DCT transmission on the Goldwing is people are burning out the clutch during low speed maneuvering & slow speed police style courses .
Roadglide,....so you viewed 1 person on TH-cam and now people are burning clutches? Well, its only 1 person and I cannot find anyone else. The bikes been out 4 years and only 1 person, that's pretty darn great!
I just tried a 2023 Street Bob 117 and did not care for the throttle response and engine character of the M8..yuk. Are the touring models engine any different? The engine does not rev smoothly and quickly. This was a little rough and sounded bad.
Check this out. th-cam.com/video/vsYncjrNHZE/w-d-xo.html I rode it, it's a nice bike but I prefer more Harleys. I can understand why people like them, but it's not for me.
Dct dual clutch transmission..its like an automatic but its not. The reason for no floorboards is because of the riding position. Ill disagree the ride on the goldwing is different and very enjoyable, sport mode on this bike feels like your on a sports bike. I have both and like both equally.
Comparing a Harley to a Goldwing is really an apples and oranges comparison. The Goldwing has a liquid cooled flat six and a wishbone front suspension. The Harley has an air-cooled V-Twin with a conventional front end. About the only thing they have in common is the number of wheels and they're both built in America. I dare say they're not even built for the same purpose, lol!
A fool and his money are easily parted they say. Just so you know, the GW doesn’t have floor boards at the front so it can corner more aggressively. No way I would make that trade..lol. He will regret it put probably never admit it.
Lol. I’m a Goldwing rider, and trust me, I have the same steamboat experience on my Goldwing. I’ve done many many miles on Harley, but it doesn’t beat the comfort of riding the Honda Goldwing. Well said.
Facts !
DCT is awesome. It is just like driving an automatic car instead of a manual. You can focus more on your ride and your surroundings than shifting.

I have a 24 Road Glide for "gliding" and BMW s1000RR for twistie smiles. This is a great time for motorcycle enthusiasts. Lots of great bikes out!
Just my opinion! I could never get rid of my African twin dct, or my Goldwing dct, for a Harley, are you kidding me.
I would love for you to test ride a Harley-Davidson Pan America.
I'll stick with my Steet Glide. But there is someone that will buy it. That's for sure. Oh, the Disney analogy was a good one. #keepgliding
Basically it boils down to this:
Harley sells a better motorcycling experience.
Honda sells a better motorcycle...
😀 Check this out. I said it's a nice bike but it's not for me. Watch my Gold Wing review from 4 years ago. th-cam.com/video/vsYncjrNHZE/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for commenting and watching.
I have nothing but respect for you Brother, and your work, and I love what you do.👍🏾👍🏾
Harleys are beautiful bikes, and I have owned a few, but for long distance (not on a trailer 😂 jk). It’s gotta be a Goldwing. Keep up the good work.
Tall, you are such a positive person who just brings light and joy wherever you go. Keep keeping on man!
For mileage a goldwing is hands down the best, the g.o.a.t. For looks a harley is the way to go
Acura Goldwing . I like the idea of the DCT. Opens up riding to a different dynamic of people. Difference strokes for different folks.
Harleys are great bikes to buy if you want people to look and notice you. Get the goldwing though if you want to make it to your destinations.
I traded my 18 GW for a 21 RGS…no regrets. I must say that GW was a smooth operator though. It just doesn’t have the cool muscle factor I get out of my cammed RGS.
I agree the limitations on the gw are the performance add ons
Watching your videos have inspired me to buy my first Street Glide! Going from a Sportster to a Street Glide! Love it!
He wants to try harley's new technology coming from a goldwing dct... 🤣🤣🤣..
He’s about to have buyers remorse. 😂😂Harley can’t touch a goldwing as far as seat comfort , vibration , buffering., wind noise , air ride etc. Harley has a bumpier ride , more wind buffeting etc. it’s just a different ( rougher) ride.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Goldwings Are Very Nice Bikes But Harley Does It For Me As Well.
Goldwing. Best bike I’ve ever owned.
Ride safe
I would ride it on those days I feel lazy. But right now, I love my Road King
Awesome choice!! I love the one I bought there just over a year ago. Enjoy and congrats.
After owning a 2020, Wing, DCT, since new, I will never even try to ride an HD. The best touring bike on the planet, hands down.
He picked a great bike
Thanks for the entertainment
🤓👍🏍️
All the newer Goldwing looks like a sport bike.
Why didn't you test ride it...?
Honda fast, 6 cylinder Porsche sound can be music
He’ll be sorry.
I rode my 2008 Goldwing 80,000 miles.. I got an itch and traded for an Indian Roadmaster. The Indian was a tremendous machine.. but I barely had 10k miles when I traded it.. for a 2018 Goldwing.
That is a beautiful Gold wing. I can see myself riding That.🏍💨💨
You will never want to come off, trust me.
lol, reminds me of the old Ford vs Chevy fights….most of the GW haters haven’t rode nor know anything about them.
Tall should ride a GL tour you never know???😁
Yeah, give me your opinion about a competitors bike. He is selling Harley's. Guess what he is going to say.
Honda Goldwing is a great bike. Low maintenance with all the the bells and whistles. Definitely the "Cadillac" of tour bikes. Harley has good looking bikes and a strong community, however their bikes are always in the shop.
I loved the smile when he got his Glide. He made the right move.
That's why I own Harley, Indian, Goldwing, Vulcan, Husky, BMW... they all feel different and its the feel and looks.
(Intruders) 2
Kawasaki (Nomad 1500 & 1600), that last one I put a Hoppe batwing fairing on it & rode it to Sturgis & back, Twice & now I'm on the Indian Roadmaster..
Does that make me a bad person?
Was I not accepted by my fellow riders, where I live?
No, I've been very happy & thankful for my "2 wheel" life. It's all good & I'll keep watching......
th-cam.com/video/S3Mqo9YVI6A/w-d-xo.html
I know ya gotta push Custom Dynamics , but the Harley led turn signals are awesome . I put them on my last two bikes. But that brother got a beautiful bike !!
blipping the throttle will get you instant regret on the automatic, a hard habit to break.
Glad there's another Harley owner out there.
Yes I agree with you tall. Kind of like driving a Tesla or a 69 Camaro. I'll take the Camaro! Until then I'll stay with my road glide limited 😮
Great Analogy... Great Example!!! I'm Gonna Use That One.
I have a Harley I hope to own 2 one day and 1 of them goldwings 😎
If am going slow maneuvering around corners or sharp u-turns I would switch to manual mode...
Nice review keep up the good work traveling tall
I love that cool Let's Roll logo on your shirt! 😄
He'll be regretting that shortly 😂
My buddy I ride with has a 2020 Goldwing DCT and it's terrible to ride.I kept looking to shift gears but no clutch lever or foot shifter.I just had to get off it and back on my 2021 Ultra limited.
Riding for 55 years owned 24 motorcycles over 350.00 miles nothing compares. to a wing !
I bought a 2022 softail for around town and will be buying the new 2024 Honda Golgwing for long haul.
I am a gold wing rider I like what you're saying and that you did not put the gold wing down it's just something that you didn't like to ride
th-cam.com/video/vsYncjrNHZE/w-d-xo.html
HE will be going back to the GW once he start spending money on the Harley
It's a nice bike. I said that when I test rode it years ago. th-cam.com/video/vsYncjrNHZE/w-d-xo.html
Tall's new catch phrase, All Glides are better then old wings.
I have a DCT Goldwing as well as a RoadGlide special best of both worlds
I've got a 2023 Goldwing DCT and the lack of floor boards is about the only complaint I have about the bike. I don't understand why Honda put pegs on a touring bike.
BTW, by changing from manual to automatic, Honda was able to shave 150 pounds off the weight of their motorcycles. My DCT has a curb weight of 804 pounds.
The DCT puts a smile on my face every time I twist the throttle !
Hes trading in a Lincoln town car so. He Can ride around on a riding tractor?
Love your videos! As far as the Goldwing is concerned, I wish you would have ridden it. I built Goldwings when they were built in Ohio. So, if you get an opportunity ride one.
Love your videos, tall keep making them my friend
I love the goldwings ! I had a 1985 would love to own the newer ones !
He messed up getting rid of that Goldwing😢
The only bad thing I’ve heard about the DCT transmission on the Goldwing is people are burning out the clutch during low speed maneuvering & slow speed police style courses .
Only 1 person has burnt the clutch
Not true. That happened to one rider. Thousands do slow speed riding with no problems.
Roadglide,....so you viewed 1 person on TH-cam and now people are burning clutches? Well, its only 1 person and I cannot find anyone else. The bikes been out 4 years and only 1 person, that's pretty darn great!
So if you like riding your bike in the parking lot Harley wins
I just tried a 2023 Street Bob 117 and did not care for the throttle response and engine character of the M8..yuk. Are the touring models engine any different? The engine does not rev smoothly and quickly. This was a little rough and sounded bad.
I'll take the GW, please and thank u, the manual or DCT.👍🏽😊
I think you need to make a video riding the GoldWing!
Check this out. th-cam.com/video/vsYncjrNHZE/w-d-xo.html
I rode it, it's a nice bike but I prefer more Harleys. I can understand why people like them, but it's not for me.
@@TravelingTallNot For Me Either... I'm 6'5" And Feel Cramped On The Wing.
Dct dual clutch transmission..its like an automatic but its not.
The reason for no floorboards is because of the riding position.
Ill disagree the ride on the goldwing is different and very enjoyable, sport mode on this bike feels like your on a sports bike.
I have both and like both equally.
th-cam.com/video/vsYncjrNHZE/w-d-xo.html
Loved this video. Hey Detroit in the house!
Best Decision He Ever Made 💯
Good video. Very entertaining. Dynamic dude.
