After little over 2 years since wreck took my road king, I am finally back on 2 wheels on a 2023 street glide! I have to admit, I took a break from your content because not being able to ride was hard, but I’m glad to see where you’ve taken your channel and look forward to seeing more from you! God bless you and your family.
2022 Street Glide Special. 6.5" Klock Werks Windshield. I'm glad I saw this video. I've been noticing it at higher speeds on the interstate. 80-100 mph. Sometimes at lower speeds if it's windy. I figured it was the fairing design, since my other Street Glide is a 2011 before the Rushmore vented fairing and it has the factory windshield. I noticed I get more wind buffeting with this newer bike as well. I've never had those issues with the older bike. I looked it over and had the dealer do this as well. Neither of us could find any issues. This newer bike can get downright scary when coming up from behind and passing large vehicles on the interstate. I got a great deal on this new to me 2022 and immediately realized the factory 4" was too short. I figured I'd try the Klock Werks shield. It looked cool and claimed the flip up works like a taller shield and you can see over it well. I only put 100 miles on the factory shield before swapping, so I think I will try to reinstall the factory shield and see if that makes a difference. Rode the 2022 Street Glide to Sturgis this year and the 300+ miles from Sioux Falls to Rapid City was brutal. I've been riding most of my life. It was some the worst crosswinds I'd ever rode through and with all the travel trailers and tractor trailers on the highway, that wobble was real and scary. On another note...I watch your videos quite a bit and keep up the great content.
I’m glad you figured out the issue with your street glide wobble. I can see that being the case because when I had my K-12 hundred GT and my ST 1300 if my windshield was in the tall position, I could feel the trucks in front of me a lot more. And even with the road Kings, the police bike with a taller windshield is affected more and actually can get a little bit of wobble that slightly lower windshield doesn’t seem to be affected by
I am thankful for your discovery. I installed cheap 7" Amazon windshield and noticed a wobble at speeds above 80mph. I was thinking my forks need service or the tires needed balancing . Your discovery adds up and I thank you.
I have a 2019 street glide with a KW 10.5 in windshield, with Ohlins suspension, and I stand 6'1" @250 lbs. I don't have any wobbling issues. Additionally, around 70 mph, the wind pushes the front end down. Preventing the wobble effect at any speed. I recommend trying different sizes for the KW windshield. Thank you for sharing your experience, I have learned a lot from you.
Ive noticed on my 99 FLHRCI with the stock windscreen with no faring it will get a slight wobble at 80mph and above especially on decel. Without windscreen there is virtually no wobble. Almost bought $500 TruTrack device thinking the wobble was created by more serious condition until I watched this video. Funny how major problems are more often than not created by a very simple issue. Thank you very much for this video, it was very insightful and saved me from going down that 'tank slapper' rabbit hole and throwing $$$ out the window.
Back in 1995, doing over 85 miles an hour, my 1995 FLSTN went into a wobble. I did have a windshield on the bike! Harley Dealer found nothing wrong with the bike, so I would have to assume that it was the windshield that made the wobble! TY for the video, eased my mind about the 95 Nostalgia
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I have the same brand on my 2020 RGS and I get that wobble at high speeds. Going through a curve and getting the wobble is SCARY.
Glad you (or should I say the builder) found the issue for your setup--and that is the key. Both aerodynamics and chassis dynamics affect high speed stability. Your height and weight are significant factors as well compared to other riders'. Choosing a proper windshield (or not) is critical for safety...not just looks and wind protection, whether racing or touring. Your body's shape contribution to drag/buffeting/instability is also a factor...for everyone. I worked in the MIT Wright Brothers wind tunnel while a student, and I drag (and road) raced back in the 60's at significantly lower power and speed levels than you. I won 15/16 class races running a 305/350 highly modified Honda (with fairing, roller cams, overbore, etc) and then a Bridgestone 350 GTR (with a lot of trick rotary valve, CDI, and stinger mods). Since both were highly modified, I was stuck in the unlimited modified street bike class (750 cc+) (literally street legal). Not only were my eye/hand/foot reactions a significant factor (I could "see" that last yellow light dim before becoming the next green/red light), but I did everything to balance the chassis and constantly evaluated every contribution to aerodynamic stability for the high end of the runs. I am always amazed by what you can do and communicate to the motorcycle community. Thanks.
I have a 16 Road Glide with a high hp built motor and my wobble starts @ about 80mph thru 125-130mph. I run a klock werks 6" and I've been running out of things to check as the cause so I'm very glad you made this video, I'll be taking of the windshield and running my bike hopefully that fixes the problem. Thank you so much and keep up the good work love your content.
I just bought a 2021 Street glide a month ago, I've had it to about 98 mph with no wobble issues. I also have a 2010 Street Glide (bought in 2013) that I've had no wobble issues up to 100 mph several times. I run the Freedom Shields 6 inch shield on both. I don't make a habit of riding over 85 mph on the highways, at 70 years old, I find my reactions times have slowed a bit so I ride a little slower now. I've been very happy with this windshield, which is why it's on both bikes.
Haven't found many others that run the Freedom Shields. I have the 7" on my 14 SGS. I've had it on the bike since about 200 miles on the bike, now at 46k. My wobble just started recently, so I'm sure it's not the windshield on mine.
Glad you got that wobble figured out. I remember seeing you at cecil county dragway and you told me about it then, may have been one of the first times it happened? You thought it was the front wheel then. Glad it's something less expensive. I have the memphis shades I believe 8 inch windshield on my 22 street glide st, and have not wobble problems. Always feels planted at any speed.
From the comments, it seems that some of the aftermarket windshields on the batwing causes a wobble, but not so much on the RG. I have a 14" KW Sport Flare on my 21 RG and at high speeds, (over 105) it moves around a small bit. Enough to make me get out of it. It kind of makes sense that the wind pushing against it will cause some distortion in how the bike handles at high speeds. Gonna put the stock on and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for making this vid Tall.
I’ve got a factory windshield on my 23 Ulta. I got it up to 100 mph today. There was no wobble at all. I got up to 100 mph twice and still no wobble. The bike has 4500 miles on it so far.
I just bought a heritage classic. A high snap-on windshield was included. I was happy to have a windshield, and I still am. I am new to the big bike, so I am not too concerned about the wobbling, but I have not recorded how bad it is on the highway at about 80 mph. Since I saw this video, it makes sense. I'm a longtime rider, so I can agree that the windshield is causing the wobbling. So, I will consider the situation from now on when I ride. Thanks
Thanks for the Video, 2016 SG 103 ci Stage 1 been running a 6.5 KW and never had a wobble in open wind till I get over 100 mph, not every time but I am not running straight flat roads most of the time so road conditions could play a part, I notice it tends to be worse if I am in corner at 100 mph then when in a straight. Take care!
I would also slightly tighten the neck bearing and try with the windshield again. Kruesi mentions this all the time being a problem for causing that and it solved the problem for me with a kw shield still on it.
Good stuff Tall. I have the 4” KW shield and I get the wobble around 105 to 120. For me it depends on conditions I noticed. One time it got so bad during decel that the only way to not crash was to get back in the throttle and decel gradually again. I also have a 21 on the front 18 rear. Legends front and back.
Man this is awesome. 1: that bike hooks and moves!!!!! 2: glad you solved it and so always wondered with those windshields that have that like flare upwards. They good though lol
I have a 23 street glide special and i get the wobble or that’s what i think it is. The bike is hard to hold on to the bars at around 80 -85 mph. I thought it was what others call buffering but I believe its the same. I changed the factory windshield out with in the first few days so I never had the bike to those speeds before putting on the Klock works 8” with the curl. I am going to put the factory windshield back on and test this myself. My buddy has a 23 street glide also and he said he has never had this issue and he has always had the factory windshield. I am anxious to find out. I will have to deal with the wind on my helmet but that will be better than the bike being hard to hold on to. Thanks! I love your content! It has always been so helpful and informative.
Man my 2018 SG was doing the same thing at high speed decel and on long slow curves. I changed out my front suspension to Legends and it has since stopped but this is an awesome theory on the windshield. Mine was swapped from the 4" stock to 8".
I have a 2022 Flhxse. I put the same klockwerkz 5” on mine 2 months ago. My first time over 80 mph in a big sweeping turn I experienced the wobble. I’ll put the stock back on and report back on the next warm day.
That's crazy 🤔🤯 I had a 14 Street glide I love that bike but one problem it had a high speed wobble I tried everything except changing my windshield I had an aftermarket windshield 😳 that had the lip on it to push the wind up and over me 🤯
I put new tires on my 2003 Road King. Had the high speed wobble the first time I hit the Interstate at 70 mph. I took it to local independent shop they put grease in the neck, no change. I called Dunlop engineer. He gave me a list of things to check. First thing was air pressure. Tires had just been installed so pressure had to be good. I went down the list. I finally checked air pressure. It was low on rear tire. I corrected the pressure, hit the Interstate 100+ no wobble! I tell everyone check air pressure first!
I experienced a very bad high-speed wobble on my 2005 Ultra at 105mph when I tested it out after some modifications. Interestingly, I had cut the windshield down on that bike. My 2015 Ultra had no wobble whatsoever at 115, stock windshield and performance rear shocks. I changed out the front end on the 2005 with some performance suspension parts and it cured the wobble.
I have the wobble for sure and also have KW shields. With my 5” shield I get the wobble at 95mph. Now that you mention it though with my 6.5” shield it came in about 105. I never thought it was the windshield until I watched this video. I just put full suspension on at MB rally hoping it would solve the issue and it did not. Ugh! I also have a zippers 128 kit in my street glide.
@@TravelingTall I’m not sure if it’s the height or the different shape of the windshield. Both were KW shields but the 5” just has the flip at the top while the 6.5 has a flip and curve. Not sure if that made a difference or not but I’ll be taking it all the way off this weekend to see if the wobble goes away. I went with JRI suspension fry & rear. (frt cartridge kit & 13” rear w/reservoirs.
I gotta 22 CVO Road with the Klock 9 inch and no problems at speed. Klockweks outa Michtell SD do some good werk. Might not be as good as Zippers in Maryland, but still real good, if not absolute GREATNESS!
Man, this is crazy. I have a built 08 road glide that has seen 130 to 140 on the streets and constantly sees 75 to 100 plus on back roads and has never gotten any wobbles. Could be my suspension set and mount set up. I ride my bike pretty hard. I couldn’t imagine having that much power and not being able to use it on the streets.
I have a 2017 Road Glide, having two windshields in use: the factory version and a 12'' Wind Splitter which I put on on longer rides. The bike is also equipped with a Wilbers suspension. Tyres are Metzeler Cruisetec. Riding on the Autobahn (I live in Germany), I often do 100 mph and more, even with pillion and full luggage. I did not notice any wobbling at any time, neither with the low ws nor the higher one. Y'all ride safe!
I can see where the windshield can move the front end around specially a batwing fairing, I get a little wobble on my bike at high speeds every now and then, good vid never really thought about the fairing being pushed around by the wind with a windshield. I recently took my front tire off and checked my bearings and tire for balance which was all good thanks 👍🏽👍🏽
Almost crashed due to the same wobble. 6" Klockworks windshield. I never thought that was the cause !! Putting the stock back on ASAP !! $230 for it plus $250 for dipping and candy painted orange
I experienced the wobble on my 131 CI 2020 Ultra Limited at similar speeds, and was able to eliminated it with True Track Touring Stabilizer and Alloy Art Swing-arm Bushings. I am using a 10 inch H-D wind splitter windscreen.
thanks so much for this, i got the same 80-85 wobble on my 19 Fatboy and i have a tool bag up around the handle bars, probably is that disturbing the airflow! i'll take it off and try.
I have a '92 FLHS, they had a Road King style windshield. I put a batwing from a '95 on it with the standard windshield. First trip down the highway it wobbled bad. I cut 3 inches off it just to get more air, thinking I'll get to the wobble later in the week. Next trip to town the wobble wasn't as bad. First thing I did when I got home is cut another 3 inches off and polished the edges and the wobble was gone. Surprised me, I assumed I had another problem.
I have a 2013 street glide with 6.5" klock werks. I get it a little but if I stay under 85 it seems fine. I also have the wind deflectors on the bottom of the fairing, I thought it was those doing it but now I'm thinking differently. Thanks. I'll do some testing.
I have freedom shields for mine. It doesn’t have the drastic recurve that KW has and is also thicker than the stock and KW windshields with perfect clarity
2023 SGS with a KW 4". Just had a 131 kit put on. I had felt a little wobble now and then. But coming from street bikes I am kind of used to the front end moving around a little.
This is just a note from what we called. Tank slappers in the 70s. I would dare say anytime you get a wobble or tank slapper. It is only caused by what is called harmonic vibrations. Of the same frequency meeting. At the same time under acceleration or de- acceleration. The front fork angle rakes in and the angle becomes less. If you think about it the windshield is putting pressure on the front end. Which pushes the forks in which decreases the rake angle. These two circumstances tag together with raking the forks in and you got problems.
Sorry this is an edit. Only under the de-acceleration does the forks rake in you can get a tank slapper. These can happen under acceleration or acceleration. But for sure under the de- acceleration it becomes drastically more dangerous.
I thought this was going to be a fork brace install video based on the title! Curious if your tech is suggesting either a smaller or larger windshield, interesting stuff.
Usually wobble comes from something not being balanced correctly. (Improper installs are a common enough scenario) I'm aware that that too much input to the front tire can cause that as well.
Makes perfect since that the windshield would cause a wobble. It can change the up or down force on the front end and can create vortexes that can change the intended airflow over the fairing. I've been running a 7 inch HD Wind Splitter on my 2011 SG for 10 years and I've never had a wobble at high speed.
😊Tall: great video. The only time I ever had a high speed wobble was on my 2004 ultra at 85-90 mph with a stock windshield; happened twice on a road trip. Current bike is a 20 SGS 114 with just cobra nh pipes and a 8” freedom shield windshield. Been at 100-105 with no wobble; bike has 14,000 miles. I wonder if you might get several different makes and heights of shields and see if one of your sponsors could arrange for some wind tunnel testing with the smoke to see what the results show. Just a thought.
I have a ‘23 street glide. It has that same wobble at 105-110. Gets worse the faster you go. It’s done it since the day I bought the bike. I have the 4” Memphis Shades windshield now. Seems to be a bit better than the stock one.
I can’t run without a windshield, but I’d love to get rid of that wobble. It’s got so much more to give. If you find a windshield that works please let us know
I have the exact same problem! 2021 FLHTK running a built 131, 166hp. I installed both True-Track frame braces, $1000. No luck, swapped tires nope. Swapping windshields, was using the Klock Werks Flare 8.5 and 10.5 shields. Very flimsy and they flutter at high speed. I switched to the 11.4 Freedom shield, 30% thicker than stock. This thing has no flex, it is better but at 100+ it still feels skittish. I hate that. Let me add Ohlins rear shocks and front springs, new HD tires, best of everything, ridiculous.
2023 Heritage Classic. Reckless batwing fairing. High speed wobble due to a misaligned fairing bracket. Fixed and buffetting helmet at 50 mph plus. Changed to a harley 5 1/2" shaped shield. No wobble but still buffetting. Bought some fork fangs to try to reduce buffetting. Update pending.
Have full suspension on my 22 street glide special, stock windshield and kst bars, cruise tec tires, been getting the wobble since stock from 70 up, since the missing link install it gotten alittle better, now it 80 and up, my 19 didnt have any wobble at all but im kinda worried to even ride with the girlfriend at times, going to have the straight shooter on it to see if any defects from harley are there or if bad head bearing or bad swing arm, frame twisted or anything from shipping the bike
2014 street glide special 110 tire shredder kit Barnet reduced tooth comp. I think it is Klock works windshield 2” taller than stock. Interstate wide open Wobble at 125+mph I haven’t been over 100mph since. Scary fast for wobble.
Thanks riding tall. This was fascinating. Do you think this wobble was more prominent because the street glide and it’s fairing is attached to the forks? As oppose to the road glide where the fairing is attached to the frame.
klock werks 9 inch sport flare on 2 different RGU , one with a 23 from wheel , one with stock, the 23 wobble around 80-85 but the other don’t. Both have progressive suspension front and rear.
Good intro-rap. Long-gone are the days when we could buy a HD with the plan to keep it for life. Is this windshield another example of HD's undertesting?
I have a 2014 Street glide and have experienced the exact same problem after installing a S&S 124” HC with a DD7! I have replaced all suspension with Ohlins. New motor mounts, Head bearings & swing arm bearings. I didn’t notice any difference until I installed the True Track rear stabilizer and the bike is way more stable at higher speeds and after decel on hard acceleration. Is that the lowest KW windshield? I believe that’s the same one that I have. Did you ever experience bagger wobble in the turns? Love the video!!! What MPH did the bike trap in the 1/4?
I wonder is it a combination of the riders height above the windshield, sitting position, helmet type, bar size or a little bit of all that makes a difference. It's not like you can study aerodynamics on each specific rider but it would be neat if someone that is having this issue could go through a wind tunnel test to see what going on. Thanks for commenting.
I have a 2006 FLHT The wobble starts at 80 mph 6 in Harley-Davidson windshield I'll be changing it and letting you know If this fixes the problem Thanks for sharing this info ✌🏻
I got the klockwekrs high windscreen on my bike. I do feel like i got the wobble at 100+ after I put it on. Gonna swap it out today and see what happens
It is not the window. There is an Allen screw on each side of the gooseneck that can be adjusted. Jack the front of the bike up. Just get the tire off the ground. Pull the handle bar left or right to the stop and let it go. If it doesn’t swing back and stop in the center it’s out of adjustment. So this from left and then from right. When it centers from both sides it’s fixed! Hope this helps. I love you channel.
Thanks for the advice but I've done that already. The neck is properly tightened, i went through everything including changing the swing arm bushings. I got Ohlin's all way around, new rims and tires. I tried everything and this it the only thing that worked. I will replace the windshield with something different from Klock Werks. Thanks for watching.
I have an 11" Long Ride shield and get the wobble around the 85-90 MPH range on my 22 Street Glide. Heavy acceleration isn't necessary. I haven't been able to test for it again since adding a tour pak; that might make it worse or not.
I have a 17 roadking with a factory windshield. Mine will wobble around 80+ around corners and about 95+ on straights. Its enough to almost make me go down. I have to pull down on the bars to make it stop and sometimes that dont even help.
After little over 2 years since wreck took my road king, I am finally back on 2 wheels on a 2023 street glide! I have the 4” Klock Werks….. I get the wobble above 85 mph…. Maybe that should be your next video, which windshield doesn’t cause a death wobble….
The cheap Amazon one doesn't and I can buy a dozen for the cost of one Klock Werkz that they won't honor their warranty on.

Take care!
I would also slightly tighten the neck bearing and try with the windshield again. Kruesi mentions this all the time being a problem for causing that and it solved the problem for me with a kw shield still on it.
Tall, that was interesting, My 2019 RG started to wobble at 100 mph and it turned out to be the front wheel was out balance.Kinda scary.✌🏾🙏🏾
My 17 Streetglide has scared me 3 times...so far.....and I have tried everything I can think of yo fix it!!
Very interesting, would have never thought that the windshield would cause that.
AWESOME!!! Thank you for making this video!
I have a 2022 Flhxse. I put the same klockwerkz 5” on mine 2 months ago. My first time over 80 mph in a big sweeping turn I experienced the wobble. I’ll put the stock back on and report back on the next warm day.
That's crazy 🤔🤯 I had a 14 Street glide I love that bike but one problem it had a high speed wobble I tried everything except changing my windshield I had an aftermarket windshield 😳 that had the lip on it to push the wind up and over me 🤯
2020 Ultra Limited. I run a 10 inch recurve from F4 Customs. I've been to 105 a few times with no wobble at all.
I experience the same thing on my 2021 SG Special!! Thanks so much for this. I have a similar wind screen as you
glad it was an easy fix for ya.
I still have to get a windshield for it. I don't want to run a stock one. I'll probably get a different style Klock Werks.
@@TravelingTallplease let us know what you learn. Maybe a follow up video to this one. 😉👍
Dan is the man!!
Dan and all the folks from Zippers are good people.
No wobble 19 fltrxs Long Ride Shield love it
I have the wobble for sure and also have KW shields.
So the higher you go the better for speed? I took mine off and it got better, that's weird. Did you go with Ohlin's?
Thanks for the info and watching.
Have experience it with the Factory changed it to an aftermarket which fixed it.
What kind?
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Loving this intro song!
Clockworks had it return that one Freedom Shields on my 2012 and miw on my 2020 road glide touring model
Got an aftermarket shield and yeah... she wobbles!! I'll take it off for in town cruising maybe.
Let us know if it made a difference. Thanks for the info.
Good info. Your windshield probably wasn't letting the air flow up. At high speed
I wish I would pay more attention to see if my vent was open or closed. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@TravelingTall, it looks like the vent is open during all runs.
I have a 24' it wobbles with it closed or open, klockworks 8" windshield
@@brianstephenson5480got a 9.5 wind vest shield on my 2024 street glide no wobble at high speed its the way its cut i think
I have the same problem with the same windshield… thanks for the video!
I am using a 10 inch H-D
wind splitter windscreen.
I have a 13 Electra Glide classic running a Long Ride Shields 9 inch reaper, I haven’t felt a wobble but I’ve only had it up to 100-105 range.
I appreciate the info, thanks for watching.
2021 CVO Ultra Limited. KW Flare™ Windshield for H-D 2014-2023 FLH
10.5" / Dark Smoke. No wobble at all. Had the bike up to 120+, smooth as butter.
thanks so much for this, i got the same 80-85 wobble on my 19 Fatboy and i have a tool bag up around the handle bars, probably is that disturbing the airflow! i'll take it off and try.
Thanks for the info and for watching.
Interesting! Crazy the windshield caused that. My klockwerks 6.5" I think, doesn't cause mine do wobble but I don't ride as fast as you. lol
I thought this was going to be a fork brace install video based on the title! Curious if your tech is suggesting either a smaller or larger windshield, interesting stuff.
I’m shocked!!! I have the 9” flare on my 24 RG CVO and my 21 RG CVO never had that issue
Usually wobble comes from something not being balanced correctly. (Improper installs are a common enough scenario)
I'm aware that that too much input to the front tire can cause that as well.
Ok that’s a good find thanks for this video
I have a ‘23 street glide. It has that same wobble at 105-110. Gets worse the faster you go. It’s done it since the day I bought the bike. I have the 4” Memphis Shades windshield now. Seems to be a bit better than the stock one.
I have a 23 street glide too. Mines does the same thing as well.
I can’t run without a windshield, but I’d love to get rid of that wobble. It’s got so much more to give. If you find a windshield that works please let us know
Will do. Thanks for watching.
With the stock shield?
@@TravelingTall Yes. It seems to be a bit worse with the stock windshield.
When I do my stage 4 kit I’m going to get a steering damper since I love to corner!!
I get a wobble with my dyna switchback at 90 with a stock windshield and couldn’t figure out what the wobble was from. Thanks.
2014 street glide special
110 tire shredder kit Barnet reduced tooth comp.
I think it is Klock works windshield 2” taller than stock. Interstate wide open
Wobble at 125+mph
I haven’t been over 100mph since. Scary fast for wobble.
I have 22 Road Glide with a 122 stage 3, been up to 125 with a Freedom Shield 10 " no problem
Thanks riding tall. This was fascinating. Do you think this wobble was more prominent because the street glide and it’s fairing is attached to the forks? As oppose to the road glide where the fairing is attached to the frame.
I got the same windshield you have, actually from your reco, I haven't had that issue though.
Is that a Memphis shades windshield?
Hey Tall, can you give me a quick call? Ask you about a ride in Nashville this Saturday...I'm a Captain on the Nashville Fire Dept...
Had my ‘23 Road Gkide ST International model running at 180 km/h with no wobble. Riding two up with factory everything except seats & tour pack.
klock werks 9 inch sport flare on 2 different RGU , one with a 23 from wheel , one with stock, the 23 wobble around 80-85 but the other don’t. Both have progressive suspension front and rear.
I had a wobble from front tire cupping. I use LRS 9" shield and no issues. 2019 UL. THE BEST GLIDE
My friend had the same problem on his street glide. He had a Klockworks. Not sure the size. I think it was about 6 or 8 inches.
Thank you for watching and commenting.
That’s a nice jacket, where you get it ?
10.5" KlockWerks was causing a wobble above 80 MPH. Much better with a 12" LongRideShield, trimmed to 10.5".
I'd contact Brian at Klock Werks. Those windshields are tested in s wind tunnel and maybe you just have the wring size ?
I have a 2006 FLHT The wobble starts at 80 mph 6 in Harley-Davidson windshield I'll be changing it and letting you know If this fixes the problem Thanks for sharing this info ✌🏻
I got the klockwekrs high windscreen on my bike. I do feel like i got the wobble at 100+ after I put it on. Gonna swap it out today and see what happens
Check front motor mount or bearings in steering. Im saying removing the windshield has covered the real issue.
What make of windshield was it causing the wobble?
Thank you Too Tall!
I have a 24 RG with 511 cam , I am getting the wobble around 100mph with the 10” sport flare klock works
Good video , my streetglide was the same way. Went to roadglide issue fixed. What did she run ??
I have an 11" Long Ride shield and get the wobble around the 85-90 MPH range on my 22 Street Glide. Heavy acceleration isn't necessary. I haven't been able to test for it again since adding a tour pak; that might make it worse or not.
I have a 2013 street glide with a 26’’ wheel and the factory wind shield that does the death wobble. What would be a good replacement wind shield?
Lol, I'd check that front wheel. Thank you for watching.
SGST, stock windshield I get it @ 95 when riding solo, don’t get it in group rides of 95 and above
I have a 17 roadking with a factory windshield. Mine will wobble around 80+ around corners and about 95+ on straights. Its enough to almost make me go down. I have to pull down on the bars to make it stop and sometimes that dont even help.
