This is truly enchanting . I would never have discovered Eureka Springs if not for your film. I watch endless travel and walking vlogs and from my British perspective this is perhaps the most captivating small town I have yet seen in America. Utterly gorgeous !
Thanks! Yes, it is one of the coolest small towns in the US. The location, in the Ozark Mountains is beautiful all times of the year. The town is spectacular in the Fall when the leaves changes colors.
I lived in Eureka for 12 years and left in 1989. I can't believe what beautiful shape this city is in... Better than ever! It's even better than I remember it!
I noticed your tour was of Spring Street... many shops & B&B's on Main also - I lived there for 7 years so I know. The reason for no traffic lights is that it's a designated National Historic town - quite a bit of which you missed on your tour.
Great tour! Eureka is a very beautiful town and it also seems very peaceful. It really has a unique architecture. I have really enjoyed this relaxing tour. Good work 👍 Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Spain!
I love this small town. Such a friendly place. I try to go every few years as I love to camp and there are awesome places surrounding Eureka Springs to camp and just relax.
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but the panning is a tad fast for me...at least at the beginning. I was too dizzy to make it very far. The sound does not bother me but a slower pace of panning the camera might be easier on the viewers.
Thanks for the feedback. This video is a bit old, and I have been working to improve upon how I move the camera the past year or so. I totally agree - some of the older videos I have make me dizzy too :)
Hi there! I go next month. Can you tell me where you parked and where you walked? I love this little walking trip you made and would love to do it myself. Thanks!
Have fun! I actually took a trolley that stopped just outside my hotel and it dropped me off in front of the Eureka Springs City Hall right on Main St.. I did notice quite a few parking lots in town - they were all kinda small, but on a quiet Sunday morning I saw empty places. When I finished walking I noticed that many of those lots looked full. I think they were around $5.00 a day for the parking lots. The trolley cost me $6.00 for a full-day pass and stops at many places around the whole town. From City Hall (which is on Main St). I then took Spring Street up the hill. Just past all the historic buildings, the Spring Street branches to the right. There are some great old B&B's on this street as well as several of the springs to see. I then made a left on Crescent St to walk up to the historic Crescent Hotel and the cool church you see in the video. This was a pretty steep climb - but I took my time and it was ok. After wandering around the hotel I returned back to the entrance and followed Prospect St through another really nice area with some old homes. At Pine Street street I turned left and walked down the hill until I returned back to Spring Street. I figure it was about a 2.5 mile walk - but keep in mind that Eureka Springs is very hilly and those two miles or so took a while due to the steep streets.

Visited 1990. A hilly hillbilly town. Was a charming 1-day experience. Felt like Italy 🇫🇮
Wow, this town is so beautiful. Have a nice day.
Thank you! You too!
I enjoy your videos with sound much better than without. Neat area that I've been interested in seeing more of, thank you.
Glad you like them!
@@WanderingWalksofWonder Thank you for not adding any music. It allows me to hear how noisy or quiet an area is. Great job!
Looks like a beautiful gem. The architecture and cobble stones look historical. Thanks for taking us along. New sub from Canada :-)
Thanks for the sub!
very nice video 👍 like 💝
Thank you! Cheers!
I'd give up a week of my life to get back there one more time. I wept when I saw all the places I went to.

That looks really cool. Nice scenery, we don't have any hilly or mountainous terrain here in Florida.
I know. I've been to FL many times. I spend the winters on the Gulf Coast and then travel north for the summer.
So Cool! Great Virtual Tour! 👍👍😊😊 Wonderful!
Thanks so much!
As a person who has trouble walking, the effort to do the filming was worth it. I'm outta breath lol.
It is a tough city to walk in - Probably the most hilly one I've done!
Nice Tour! cool..thank u for sharing😀🇪🇸👍👏👏

So beautiful town but why very quiet? I think Because COVID-19 ?
Yes - and it was early on Sunday morning!
Not sure what you're used to but this town is quieter than a city. It's wonderful.
Heading there in May!! Thanks bringing us along!! We look forward to
following you on your adventures!! Check out ours as well!!
