    I wonder what are the current market values of most of the opulent homes you showed? Based on the Atlantic coast location and the nice appearance of the town, I would surmise that the going prices of these estates would range from: 4 million to 12 million bucks. Looks like this area of Carolina is only for the well-to-do.

    Thank you so much for taking us down the historical Hays City streets. My Mom, who died in 1990, was born in Hays in 1924. Her family moved in 1935 to Portland, Oregon, during the Great Depression. A day does not go by when I don't think of her. I was thinking that these were the same streets she would have walked back in her young days. Thank you. This was a beautiful gift.

      You could easily spend a 1/2 day just wandering around - but if you take in a few wineries or the museums it could easily be a full day, or even a nice weekend trip.

    I saw star wars on its opening night at the Maco. Spent my summers at grandmas house. My moms side of the family all lived in Virginia, Gilbert, and McKinley. Im having serious flashbacks to the 70's/80's watching this right now. Goddamm it I miss them😢

      It's funny how we remember things from our past - especially movies, concerts, or other things. The whole area around Virginia I found to be beautiful. It is one great place to explore - especially in the summer when it's cooler in MN than the rest of us in the south.

    You went by the Missouri Pacific depot but didn’t announce it. It has no class, nothing Like the Katy depot. Looks like it was built in the early 1950’s. Wonder if it replaced a more ordinate building. Too bad it was not renovated, but no interest in that back then. Amtrak still stops here. David amore it Rinate building.

    Great walk! Two comments Ilfeld is pronounced "ILL-feld", and you went right by the iconic Murphey Drug Store. That has a history all of its own.

    U should have showed the bad side of Harrison (KKK Hang Out) which is not far from where u was taking video's of the Square the KKK Hang Out spot is actually at the Minnie Harris Park. If your traveling and u are black and u stop at the park. U will be quickly asked to vacate the premise's.

    I enjoyed the Grand Rapids walk through,since it is my hometown. Suggestions for a revisit would be the Heritage Hill area of historic homes. Gerald R Ford Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum and Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
