I love my Note 8. I haven't stop tweaking it since I got it. This is by far the best purchase I have made and the best phone I have ever owned. For those who talk about the battery issues I haven't had a battery issue at all. It hasn't dropped below 50% and that was when I was using it for a while. NO PROBLEMS WITH BATTERY LIFE!

I am a construction contractor, my Note 8 thin case has a magnetic back. It goes everywhere. Gets knocked off on concrete, tile floors, falls off the tailgate, ends up in the hot tub, toilet, you name it. I run my business still from it. It takes great pics/videos, runs any software/apps I want with no lag. After 5+ years now of heavy daily use, there is slight screen burn in. It also would be petty to complain about the battery life being diminished after 1,700+ days of use. Samsung built an amazing smart phone that 100% met my harsh demands. And it continues to do it, with it's head held high, year after year. 👍
I pre-ordered it today. I have an LG V20 but, I think the LG V30 is not worth the upgrade. Being an audiophile that leaves me with a problem. I need good earphones or amp or even both to drive that awful headphone jack. Any suggestions?

Even though I just bought a note 20 ultra, I find myself going back to re-visit the note 8 and now 10 +. One of my favorite phones ever was the Galaxy note edge, a true edge phone. It always garnered so much attention from everyone that saw it. It had the edge-view case, so the edge was not covered. Saki has the best tutorials. Samsung should hire him as a trainer.

That was just awesome, I changed the things I liked especially the way the digital clocked displayed, I hated the the 2 numbers on top of each other. Now, tell me if I am wrong, but can I add more apps to the home screen? I don't have the number of apps you want on the homw screen. How can I add more apps to the home screen?

Disagree. Still much more you can do on a rooted device. I've got a jailbroken iPhone 8 and a stock note 8 due to banking apps.
Simply, Android lets you make ur smartphone as ur dream smartphone. On the other hand, iOS gives you a high wall of protection & a unique experience.

One thing I miss that's on the note4 is knowing who is calling u or texting u before u answer it!
