Thank you. I appreciate your defence of movies and games and their supposed responsibility for modern violence, as everyone knows it is the ancient Greeks and their fascination with tragic theatre that created the pop culture fascination with and emulation of killers. This is the third movie I saw Matthew Lillard in. First was "Serial Mom" (1994), then "Hackers" (1995) where he played Emmanuel "Cereal Killer" Goldstein, and then this, where he is finally a killer, a spree killer.
Not sure if y'all have seen it but I highly recommend watching Matthew Lillard in SLC Punk. It was made around the time of this and is probably up there with Scream for his all time best performances, though more serious in some ways. If you are fans of punk music then you'll probably identify a little more.
The Collector 2009 and it’s sequel The Collection 2012 are the best slasher flicks I’ve seen. Keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Definitely watch The Collector 2009 then The Collection 2012.

Please would you try watching "Theatre of Blood" (1973), it is dated, and very British, but it is an early themed serial killer or slasher movie, and if you haven't seen it I think you would really like it.
