This car is alot of fun to drive I bet. My heavy fg2 8th gen with k24a rips with just rbc intake, ram air filter an header with stock 25° vtc gear. I love this car !!!

Should have put on some mileage to seat the rings and bearings in before a serious tune. 80 miles is decent seating, but u want the 200 mile mark just like with clutches to break it in, to give it the longevity. The engine characteristics will change a little once you get into couple hundred miles in, once all the clearances seat in. Gain couple more HP (single digit gains, no double, but should get more reactive)

We have the same setup with a RBC and 50 deg VTC and made 244 in this high Florida heat. Get a VTC we picked up 31 hp with tuning that alone.
Oh and get the dash rug in black like you wanted then you can have time to work on other projects which im looking forward to 💯

I've always ownded EF's and love your channel!!!! I currently have my dream car (91 Tahitian Green Si Hatch) in my garage and it has been for 2 years. Have gutted suspension 100% and about to start ordering parts to completely rebuild it all. I want to do this exact swap, K24A2 and it seems like a huge task. Bro nice set up but to really have fun in the streets and highway i stay all motor mini me d15b2 and z6 head VTEC and b16a or 2 all motor the cam sounds gd and the CRX feel that really run well with this combos the rest to much weight and HP i love the Ds engines combos and the b16 motors the rest are to much to really enjoy the highway and streets in my opinion and believe me im being in a lots of my friends set ups for me is to much above the b16s
Cant wait till car is painted, and please work on door cards so the car is done and 💯complete👍👍

What k24 did you use? What was it out of? Looking at yours and vtec academys budget builds I think I can put together a cheap swap for my ef hatch and still daily it. Cause I can find k engines all day at pick n pull just gotta look harder for trans but hell it's about same to put a b series in I feel

Thanks for reply brutha! Has a quick question for you. My 97 Prelude has a swapped H22A black top, and has the crank pulley wobble, took it to a mechanic due to me recovering from hernia surgery. Had him replace the pulley with other used OEM pulley that came with the car when I both it. It still wobbles and whines. The guy didn't change the crank key which I have the new one. Said it wasn't necessary. Any feedback would be most appreciated my guy! Thanks for your time. Keep it banging homie

why do you use such heavy weight oil? 20w50 dont hondas enjoy a lighter weight oil? or is that due to heat in your area and for being on the track only?
it doesnt get cold much here in cali. has its perks for racing as well as overhead cam engines. i usually run 15w40.
