We bought a Kia Telluride recently based on your review and we really like it! It was loaded with safety features, which was our #1 thing that we were looking for. The Sorento seems like a smaller version of the Telluride. I'm very impressed with Kia. The dealership didn't use any of the usual tricks, gimmicks and pressure that we've experienced at other dealers. It seems to be part of the culture at Kia. They sent a survey and had questions ensuring that no pressure was placed on us.
Sorento is a smaller, faster, more off road capable version.

Love it!! This is what I ordered and was delivered the week after Christmas! Xline sx prestige, wolfgrey with rust interior. The rust interror is soo nice.. I did notice just this weekend, that something was weird with my transmission. Will be going to get that checked.. otherwise I had no problems, and have Loved it! When on eco mode, I got about 22 mpg. I switched to smart after my strange lag, and got 19.7 mpg. So not as great as a CRV, but, it's also turbo.
Any updates with your transmission?

Are you sure there isn’t wireless Apple CarPlay capabilities? KIA website advertises this vehicle with that feature

I'd be interested in the X trim *without* AWD.
I know. I much prefer the rugged appearance of the X-Line, but don’t give a fig about AWD or FWD.
I just got back from my local kia dealer and he informed me that the same exact identicle suv comes with wireless andriod/apple car play... he lied, he stated it comes fully loaded and that the interior only comes in one color...he's liarrrrr😡... he lost my business
Love most of this vehicle but the front is just bland. The placement of the fog lights, in an age where other vehicles have LED lights with creative and unique designs and placement just lacks creativity. Who uses square fog lights anymore? Love the look of the rear though but the front leaves alot to be desired.
