    Thanks for your review. Which is the trolley you use in the video to adapt the BrightLine with a good CG? Thanks!!

    I just bought the B7 Flight Bag, Flex Camera Divider Kit and, the CS2 Tall Kit. As a Flight attendant, student pilot and, photographer. I carry a lot of stuff from all of my items needed for working my camera gear and lenses to my logbook and other stuff needed to fly as a student pilot. Mine should be arriving next week and can’t wait to start using it. Loved your video for the deep and thorough review on it explaining everything. Liked and subscribed!

    Fellow pilot here. I carry the brightline all the time and have a matador backpack that lives in the bottom of my rollable. The backpack isn’t as comfortable as my go ruck for sure but for short layovers it does what I need

      Nice! Do you have it setup like this? B4?

  • @StephenMcInnis

    Appreciate the in-depth review! Is there enough room in the B4 for a 13 inch MacBook? Possibly in the section where you had your Kindle?

      So this is a great question. Brightline actually makes a laptop compartment. The problem with sliding an iPad or laptop in there without the laptop thing is the padding. Mostly because you're putting your laptop directly on the ground with not enough protection for me personally.

      @@JBOutside1, thanks for the reply! And I'm assuming the laptop plus a sleeve would be a tight fit?

    Most airline pilots i know actually use rimowa carry on and some kind of business/travel backpack. But that could also be a germam think, because rimowa used to be german family owned companey and pilots that work for lufthansa get a huge discount and a have repair center at every airport they are usually flying to. Furthere more they used to be better quaility and cheaper, before they were sold to lvmh. In my opinion lvmh is playing a dangours game in the long run.

      Gotcha. Must be a Europe thing

      I switched to Rimowa after my Luggage Works Stealth 22 of 12 years. I switched to have a spinner that was sleek and would last. Also I rarely have trips that have more than 2 legs and don't come with crew meals so I don't need to pack as much as I did 15 plus years ago at the regionals. I loved the Stealth but I really like not pulling my bag behind me and the Rimowa Cabin is pretty effortless even after 6 years. @@JBOutside1

    My cousin is constantly forgetting 🍌 in his pilot bag. Is the "no backpacks" a policy thing or just frowned on?

    • @JBOutside1
      @JBOutside1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, oh the smell! I see a lot of backpacks. In my completely unscientific survey I’d say I see more backpacks than anything. If I move out of the B4 it’d be back to the Samurai or Dyneema GR1s.

    How heavy is the BrightLine all by itself empty? It looks really functional, but also heavy if it’s not going to attach to another roller bag.

    • @JBOutside1
      @JBOutside1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It’s not heavy empty. But that totally depends on how you configure it. I’ve carried it in one hand fully loaded no problem. The shoulder strap is a good option if you pack a ton of stuff.

    Suprised you didnt get the Axiom S2 WX Pack considering how much you like wax canvas. I got the dark oak. Best of the triple aught design packs.

    I remember I had a Royal Bag bag as a casual Lt; I think I finally sent it into retirement about 3 years ago! Made a great gym bag with those two end pockets.
