Thank you for all the Music, for all the Energy and Inspiration, for the unlimited force of your playing, Mr. Woolfolk. To me, he is one of the greatest players of all time. In this track, he is way above what most saxophonists tend to do: "I need to play fast and technical". He was able to portrait emotions with his playing, whether it was smooth and lyrical, or in "Afriacano": energetic and, fittingly, fast and technical. He could do both. His playing and also his choice of Instruments (Flute/Soprano/Alto/Tenor Sax) could plant emotions, whether it was just a short interlude making the listener smile, or a soloing adventure taking you to another realm of peace and energy. He was a grandmaster at his instruments and still is the most influential player to me, May he rest in eternal peace.
