R32 GTR Nissan Skyline - Garrett GTX 2867r Twin Turbo Fitment to RB26

- In this episode we go back to when the Skyline engine was being built. We show how we fitted twin Garretts GTX 2867r's built by GCG. We pull the turbos in half and swap out the stainless 0.85 a/r artec rear housings for the smaller 0.64 a/r housings for better response and a more linear power curve. These turbos had a massive influence on the Skylines impressive power output along with the CES custom dump pipes.

What are the power potentials with this turbo manifold setup? Great content btw
Hey man thanks for watching. Honestly I have no idea how it’s going to go. Maybe high 700’s but I know it’s going to have huge torque and response! I guess it’s equivalent to a g40-900 the manifold is a hypertune based setup so they have been tested for huge power

Just wondering how these turbos perform vs standard Rb26 turbos in terms of spool? Do they spool at roughly the same time as stock turbos, but deliver a lot more power up top? There are so many options for twins on an Rb26 like -5 / -7 / -9s etc.. but they are all 20 years old now.
The -5’s are Garrett’s latest turbos being they are gtx with billet wheel’s definitely not 20 years old. They are laggy but punchy much better than stock turbos. Twins are hard as there is so
Much that can contribute, like exhaust, engine compression and intake manifold.
What turbo manifolds are they? I was thinking of getting manifolds made for the turbos…but not sure now🤔

Hey Mate, Unfortunately Trevor (owner) has had to close the business down due to a few medical complications. It is going to be very hard trying to find someone with that level of workmanship for future builds.
