I've never been to NYC but I use to live in Chicago and San Diego. I've visited l.a. many times. it's a totally different world in each city. and opposites do not attract. Really rare if do and just temp. folks leave l.a. all the time even if making it there.
at least he'll be closer to his son. and Casey is classic to travel... probably won't be in California that much. probably why moved there so his wife isn't alone all of the time. Casey is dead beat to his family according to his past videos.

Exact time isn't really the point, I just think between the weather, his family, and more access to entertainment/film opportunities will lure him in ... I know what you mean though, the food, culture, the quick pace and nobody giving a rat's ass about what anybody else is doing are all irreplaceable and things he's not going find in LA, that's for sure. And the authenticity, people in NYC are "real" where LA is all about image and popularity, very superficial and not for me ... The family thing though is huge, and when he sees people he loves being happy, I think that'll rub off on him and he'll grow to really love it. We shall see, just my hunch.
