Not really a Vauxhall fan, but I have to say, it's good to see an absolute ground up build, by a lady which lets be honest is quite unusual. The fact Ash has blown it up a few times yet stuck with it and kept on going through all the stress of the problems, and made this machine which is really pushing the limits of the engine and what it is capable of. I ran a 455bhp/634nm M140i for 4 years, and appreciate the B58 is so easy to get big power from, and to get the same from the Vauxhall lump is really something. I'm not going to lie, the styling of this is absolutely not my thing, I prefer a sleeper, but each to their own and good on Ash for doing things in her unique own way.
@@Vinnievxr666 I had it like that for 4 years, but last November, after 90 mins of hooning round the countryside in traction off mode, sideways everywhere, I was coming home at normal traffic speeds, and as I accelerated away from a roundabout with about 1/2 throttle, I hit a patch of diesel and the car went sideways, which I held fine. But as I came off the slippy onto the grippy tarmac, the car spat me round 180 in a microsecond, I couldn't do a thing about it. Backwards off the road at 50mph into a tree. Car was a write off, it creased the C pillar and rippled the roof. Bit gutted, but I'm now rolling in an OG M2, which is slower in a straight line, but on another level for everything else.

@@Vinnievxr666 I got it in December last year when the insurance paid out for the M140i. It was a 1 owner from new (lady owner), with FSH, and 25,800 miles on. It is totally standard, and I think I'm going to keep it that way, as it seems too good and too original to mod, plus the N55 doesn't respond to tuning in the same way the B58 does. The only Vauxhall I would say that’s easy to get that sort of power without forging is the Vectra VXR. Which has been proven many times to push between 600-700BHP in stock internals

Absolutely loved my astra and had plans to do modifications and such later on but 6 weeks ago it was written off by a land rover discovery I miss that car 😢

Hello mate, yeah that’s not a problem. Basically the top end of the engine block has got waterways where the head gasket goes, and what they do, is they get a bit of the same material as of the engine and wedge it in the waterways just to make it stronger so act as if it’s a close deck block mate
450 bhp very good but question how long this 2 litre 4 pot engine will last? Don't think very long and also as we know Vauxhall engine are not reliable!

Yeah, now she’s got the swell pot done she should be running 500bhp very soon and sometimes you gotta go through a lot of crap to get to your happy place that’s the Z20 life 🤣

Yeah it had a fuel pump issue several years ago. Went undiagnosed until a decent mapper diagnosed it
