  • My wife and I spent 2 days cycling the Greater Niagara Circle Route with its beautiful views and Vistas . In this video we completed the northern section of this route , starting on the Welland Canals Parkway Trail, crossing to the Niagara River Recreational Trail ,then cycling the Waterfront Trail. This video features spectacular views of Niagara Falls and gives details about the Robinson Ferry and the Bridge It routes.

Nice ride, been planning to do this route and your route and your route is exactly the route we would plan. Did you record this on an gps app that can be shared ? An app like All Trails, Strava, Ride GPS, etc. It seems like there web site has been taken down …

Hi Larry. Loved your video guide to the loop. My husband and I will be doing this in Sept. We'd like to stay at one hotel while we are in Niagara Falls area. Looks like your route allows us to do this. Does the Port Robinson Ferry go from welland parkway all the way across to Niagara River Rec trail(when I watched your video a while ago I think I remember it being a pretty quick crossing on the boat) Thanks for any advise you have to offer. Is there a preferred direction to the trip in???

glad you liked video , wow really enjoyed this route , we actually stayed in St Catherines and started from there to bike south on the Weiland Canal trail , but if you stay in Niagara Falls you can cross from there on the Bridget it Route to get to the Port Robinson Ferry , it takes about an hour to cross to it
Using the Ferry we were able to break this great Circle route into 2 halves , the only part you repeat in crossing from Port Robinson to the Niagara parkway or from the Niagara parkway to Port Robinson
The only problem is biking through Niagara Falls by the Falls , it is quite busy so we had to walk our bikes
