Oh the memories...I have watched you for years from work first now from fulltiming. We are in the process of moving out of our current class A as we just signed a Bill of Sale yesterday afternoon, now going into a rental. Who would thought we would go from 64 1/2 acres, a 2500+ sq ft house, horses, dogs, cat, chickens F250 truck, 4-horse trailer, 5th wheel flat bed, JD Tractor and implements and so much more not listed to a Class and a Jeep Rubicon to just a Jeep Rubicon tomorrow when they pick up our current rv..our new one is in the build process...we will be in between rv's until then. This will be an interesting and memorable time in between to look back on just like you are looking back where you began. Jax has been awesome since I first started watching your videos.

Wowww that was soooo cool. It was like "back to the future". Seeing Jax as a baby made me cry happy tears. What an amazing journey you both have been on all these years, and gone from strength to strength each year, that really is remarkable. Maybe do a "trip down memory lane" voiceover video like this every now and again? It was nice to hear your commentary on it, looking back.

I have a tiger lookalike to Jax, named Ollie (erroneously named Mollie in the early days) who talks incessantly, teases the dogs (unphased by their terrorism) and lives being in the car. Found him abandoned by mom at about 4 weeks, crying up a storm in the backyard of the neighbor with a pit bull in the front yard. My adult granddaughter climbed the fence, rescued the loud little critter, my great granddaughter wanted to keep it (of course) and mom said no; so without an intervening breath she said, that's ok, gramma will keep it! And I did, forgetting we had a camping trip to the ocean planned for the next weekend! Dogs, great granddaughter, and bottle feeding kitten went to Bodega Bay and canopied for three days. Hubby drove F150 pickup with bed in back and I my SUV with all the babies inside! What fun!!! He's loved riding and gets in car every time the doors get left open for a minute.

I have to disagree. There is still a lot of interesting content these days. He has learned a lot and changed things up in order to work better and more efficiently. I do sometimes miss the videos where he stayed at State Parks or places that weren't really public campgrounds. Those videos always sparked my sense of adventure. But I still enjoy the new videos just as much.

I loved how you showed real life struggle in your older videos. You would visit parks and places and do a cinematic production of those places. It was was real and basic. Now, you’ve grown your channel into a different genre. But, I would love to see you get back to your roots with videos. I believe your best work was when you had to creative on a limited budget/being broke. You made the best of what you had and that’s what separated you from the rest. Congratulations on your successes but the roots are where the content is.

Love the early days b-4 u tube, Margaret Mckinney looks more like it did in the 70's early 80's. I recall when there was no pavement anywhere in the Capitol forest. Then they paved the road that went thru to the road along the Chehalis river, been so long ago I can't recall the tiny town right there. I literally cried when it got paved up thru there, knowing how many more people would be all over up there!

Yah, I live in a 31 foot class A Airstream. I manage an RV park and get free rent. I’m buying a 22 foot class C Brougham for $1,300 and going to fix it up to go play. It will need about $4,000 in work. New tires, dicor and eternabond tape on the roof, new batteries and lots of upholstery, new floor. It’s fiberglass body so no leaks on the overhead bed. My brother is a mechanic and it hasn’t been started for a couple of years but only has about 49,000 miles on it. I think it will be a good project to get me out of my rut. I’m close to the Eastern Sierras and Death Valley so four day trips are doable.
