We finally get round to answering your TH-cam related questions this week. We get quite a few fairly regularly and thought we'd answer them all in a bit more detail in a video.
So if you are wondering if its worth the effort to set up and grow a TH-cam channel, what it's like dealing with trolls, how it effects your mental health, where we want to take the channel, and the big one, how to make money on youtube and how much we make? Then we cover it all in this video!
When we started our channel it was all about our van build of our self converted campervan, it's now progressed to a female van life travel series, sometimes with a bit of comedy thrown in, and along the way we've gathered loads of you who want to come along on that journey with us. So we want to make sure we share as much as we can about that journey, and a huge part of it is our experience on TH-cam!
We get so many questions about being vanlife youtubers from you lot, that we wanted to include you in that part of the journey too, as I know some of you are also thinking about trying to earn a full time income from vlogging.
So whether you are interested as you are thinking of starting a channel yourself, or if you're just a nosy parker (and that's fine), or you're wondering if you can make money on TH-cam, then this is the video for you!

perhaps Patreons just help with the running costs of a channel keeping there heads above water as it were. You cannot work full time and run a channel like these girls have done, so a few quid extra could mean make or brake.@@RenayVildhjarta

You have do so so well and grown with consistent videos great editing and story telling . This is how it should be done and is is how to do it . Your channel is of value and gives what the audience wants and your both doing great . You see so many people out there who just obsess about the vanity metric of numbers and subs and beating other channels but instead of working hard and making videos people want to watch they head out and buy buy buy views subs and even comments . And it’s so sad to see it done and believe me it stands out like a saw thumb when people do it cos the numbers just don’t add up and the comments done make sense . But you I look at and you see how much hard work you put in to the channel bravo it’s a credit to you both . You know I love data and data don’t lie . This is one channel that proves good content wins . Keep it up lady’s

Good content and effort is deffo the way to go, although as you probably know, it sucks sometimes when you put in all that effort and some shit video just flies!! I'm a firm believer in growing slowly and genuinely tho, best way in the end.

But, you, are the genuine stars of the show, honestly, even as a human hater by nature as I am, being caught by your personalities (twisted as they are hahaha) is what makes content worthy... Obviously, besides Lou's incredible talent for freezing time and set it in motion with colors and music again... I watch all of the video's you make regardless of the content. You are always honest showing the good, bad and boring of full time van life and don't come across like some channels as just being on a big jolly. And I just love the humour. I follow Ash, CJ and Liam for similar reasons. You all take me along on a life I wish I could do, but it was not for me due to mostly my ptsd especially after my camper was attacked whilst I was in it. Your memories of travelling Aus 20 years ago made me chuckle!!! I was there, 1999, and remember having no phone, and buying phone cards to call home ( trying to hold a conversation with my old's, drunk on Christmas day eve, in a call box at midnight!). The fun we had, and how times change.
