Completely agree people want the longer content on TH-cam rather than a few seconds. Especially watching travel blogs like your fab ones, it's pure escapism for those of us who can't travel abroad ourselves!
My parents think it's ridiculous that myself, being a girl, wants to travel in a van so it's great to see you guys proving that it's something I can do :) Great video as usual!

I’m an Irish woman living in Canada on the brink of a small town . Our home backs onto a huge creek with a forest and a river. There are all sorts of wild life, deer / stags , fox’s, beaver, cayotes, plus lots of birds, wild turkeys, oreoles, hawks , eagles , robins , geese, My husband grows all sorts of veggies. Onions , spuds, beets, tomatoes, brussell sprouts and a variety of herbs. Sage tea with honey is great. I can appreciate what you do and love to watch you. Take care bless you. 18:14

You have do so so well and grown with consistent videos great editing and story telling . This is how it should be done and is is how to do it . Your channel is of value and gives what the audience wants and your both doing great . You see so many people out there who just obsess about the vanity metric of numbers and subs and beating other channels but instead of working hard and making videos people want to watch they head out and buy buy buy views subs and even comments . And it’s so sad to see it done and believe me it stands out like a saw thumb when people do it cos the numbers just don’t add up and the comments done make sense . Good content and effort is deffo the way to go, although as you probably know, it sucks sometimes when you put in all that effort and some shit video just flies!! Definitely put to bed the debate on capping subscribers at 25/50K now you're on 70K+ (That 100K getting closer). Great to look back at the early vids (looking for a single seat for our Relay so just recapping on your experience and got carried away). Also hate need for 'click baity' thumbnails but AJ in a bikini - great idea😁.
For some is about traveling, or building things up, or video games, whatever other people base their Channel on... But, you, are the genuine stars of the show, honestly, even as a human hater by nature as I am, being caught by your personalities (twisted as they are hahaha) is what makes content worthy... I literally saw your channel due to the engine hell you went through, I never thought I'd follow you as I was only watching a few channels, but now I watch every video and the way the both of you are together and apart is so engaging, you are both interesting, Emilys 2 minutes tours make me giggle :), her snack batch, Lous photography/videoing :) You are a very engaging couple to watch online. I watch all of the video's you make regardless of the content. You are always honest showing the good, bad and boring of full time van life and don't come across like some channels as just being on a big jolly. And I just love the humour. I follow Ash, CJ and Liam for similar reasons. You all take me along on a life I wish I could do, but it was not for me due to mostly my ptsd especially after my camper was attacked whilst I was in it. kudos for showing your youtoob creator info, and being upfront with how you finance your van life... personally I see Patreon as a way for your viewers to show their support, not so much the need for a secondary feed so don't get bent out of shape trying to come up with new content.
Definitely keep long form content, I wouldn’t watch a channel on say, TikTok. Short content is annoying and I am able to concentrate on something for more than a minute 😅
Really interesting video. I did think about starting a TH-cam channel showing the stuff my partner Tamsin and I do and I admit that being in a same sex relationship and the troll issue worried me. It was nice to hear that there wasn't too much abuse. When I did have a little go just trying to film myself fixing a big bench power supply I thought I was going to electrocute myself concentrating on the filming. It's bloody hard work so much appreciation for putting in the huge amount of effort required.
If you want to do it, I would and if you don't like it you can stop, that's the best part as it's just for fun and no pressure you can stick at it or not 😁😁

That is sooo true and so unfair! I'm talking about the thumbnail and click bait.!! It really frustrates me, it is really hard to think of what to do with thumbnails etc It's supposed to be relevant to your video but I've seen other TH-camrs take thumbnail pictures nothing to do with their video. I literally saw your channel due to the engine hell you went through, I never thought I'd follow you as I was only watching a few channels, but now I watch every video and the way the both of you are together and apart is so engaging, you are both interesting, Emilys 2 minutes tours make me giggle :), her snack batch, Lous photography/videoing :) You are a very engaging couple to watch online. I watch all of the video's you make regardless of the content. You are always honest showing the good, bad and boring of full time van life and don't come across like some channels as just being on a big jolly. And I just love the humour. I follow Ash, CJ and Liam for similar reasons. You all take me along on a life I wish I could do, but it was not for me due to mostly my ptsd especially after my camper was attacked whilst I was in it. So thank you for taking me along on your travels. You both take care!!!! xx

kudos for showing your youtoob creator info, and being upfront with how you finance your van life... personally I see Patreon as a way for your viewers to show their support, not so much the need for a secondary feed so don't get bent out of shape trying to come up with new content.
Definitely keep long form content, I wouldn’t watch a channel on say, TikTok. Short content is annoying and I am able to concentrate on something for more than a minute 😅

Really interesting video. I did think about starting a TH-cam channel showing the stuff my partner Tamsin and I do and I admit that being in a same sex relationship and the troll issue worried me. It was nice to hear that there wasn't too much abuse. When I did have a little go just trying to film myself fixing a big bench power supply I thought I was going to electrocute myself concentrating on the filming. It's bloody hard work so much appreciation for putting in the huge amount of effort required.
If you want to do it, I would and if you don't like it you can stop, that's the best part as it's just for fun and no pressure you can stick at it or not 😁😁

That is sooo true and so unfair! I'm talking about the thumbnail and click bait.!! It really frustrates me, it is really hard to think of what to do with thumbnails etc It's supposed to be relevant to your video but I've seen other TH-camrs take thumbnail pictures nothing to do with their video. It can be so misleading. Loving your videos, their honest. take care xx

It’s only what used to be very funny there was something that I did take on board trying to convert a van at the moment and one thing I liked was when you were on your own cleaning up a load of rubbish and then having to empty it all out again that video was fantastic keep it up
