Thank you for this tutorial. I added one more increase round on the base since I used a smaller needle for the yarn that I have and it turned out well ❤
Hi, I want to increase the stitches because my cup is bigger to top. Could you pls show me how to do it. I am new with crochet. Thank you so much. From Vietnam
Do you mean that you want the holder to get wider partway up, or do you want the whole thing wider from the base to the top? Or do you just need it taller?
@@NguyetKhanhtran I do not know of a way to increase with the star stitch. I would think the best way to do it would be to switch to another basic stitch for a few rows that could incorporate some increases and then when you have the width you want, switch back to the star stitch.
I am not super familiar with what milk cotton is. From googling, it sounds like it is not actually cotton. It is probably fine if you use it, but I am not familiar with the qualities. It might not be as easy to wash as cotton is.
My granddaughter just sent me this link with a request for me to make one. Seeing her tomorrow so into my stash I go!
Hope she loves it!
This is such a cute design!! I made one for my sister and she loves it, thanks for the tutorial❤

So glad you enjoyed the pattern!
Excellent !!
Making one for myself at the moment ❤
Adorable, thank you!
Glad you like it!
Nice thanks for this! Btw did you use all the yarn for this project?
This pattern requires either 2 regular skeins of Lily Sugar N Cream or one Super size.
Very clear instructions, thank you. What size is of bottle is this for?
any size, you can increase if the base is too small
How would you make a bottle holder using an old CD for the bottom?

Thank you for your reply. I would like to get it wider partway up to hold starbuck stainlesscup. Thanks again.

I lost the end of the 5th round of base. Now I can't figure out where to end the 6th round. Can you please help??
I would just pull out the stitches back to the beginning of the round and start that round over.
Hi, im still new at crocheting. Is it ok if I use milk cotton yarn? Is it the same?

I bought the pattern on Etsy, got to the star stitch, and got completely lost lol.
I hope the video was helpful!
