If you need to increase the base of your holder, continue to do the same 2dc 1dc as the third row. So chain 3, dc 2 into the first stitch, then 1 in the next, so on so forth until you reach your original chain. Then slip stich into the top link of the chain
@@wellaroquero4722yes it’s ok for it to curve. it’s curving bc ur either putting to much tension in ur stitches or ur yarn is too thick. but either way the project still turns out great with a curving bottom bc in the end u can barely tell the difference

Very easy, nice. I used normal acrylic (cheapy) yarn without doubling the yarn and couldn't figure out the strap so I made a strap with single crochet. Thank you.
I’m 12 and I recently started crocheting and I made this for my 2nd project, I’m sooo happy with the results and I have to say this tutorial is the most helpful and detailed one I’ve ever followed, keep up the good work!
Really enjoyed how you taught. I've never done that knot stitch before. It was fun to learn and very sturdy. Took me like 3 hours because I stopped and started a lot but so glad it was something I could finish in one day. Blessings!
Amazing tutorial! This is the very first time I have crocheted anything more than a few chain stitches and I found this incredibly easy to follow and it was a great beginner's project - not too long, learning a lot of important skills, pretty and useful for everyday life! I wanted to note that i had to re-make the strap much shorter in the end, because it became very long as soon as the weight of a full waterbottle pulled it down and stretched it out.
I’m so in love with your tutorial it’s so cute to fit whatever size bottle you like…I made a mini size and a large size bottle holder…thank you so much❤️👍🏾
I decided to make this with acrylic yarn a couple months back, and now I'm remaking it with cable yarn. It's definitely easier if you don’t use a bulky yarn, but i think it's up to personal preference what you use for your yarn.
l failed at every other tutorials because it was hard to do especially the magic ring but your video? it was AMAZING and easy to follow, thank you so much
This is really great! Thank you so much for explaining each stitch and step so clearly I’m a beginner and this had so many unfamiliar parts but I was able to chrochet this and I’m really proud of it!
Love this tutorial because its so easy to follow thank you so much But also when i did the last row my bottle didn’t fit in it now i dont really know how to do the other row ontop of it! Ty thooo smmmm
@@vanilla_crxxm2212 I think it depends on what type of yarn you're using. I used a medium which is thicker and didn't have to double the yarn. Hope this helps!
Great tutorial. I found the overall product looked lovely but where you joined the row and went up to the next row, in my opinion, didnt look as neat and looked all jumbled. I may find another way of increasing the rows and give it another try.
@@itsmebri1645 I have started mine again and instead of a trebble crochet around the chain 5, I have joined it with a slip stitch at the 3rd chain. I found the area where we would join the next row by doing the trebble crochet around the chain 5, looked put of shape.
For that, I'm pretty sure you can modify the bottom circle to make it however big you need it, then do the mesh part to however high you want it. I'm not totally sure though.
From your video, the strap is being held up only by one chain... How do you secure the starting side of the bottle strap? At the end of the video, in the «result part», we can see that the starting side of the strap is more secure than with just one chain.
Is this on purpose? For the bottom. In round 3 you do... Two double crochet in the first stitch and one double crochet in the second stitch... And repeat that all the way around. If a 4th row of increases are needed after that, I understand the increases to be this way... Two double crochet in the first stitch, one double crochet in the next two stitches. So this is how I understand increasing in the round. In your tutorial, you say on the fourth round if you need to increase to continue the pattern of round 3. Is this on purpose? Thank you. ...

IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH THE STRAP MAKE A LINE OF SINGLE CROCHET AND SEW IT ON HOPE THIS HELPS

Can I used this pattern using red heart yarn ? And what hook size should I used? Blair I love your work ❤❤❤
Tried the red heart yarn and it doesn't work well for the mesh because it doesn't stretch as much as cotton yarn.
Thankkkk youuuuuuu🥰I can finish my bottle holder 🫶🏼✌🏼
Can you make a tutorial for an ice scraper mitt?? There is none on YT that I could find - your tutorials are amazing, thanks!
All was ok until the strap really couldn't understand it see how it was done.i tried.i only used single strand.didht need to double

I slipped stiched into 3rd chain of beginning round. Slip 1 Then chain 5 . round is same as her first row then
So good tutorial thank you
Thank u for the tutorial , I made this but couldn't make handle
Same handle was quite hard but I just chained one and add it
I was doing so well not until the strap part. I'm using the color evergreen so it's really hard to see where my hook is going
Same I just Made a Chain and double chrochet till the end
It is nice
I ran out of yarn at 9:13 😭
I will be back to complete this project.
I think that she used the tapestry needle and some of the thread and made a more solid connection of the strap to the bottle on each side.
Slay
❤️
How do you secure your starting side of the bottle strap? It's only being held up by 1 chain from your video :o
I’m wondering this too
Try half double crocheting three stitches and continue doing that until you've reached your prefer length😊
Hello, i will try this tutorial thank you! Do you know the total length of yarn rhis project need?
If you have to do a 4th row, do you crochet 1 dc, then 2dc the same as before?
i would assume so, because you’re increasing the circle
@@itsmebri1645Thank you 👍

What if the bottle has a handle?
What if the bottle you have has a point where it gets wider, like those yeti cups with the straws?
For that, I'm pretty sure you can modify the bottom circle to make it however big you need it, then do the mesh part to however high you want it. I'm not totally sure though.
Can I use two colors
Awesome ❤thank you 😊
Me: Quickly googling "double crochet" lol
Oh my gosh! That looked like Howard the duck
Ty now I now how to do this😊
My string was thin as well so I unraveled the whole thing looking for the other end but know I can’t find both and I just have a huge pile of knot
I just did with my thin yarnn💀
If idont have the tapestry needle can i still do this tutorial bottle holder ???
Sure. Just pull through with the hook 😊
Made this today! Thank you for the clear tutorial enjoyed it thoroughly

Bro what if I can't find the end yarn
Just checking are you using UK crochet terms? Xx
she's using US terms
does it still work if i don’t double my yarn even though my yarn is quite thin
Yes it works
tysm for replying i can finally start this project now@@Ma_rsha2014
What if the bottle gets narrower to the top how do l make the mesh narrow..kindly help
Can someone explain how to the strap i just cand understand what she is doing
I have an other tutorial on my page where I show how to do this romanian cord very slowly.
Hello, where can I get the crochet pattern for this? Thank you
I have not made the pattern yet ❤️
im stuck with the "little loop" at the start of the strap its frustrating
I followed the pattern, but when I insert my water the mesh sags ? I don’t know what happened, I followed the tutorial correctly.
i don't understand the cord
สวยมาก
i don't know what is wrong with my mine it is increasing in the bottom not in height why ?
Is this on purpose?

I was so happy i could do this until the end. You never shouldve used how you weave in the end of the strap. Mine looks horrible now
