Is it wrong that I, someone who has yet to see this movie (Taking superhero movie break for a bit is why. When you end big I kind of want to relax) really has no problem with Modok? He's always been a silly looking villian to me, as always look redicilous, and was always a lame villian. I think the only time I gave him any kind of credit was Armored Adventures. Edited to add: This is something that even Pitch Meeting brings up...why do people think that just because a multiverse exsists means that "There are no stakes" and that "You can just replace a person from world B if person from World A dies." No, no you can't. That person will have the different experiences, different emotions, and different feelings than the person from world A. You could pick a person from World B sure, but he might come from a timeline where he decided that he actually HATES children and wants nothing to do with your kid. You could pick the same person from World C and you just hit he evil one who planned to kill you. Just as there are countless variations of people out there, there is countless variations of a single person in the multiverse. You would think that after Into the Spider-verse showed no less than 7 variations of Spidey, two of wich were named the same guy with the only two differences being alive and not seperated, you would think people would get this. Let me say this, loud for the people in the back... JUST BECAUSE YOU PICK THE SAME PERSON FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSE DOES NOT MAKE HIM THE SAME GUY! All you are doing is just grabbing a random person from that universe and depriving THAT universe of the individual you just kidnapped.
I mean, at this point, I thought Guardians 3 kinda proved that. They brought Gamora back from 2014 into our timeline, and she's a very different person. She doesn't love Quill, she is aggressive, selfish, and wants nothing to do with the rest of the Guardians.
You bastard, you had me so confused with that Shang Chi beacon thing at the end. Made me think I missed something huge for a couple seconds there. Also keep doing you man. I personally have some negative opinions on some newer Marvel stuff, but I still keep coming back because they're just fun.
Time to shrink with these favorite sins: 1) You padding the sin count, bro? 2) Well, they are from San Francisco 3) There are absolutely not.Literally, count them, dude 4) Bro, see a doctor. 5) Thinking that it's not 6) That's what they said 7) Yes, moving on 8) What does something being boring have to do with it portraying power? 9) It's called "NUMBERS", Jeremy Sentence: Into the Quantum Realm!!
On the "the movies are not addressing the consequences of the blip topic" the villains of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the Flag Smashers (great post-punk band name btw) literally are people who were displaced by the blip but oh no they are actually violent.
You know the single from Shang Chi could quit possibly be from Kang , cause when they first showed the trailer of Ant-man and Wasp Quantumania there was a strange tech object that resembled the ten rings coincidence I think not , then again it could be well just have to wait and see .
Man, hope you'll cover his EWW Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves soon, dude comes off as a rules lawyer who barely understands the rules to begin with, much less the lore.
I few stuff I gotta agreed about the impact of the film. Saw it in cinema, found it but choppy but still enjoyed it. Found it baffling from folks hating it for the sake of it and trying hard to make it look political or whatever is considered m-she-u because they got nothing. But I do have some respects to those who understand film making and has passion for storytelling and may find it disappoint that it holds great ideas but was cut dry or extend scenes that is to pad the runtime. Tbh, I didn’t realize it’s like some kind f the previous films that good thing ends up resulting something bad like how you point out that Endgame brought half of the universe back but didn’t think about the current state, meaning we should’ve forgive the past phase a some unnecessary hate as they been passing down details and scenarios since the first film.
"imagine instantly transporting 7 years into the future and a loved one that wasnt snapped died and people have moved on but you havent" The fact that i just finished ace attorney trials and tribulations is such a god damn coincidence
I loved this movie. If you go into this film expecting end game level you will be disappointed. It’s an ant man movie and they’re comedies. They’re supposed to funny and quirky.
I don't think a song fits better with a movie than Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. (Exaggerating but still.) The vibe I get from the song PERFECTLY fits the Quantum Realm and Kang himself. Until then, I see it as Kang's theme
As someone born and raised in Hell Michigan, I am offended sir! How dare you say my home town isn't real? And for the record last winter it got to -5 degrees so yes, it does freeze over occasionally.
16:06 how he's talking is like Owlman in the dc animated movie crisis on infinite earths (I think that's it) "the only action that would have any consequence is destroying everything" I only realised that after watching this
I have watched this video a few times, and one thing Jeremy said kept bothering me. He complains about Janet "cheating" on Hank because she was in the Quantum Realm for *Thirty Years.* Then he compares that to Helen Hunt in *Cast Away* and says "at least she waited." Here's what bothered me. Janet was stuck in the Quantum Realm THIRTY YEARS!!! But Tom Hanks was only gone *FOUR Years.* When Tom Hanks got back *again, FOUR YEARS LATER,* not only was she married, but she had a kid that was 18 months old! Do the 🤬 math, Jeremy!
also in the movie hank doesn't hold it over her head since he admits that he "cheated" by moving on like janet did, and they are happy in modern times, the movie makes it pretty clear that it was not that big of a deal since they had bigger problems at the moment, jeremy was making a mountain out of an anthill (pun intended)
I assumed that the baskin Scott was a Scott who works at baskin and got dragged along on the adventure too even without his suit, but still agreed to try to get the core by bluffing or something. He figured he would just hope for the best… haha
around 3 minutes in and you give me the most based take on the mcu ever. Like, these are exactly my thoughts! I'm saying this as someone who enjoyed the mcu phases pretty equally til now. I have favourites and movies I don't like from all overthe phases. And after watching Quantumania before hearing of the criticisms and Love and Thunder after hearing of the criticisms, it really just cemented in my head 'watch the movies yourself and just have a good time. Don't decide what to think of a movie you didnt see based on criticisms online'.
As someone who didn’t like this movie, it is incredible how little Jeremy critiques this movie in a notable way. On a side note, I do have one question. I thought in the first movie they established once you’re in the quantum realm you can’t get smaller in the first movie. Am I just being dumb here and making something up or is that true?
they said once you go to the quantum realm there's no coming back. they didn't make a definitive statement about how Pym particles work *inside* the Quantum Realm because they knew absolutely nothing *about* the Quantum Realm. They didn't even think Janet was still alive until the end of the movie when Scott managed to escape
Ive been waiting for this. I loved this movie. I dont indersyand why people hated it. But watching this made it clear that im not alone in e joying this movie. But im probably alone in Liking Thor 4 and the Avengers Game...... i thought it was fun...
Unpopular opinion: I actually didn’t hate MODOK’s design in the movie and glad they made his look more accurate to the comics. While yes the choice they did to make Yellowjacket to become MODOK is very questionable (I mean to be fair it’s been hinted before that he would return like this) I’m very glad they didn’t go for his design like in the Avengers game.
@@RenaldyCalixte bro got exploded he couldn’t come back from that. I do think it should have been someone from AIM but bro was gone. Yellowjacket at least had the possibility to come back, what with the quantum realm and all.
*''While yes the choice they did to make Yellowjacket to become MODOK is very questionable''* not at all. he is an amalgam character, which mcu have plenty ever since phase one
This is why I watch both your and Jeremy's videos in addition to New Rockstar's breakdowns, so I can get what I miss while getting my laughs and I do like you pointed out the same thing I did to Jeremy about Cassie's comment about Yellowjacket was about her life not being normal (as much as I like his videos his scene manipulations like that do get on my nerves)
24:08 Legit tells me that Jeremy has never played DND. A strong PC can be taken down by enough goblins. There's a reason why spells like conjure animal is pretty strong.
A lot of people complained about how the film treated MODAK...and I have to wonder what were they expecting? MODAK was originally a joke villain and almost every other version of him that I have seen in various media has had characters make jokes about him and his appearance. Well, except for the Avengers game, but that game was ass.
6:44 yes Jeremy this question was asked and done with in Falcon and the Winter Soldier but none of you watched that so of course you had no idea they talked about that
I honestly don't know how you sit through these videos to sin them. It sucks how finding genuine continuity errors & eagle-eyed mistakes has devolved into just asking stupid questions in a whiny voice
The only thing I'm mad about when this film is modok. Not because he's too ugly. I can see plain as day that the producers through hell trying to make modok look good in the same way other villains look good. The problem is modok isn't a bad outdated design. His superpower is being absurdly ugly. You can't have a correct design and also make him look good. EMBRACE the uggo! That's why the modok animation was so good. THEY got the character. Weirdly enough Michael Bay is the one who one upped modok with Krang. Krang was adapted pitch perfect. Just an ugly little sac in a robot with the voice of Raymond's brother? Mwah! Cinematic perfection! And much better than Shreddertron
As you say in the video I don’t think the mcu has gotten worse but I can admit that some of it isn’t great in my opinion but it’s the same for other phases like the first two Thor movies weren’t great to me. I can also understand the problems with some of the movies/series like the end of secret invasion leaving an extremely powerful character on the loose but I thought the majority of the series was good and I’m sure they have a plan for her in later movies/series.
What I'm concerned about is the fact that they're putting pym particles on food. Which is then going inside somebody's body. Wouldn't that make the peoples organs enlarge
2:02 love people mad about shuri being black panther….which 100% happened YEARS ago in the comics even lol am I burnt on marvel? A little but that’s literally just me 🤷🏼♂️
Gotta love how he’s like “the world wouldn’t be as crazy for the people who left outside of ‘hey you married someone new’ type things” and then proceeds to talk about hunger, homelessness, and more. You know, things that would affect a large population of people whose homes and jobs were taken during, I dunno, a 5 year period where they vanished off the face of the earth? I didn’t watch Falcon vs. Winter Soldier but I always assumed the Blipped folks would be the ones getting the shaft just by merit of the people who stayed behind having 5 years in those jobs and homes and spaces.
hey nice, you used the same example i did when i commented on his video about "blowing up" the core. Honey I Blew Up The Kid . cuz he bases so much of his "sins" on that fact he misunderstands..
This movie was honestly better than ant man 2 to me, especially with Kang. He MADE the movie. I will admit, the thing that really bugged me was MODOK. Not only was he needed hard, but the last minute redemption seemed so forced. Not only are they redeeming MODOK, the last time we saw him, he tried to kill a child just to anger her dad. I was all in favor of redeeming villains in No Way Home, but not every villain deserves or needs a last minute saving grace.
My running theory is that Jeremy is just not watching the movie thus why his script is redundant, However it still sucks that they possibly cut scenes out of context on purpose.
And also imagine the plot of land for a completely average summer-conical house but now the house is shrinking and then several houses can fit on one Property if I even an entire city
When are you gonna come down? When are you going to land?

9) It's called "NUMBERS", Jeremy
Sentence: Into the Quantum Realm!!
On the "the movies are not addressing the consequences of the blip topic"
the villains of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the Flag Smashers (great post-punk band name btw) literally are people who were displaced by the blip but oh no they are actually violent.
You know the single from Shang Chi could quit possibly be from Kang , cause when they first showed the trailer of Ant-man and Wasp Quantumania there was a strange tech object that resembled the ten rings coincidence I think not , then again it could be well just have to wait and see .
3:26 As someone from Jersey city, I appreciate your lack of acknowledgement
Man, hope you'll cover his EWW Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves soon, dude comes off as a rules lawyer who barely understands the rules to begin with, much less the lore.
Not caught up with the show yet, but somehow stumbled upon this less than a minute after upload. I shall see you all again in like...a week~!
Waking up to a new Birdman video. Today's a good day indeed
"imagine instantly transporting 7 years into the future and a loved one that wasnt snapped died and people have moved on but you havent"
The fact that i just finished ace attorney trials and tribulations is such a god damn coincidence
I loved this movie. If you go into this film expecting end game level you will be disappointed. It’s an ant man movie and they’re comedies. They’re supposed to funny and quirky.
19:45 missed opportunity for a "comedy movie. Paul Rudd"
I don't think a song fits better with a movie than Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. (Exaggerating but still.)
The vibe I get from the song PERFECTLY fits the Quantum Realm and Kang himself.
Until then, I see it as Kang's theme
I loved the opening response to the first sin in the video.
Missed the birdman. Just came home as soon as they gave me my phone back I was on TH-cam watching him clown Jeremy. 😂
babe wake up, Th3Birdman posted😍
Stop being cringey 🫥
As someone born and raised in Hell Michigan, I am offended sir! How dare you say my home town isn't real? And for the record last winter it got to -5 degrees so yes, it does freeze over occasionally.
16:06 how he's talking is like Owlman in the dc animated movie crisis on infinite earths (I think that's it) "the only action that would have any consequence is destroying everything" I only realised that after watching this
That first 3 minutes was very cathartic.
My girl woke me up just to curse me out and block me…jokes on her though cause now I can watch some early morning Birdman
Couldn't sleep this whole night, thanks for the vid. I know it's alot of work. Stay working, be safe, and above all. keep it real
I learned of M.O.D.O.K from Ultimate Alliance
Ive been waiting for this. I loved this movie. I dont indersyand why people hated it. But watching this made it clear that im not alone in e joying this movie. But im probably alone in Liking Thor 4 and the Avengers Game...... i thought it was fun...
Its the cool thing to do, and the loud minortiy is called that for a reason. I cant say much about the Avengers Game but i liked T4 aswell.
I think he should have had been more wrinkly, but besides that he’s perfectly designed.
@@RenaldyCalixte bro got exploded he couldn’t come back from that. I do think it should have been someone from AIM but bro was gone. Yellowjacket at least had the possibility to come back, what with the quantum realm and all.
*''While yes the choice they did to make Yellowjacket to become MODOK is very questionable''*
not at all. he is an amalgam character, which mcu have plenty ever since phase one
Nice remix of yellow brick road! Great video as usual.
24:08
Legit tells me that Jeremy has never played DND.
A strong PC can be taken down by enough goblins.
There's a reason why spells like conjure animal is pretty strong.
13:50 god Everytime I remember that game happened I get pissed
The intro SFX lining up with that heavenly remix of “Yellow Brick Road” was the best thing to happen in the history of humanity
The theory is that the rings are tech one of the Kangs made so, yes, you can be right
Great choices for the opening...Was really digging it
A lot of people complained about how the film treated MODAK...and I have to wonder what were they expecting? MODAK was originally a joke villain and almost every other version of him that I have seen in various media has had characters make jokes about him and his appearance. Well, except for the Avengers game, but that game was ass.
6:44 yes Jeremy this question was asked and done with in Falcon and the Winter Soldier but none of you watched that so of course you had no idea they talked about that
I appreciate you! Have a great day
I honestly don't know how you sit through these videos to sin them.
HAS to be the best opening you've ever had.
A single celled organisim isn't a whale! A whale is trillions of those things Xs ten.
Jesus either jeremy's eyes pour like fucking rain water or he shoots fucking sniper rifle shots everytime he sleeps with his ex sist- *ding*
Hot take; Quantumania wasn't bad. IMO, it's one of the better movies since Endgame (excluding No Way Home, of course)
The Birdman taking a crap on right on Cinema Sins head while flying above. I Love it LOL!
What about the people who played that amazing Marvel game? We know MODOK too...(hated that fight as a kid lol)
i think they should've kept the original ending with scott being stuck in the quantum realm
just watched this movie on my lunch break today and couldn't wait to see this vid...you really put a lot of things into perspective
hey nice, you used the same example i did when i commented on his video about "blowing up" the core. Honey I Blew Up The Kid . cuz he bases so much of his "sins" on that fact he misunderstands..
"It will be a cold day in hell when i call twitter X"
Stan voice: "Well acktually, hell is a place in norway, so it freezes over annually."
3:14 *slam hands onto desk* Thank you! Glad I'm not the only one that sees through the griffers bd
Gdamn I love me some Th3Birdman!!!
I still like this movie! It might not be the strongest movie of the MCU, but it does grow on me!
I just need to share my thoughts on Murdok: he looks like the egg from puss in boots
Never stop making videos like this man.
Seriously, never stop because it's cool.
lmao I almost believed the beacons in Shang-Chi line for a sec
6:45 dude blatantly forgets how this was one of the main plots in Falcon and the winter Soldier.
We still call her a terrorist tho.
I meant Modok was nerfed, not needed
I don’t have much time to watch movies, I do not watch Cinema Sins to make up for it, I watch your videos.
Keep up the good work man
My running theory is that Jeremy is just not watching the movie thus why his script is redundant, However it still sucks that they possibly cut scenes out of context on purpose.
And also imagine the plot of land for a completely average summer-conical house but now the house is shrinking and then several houses can fit on one Property if I even an entire city
Loved this video.
I totally missed the part where Hank Pym pulled an Akira Slide
Feel like you turned into Dababy and just when the beat(Video) drops, you go straight in!!! 😂✊🏾
I had to stop the video in the middle, that tear ducts joke made me laugh SO HARD
"SO WHAT" DFL LOVE YOU BRO
