    I love how when Jeremy was talking about drax speaking his native language he calls him an idiot. Drax is not dumb, he is foreign, his culture and history is different. He takes things literally because it's how his people are. I am a native English speaker, I live in the United States, and there is a stigma about people who speak broken English, they are seen as stupid. They aren't stupid, they simply are trying to communicate

    • @theflaminglitten-fo6jd

      People who speak broken english are smarter than people who only know how to speak english and thats just a fact. they know their own language just as well as you know your main language, but on top of that they are trying to speak a whole different language entirely. they objectively know more than you even if their second language isnt perfect its still their SECOND language, if you only know 1 you dont get to criticize someone who knows 1.5

He sins when there are logos, he sins when there aren't logos, he sins when there is narration, when the movie doesn't explain things, when the movie DOES explain, he goes show not tell, and when you do that he goes 'tell not show', he sins for personal grievances, etc. Instead of sinemasins his channel should be 'Everything that annoys me about this movie, the industry and life in general' at least that would be honest

    12:50 People are giving star-lord a lot of blame for what he did in the movie. However, this kind of reaction fits his character perfectly.
    Throughout his previous films, we have seen how emotional and unstable he can be when it comes to the people he loves. We have also seen how stupid or reckless he can get when it comes to Gamora or her mother. It is quite normal for him to do this when he hears that the woman he loved has died.
    Now you can say that half the universe has been destroyed because of this, there is no excuse for this.
    But let's also remember that star-lord had serious daddy issues. He grew up without a father. The person he knew closest to a father figure throughout his life was Yondu, and he was a pirate who kidnapped Peter 10 minutes after his mother's death, constantly threatened to eat him, and beat him so that he would learn to fight. His real father first won his heart and then confessed that he killed his mother and tried to use him as an energy battery.
    What I mean is that maybe what star-lord did in the movie may be a serious psychological problem rather than a simple emotional outburst. Maybe the fact that Gamora was killed by her own father might have reminded him for a moment of how EGO was going to waste him for its own sick purposes and caused him to lose control.

    Okay, so, I'm commenting before watching the actual video, but I just had to go ahead and say this. This is the most excited I have ever been to see that I have a notification about a new video on this channel, and possibly for any TH-cam video being uploaded.
    I really can't overstate how much I loved this movie. The original Guardians film was my introduction to the MCU, and my favorite director listed it as one of his favorite movies. And of course it's one of my favorites as well. I saw Volume 3 10 times in theaters during its release, and I never got bored or tired of it, I was always excited and ready to see it again. And I still picked up new things with each watch. And I also recently moved to Atlanta, so watching this video and rewatching the movie is even better now.
    In short, I love this movie, it's my favorite of the year and one of my all time favorites, and I don't think this video could have come at a better time. A new video on one of my favorite films by one of my favorites TH-camrs on Christmas morning is honestly an amazing present.

    3:33 Having a dog that can talk via technology goes back way further than that in sci-fi history. Earliest I can think of is in Inspector Gadget, but I'm sure there are earlier examples. Did Wishbone ever talk with his people via technology?

    14:25 Also note that CinemaSins complains about the Guardians not knowing about OrgoCorp already, yet earlier he said it was unlikely Nebula could have a nearby contact because space is unfathomably big, even using the Hitchhiker's quote to explain it. So in the same video, Jeremy says space is too big to contact other people efficiently, but everyone in the universe should know about a corporation operating in it.

  • @GreyeHazel
    @GreyeHazel ปีที่แล้ว +9

    At this point I think Cinemasins is just working backwards. He sees a movie he likes, then has to make up sins to give it even if the movie is amazing because he wants to sin literally every big movie for that sweet sweet money. I think it'd work if he just, idk, broke formula for movies he likes instead of just sinning movies like Guardians 3 or Spiderverse with no real critisism to levy. But, if he did that he'd just be doing CinemaWins and we already have that channel and that guy is awesome

    • @GreyeHazel
      @GreyeHazel ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the hard thing is most movies fraught with mistakes are bad, or unpopular, or not literally the most trending movies of the year. Sinning B movies and indie horror and experimental films that didn't quite hit the mark doesn't stimulate the algorithm.

    As an AroAce individual, the idea that lust and flirtation is required for a romantic relationship doesn’t seem… completely accurate, but I understand your claim that they’re linked.
    As a whole, the definition of a relationship can be incredibly varied, so working with absolutes of “for x relationship to happen, y has to happen” isn’t really simple.

    Do any of you think like Schaffrillas Productions that the High Evolutionary represents what the Disney corporation is now as James Gunn's revenge on them for initially firing him before he was brought back to finish his Marvel trilogy before he reboots the DC universe to hopefully be better than it probably was before?

    I am so glad that people are finally tuning out of Cinema Sins and all their other channels. They haven’t broken a million views on a video in a year, with 9+ million subs. They are mean spirited, lazy, nitpickers. I’m glad their formula doesn’t work anymore. While Screen Junkies (Honest Trailers) is doing better with 2 million less subs.

    9:34 lets also not forget those who are fans also complaining when they add some parts of the comics in then get mad its not the exact same story they already read and know. like cmon lmao its not warcraft the stories were already written well so we dont need movies to tell known stories thats why the mcu is its own "universe" thats part of the multiverse.

    15:04 to your point about it being cheaper and more efficient to grow equipment instead of building it, a perfect example: OLED TVs. Though OLEDs are the most expensive TVs to buy, they are the cheapest TVs to make, as the "O" in OLED stands for organic, they're growing the screens. In order to do this, you need a COMPLETELY new plant to make the TV's which is why the TVs are the most expensive but it's also why you see the prices of OLED TVs go down so rapidly because the manufacturer has to recoup the cost of the plant but once they do it's mostly profit. A few years ago a 55 inch OLED would cost over 2K while now you can find them for under 1K on sale. Great observation!
