Brother you have come so far from plan two five! I love watching your videos because I feel like we were pretty equal when you started and watching where you've come from is exciting cuz I know I can get there as always thank you sir
Well, he didn't know 100% he was beat. He still had an overpair to a disconnected board plus the nut flush draw. Only against a flush is he a big dog here. Even if his opponent has two pairs or a set, he's got some decent equity in the pot. Then there is the matter of the meta game. If he folds AA here and his opponents realize he can be pushed so easily from a one pair hand then they are going to start abusing him. You have to draw a line and this was a good time to show he can't be bluffed.
This is a great video and I think you made the correct play 90% of the time! Take that money to the WSOP and make videos and hopefully win a bracelet! 😎👍
On that last hand it was a mistake to go for the polarizing overbet on the river when you put your opponents most likely on a one pair hand because they are only calling if they have you beat. You could have got them for a 600-700 dollar value bet. You already had most of the table stung for a lot of money so going for the throat in this situation is a bad idea.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing when you put a big dent like that out there they're only going to call you if they have you beat also when you value that you also risk being raised sometimes it's better to check back other times value bed but you can't bet big there that's for sure you're just asking for trouble
Hi Lex, I have been a subscriber and have been watching your videos since pretty close to when you started. Great job with your content. I’m just curious, you said in this video you rely on around 50% of your income from playing poker. Where does the other 50% come from? Thanks very much, and keep up the great work! Greg
That last hand last bet was scary. I dont think you can get value with all in from any 10X hands or even over pairs. Flushed missed and your two pair now aren’t top two. I think the only hands that call are the one beating you like 10 7 of heart, may be some weird 6-7? Definitely can’t get call by worse taking such a strong line betting 3 street
The 65s hand where you flopped two pair. There was $1300 in the pot in the turn. I know you're supposed to bet smaller multi-way, but i agree that $525 was too small. Like you said, you had to fade the entire deck, but you probably had way the best equity. I'd go $800 maybe even $900. If they both fold 20% equity, that's a great outcome. If one folds, you clean up some outs. If they both call 🤷♀️ you got value while you "knew" you were ahead.
I like your blogs, Lex and appreciate your transparency. You have some great emotional control with poor swings. My criticism is that I think that you talk yourself into some terrible calls and play exceptionally loose. I've watched dozens of your videos so I feel like I have a decent sense of your style. You seem to really enjoy the high-variance route...
Hey Lex, you mentioned that about half of your income comes from poker. Without getting into specific amounts, can you share where other income comes from? Thanks and really enjoy your content.
I only watched the first two hands but I think you have to bet your aces on the 2nd hand...3 players the board's a little bit dangerous you can't let them draw for free at least half pot
2:20 i paused the video so i dont know what happened yet but how can you be confident he doesn't have 78 of clubs? Edit, i just watched the outcome and i would of been so pissed if i was that ghy. Sucked out on
Hit flops, had monster hands pre flop and bet sizing was very good.some of these comments had to come from players who aren't close to playing at your level
Why every time the flop comes out you say the same thing, he could have a set he could have an over pair lol. Remember you said you’re not scared of monsters under the bed anymore lol
Knew u had to have another source of income because u started out grinding at 1,2 making 15 a hr.hard to support yourself on that unless you played 400 hrs a month
Yeah I don’t play these stakes, just got back from a 1/2 game shoved for £87 with AQ over a £15 raise and a call in a straddled pot. Original raiser just flicks in the extra £72 with J8dd. Clearly J8 wins lol rip
You deserve more subscribers Rex. You are the hardest working poker vlogger. Keep up the good work
love how u took a break after a big week loss refreshed to grind again nice come backk
So glad to see you’re back on the upswing! keep grinding!
Lex, your bet seizing is impeccable this vlog! Pura Vida from Costa Rica!
Happy to see you on the upswing Lex. Looking forward to the next one!
Brother you have come so far from plan two five! I love watching your videos because I feel like we were pretty equal when you started and watching where you've come from is exciting cuz I know I can get there as always thank you sir
Back on that winning streak, nicely done!
Running good , keep grinding brother ! 🍻
You got huge value in the AQ hand and the last 1 was a doozy as well... Great comeback session brother, well done & congrats
Nice work, Lex. Thanks for the content!
Love to see you 📈 on the session. Good job brother!
That $1k re-raise on AK offsuit was a smart play.
i liked the outro today brother. congrats on the win
Hot session man! Nice!
Great vlog and content!! Nice hands abd coming on top. Thanks for posting. Peace!
It always feels good to win after a long loss streak.. Happy for you
Great bounce back, Lex, keep er rollin!
Nice run good on that vlog!!!
Nice job Lex hope your winning continues 😊
Nice time to run good. It has to feel good after some bad luck.
3:09 made the villain RAGE QUIT lol😂
Ran like God. About time. Well done.
If I know I’m beat I’m never giving $1100 worth of action just because the person splashes around
These loose action calls are a sure way to extend your losing streak. Stop it
Silly comment....You know you're losing pretty much every time you bluff.
@@brandonkelly3275 he was bluff catching, not bluffing and he knew he was beat, just being a ‘nice guy’, don’t understand your comment at all
Well, he didn't know 100% he was beat. He still had an overpair to a disconnected board plus the nut flush draw. Only against a flush is he a big dog here. He didn't give it away he was hoping to hit... So what if he said otherwise
This is a great video and I think you made the correct play 90% of the time! Take that money to the WSOP and make videos and hopefully win a bracelet! 😎👍
He doesn't go to WSOP because he thinks Vegas games are too tough
Well done fam will be seeing you in the 5300 shrpo main event keep it up fam
You need come to Lexington ,KY to bunch home games an tourny, casinos close by as well,
Love your videos Lex nice win 😅
Lex I think I know which building you live is it called one plantation? I do work over there lol
I've been to the oasis twice, but you were there 3 times! I should be so lucky.

I’m in the middle of a Lex downswing right now. Get it in with 80-90% each time and get coolered. So painful lol

Congrats!! :) :) :)
NICE JOB!
for the last hand lex, IMO it should be 1/4 or 1/3 bet on the river because its 3 way pot and you show so much strength.
Monster cards‼️®️™️🔥🔥
where do you place your phone without people looking at it, and potentionally seeing your hand?
You go Lex!!!
Good one Lex😁
Keep your dad in line Rouge. Make him take you out more. It helps him run good.
On the AA vs JJ hand. On the turn, would a 20% pot bet be worth it?
Nice won bro
Way to go bro

Nice come back
Nice rebound!
Can only imagine when you said you get thousands shipped your way at the end

Shipping it in behind is not a downswing fishcakes
Lex O poker algorithm
Niceness fam...
*lookin like a "sun-run"...? 😏🤗
PS, you let your dog play with a little "rat"...? 😉
Hey lex, you said that poker makes up 50% of your income. What’s the other 50%? Cross fit, training, etc?
Obv youtube$$$
What do you do for the other 50% of income ?
Well man, i think your a solid lower/mid stakes cash player, VS Soft lineups, NLHE only. Scout your games well Sir.
I like your blogs, Lex and appreciate your transparency. You have some great emotional control with poor swings. 👏🏻what’s the other source of income lex?
You should play with Rampage and Mariano at Resort worlds
LFGO!!!!Lex!!!!!
Hey Lex, you mentioned that about half of your income comes from poker. Without getting into specific amounts, can you share where other income comes from?
Thanks and really enjoy your content.
I’m sure TH-cam is a good chunk of it.
Gotta love getting smacked in the face with the deck like that! Great rebound
Awsome...=-)
I only watched the first two hands but I think you have to bet your aces on the 2nd hand...3 players the board's a little bit dangerous you can't let them draw for free at least half pot
You makes t’call for my heart Lex
WOW! 👏
I'm pretty sure I've never put $800 in the pot knowing that I have 15% equity before. I'm a fan of this vlog, but that Aces hand was a total OOF.
Variance!
Rock n roll
What’s other 50 percent your income
2:51. V must've told his friend: _he shoves the turn with pair of 66 and 8 kicker??? Rivered two pairs. What an idiot?!!_
V did not play much better, either. ! 110% flop dunk bet into 1 opponent with a pair of 99??
Hey lex 'poker makes me over 50% of my yearly income' wats the other income if u dnt mind me askin 😊
YOU MAKE THE GAME LOOK DIFFICULT
Keep giving free cards............brilliant!
Who da fook 2 chip shuffles???
Cha'alt!
2:20 i paused the video so i dont know what happened yet but how can you be confident he doesn't have 78 of clubs?
Edit, i just watched the outcome and i would of been so pissed if i was that ghy. Sucked out on
LOve how vloggers talk about blockers. You block straights with 1 card but don't block AK with 2 aces. I know you have to make it interesting but....
Last hand…you only get called by better hands. Check.
Hit flops, had monster hands pre flop and bet sizing was very good.some of these comments had to come from players who aren't close to playing at your level
I dunno if it was full donk mode. IMO, that was a pretty nice call by that guy with A9 that or he was just trying to make an exit and didn't care how.
first hand was no semi bluff it was a complete donk play u didnt deserve to win
“U didn’t deserve to win” bro chill, holly shit.
Cry Little kid cry
I dont agree. Opponent played bad because with A9 that is just not a call. He still had outs he hit em so overall a good play.
Down 17k annnnnd let’s open 86s
Donkey moves lose money usually
First hand was not bluff worthy 😮 ...
Blog is very entertaining.Lex doesn’t have kids and can take the swings in poker.
Slow playing aces never works lol
Why every time the flop comes out you say the same thing, he could have a set he could have an over pair lol. Remember you said you’re not scared of monsters under the bed anymore lol
✅️
Bro you deserved to lose that pit with aces. Check the flop with an over pair and 2 diamonds on the board….?
Don’t you ever hang out with friends?
complete amateur play on the first two hands
Promo*SM 🤭
Knew u had to have another source of income because u started out grinding at 1,2 making 15 a hr.hard to support yourself on that unless you played 400 hrs a month
You play far too good to "get your money back" Lex. Today is the first day of the rest of your life and short term memory is advised hehe.
Everyone knew she had a flush already, you complain about losing 17K but then call when you shouldnt to "give action"..........lol
Toooooooo much analysis.
5:38

When you win someone else loses can't always win
👍
