I love your channel. I'm a poker player and my nickname is KK. I love your hat. Also saw Dr. Eli on Hustler live had one. If you wouldn't mind telling me where to get one, I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks!!!!
Well done. You play emaculantly for three days until the big mistake at the end when you fold AJ, seems like and ista-jam, but I guess you were after that pay jump.
Thats a hell of a run for a cash game player! Get yourself a nice recliner its definitely worth it. Looks like u got a similar sofa to the one im getting monday from Ikea.
AJ was definately a shove. That was a great spot to triple up. Early position opener was a big stack so he could be opening light and the caller wasn't that strong since he didn't raise so AJ was a great spot to get some chips.
It 's probably bad but I don't think calling there was super bad if your nervous to go busto. You have a shoving hand and that's probably the correct play, but calling there if you completely wiff flop you still have 8 bigs to limp a long some more. You don't have fold equity with a 10 BB stack so shoving vs calling I see no difference except garunteeing the pot size b4 flop.
It still amazes me how over 2000 people, most of them average Joes, in a local area just have $3500 sitting around to blow on a tournament. I get hives and question my sanity when buying into $120 tourneys.
Some people value money differently too. Money isn't everything. $3500 is worth some entertainment and a chance to win a million dollars for a lot of people (even though the chance that these people come in first isn't really feasible given the structure of this tournament).
When you bink a large tournament, you’re hooked! It happened to me and I’ve been playing full time ever since! Awesome video and sending some run good juju over your way ✌️not a bad run brother!!
This was a dope video. It felt good to follow you through all the action. I enjoy tournament vlogs and any vlog with your level of thought can be as long as it needs to be. I'll be watching.
I’m the infamous words of @fishpoker , Hell Freakin Yeah! Great job brother. For someone who isn’t a tournament player you do very well. The difference in the mentality between you and @Rampagepoker in reguards on what to do in tournaments is outstanding. Hey, tripling your tournament cash winnings, nothing wrong with that at all. I think I’m the hand when you had AJ off suit with the bigger stacks I would have shoved there. I think shoving was the move with the number of BB you had. But hey, folding worked out for you and you moved up one more pay scale. Once again great job!
Great job Lex! As someone who just won a tourney, to make the final table you got to loosen up your play. When the blinds get big you got to get involved with hands and try to steal the blinds. Tourney poker is. Bout accumulating chips so you can lean on smaller stacks and make yours bigger. Get involved in more hands will benefit you in the long run because if your opponents think your a tight-ass player, you’ll get no action on your premium hands. Players who know me know I just as likely to make a big bet to steal a pot than to have it. That way when I have it, I get paid off. Do the same, it will benefit you also! Most of all, get a picture of your dog, put it in a holder and use it as a good luck charm in tourney’s…..Rouge will never do you wrong!!
Dude I got so hype for you during this video. You do a great job with cards, the video, and connecting with your supporters. Congratulations on the win. You deserve it!
Lex. This popped up on my phone just as I was walking out the door to go get some paint before the store closed. Wanted to watch it right away, but couldn't. When I did watch it last night I thought "Way to go Lex!" I love playing tournaments and know how hard it is to make it that far. Glad to see you made it to 40+ K subscribers. Maybe you'll hit 100K by the end of the year! Great VLOG!
I like your honesty in your self assessment at the end of the video. You ran deep and played well but still recognize that you had much more learning to do. With that mindset and your skill set I think u will do very well in tournaments. I’m also primarily a cash game grinder who also caught the tournament bug so I can relate a lot to you. Gluck Lex. Hope we meet one day on the felt!
Great stuff lex. Right at beginning of video but super excited to watch. Love your content have been watching since about 5000 subscribers! Keep it up💪
Interesting to hear your mindset in cash games vs. tournaments. So true. Great video - thanks for showing some of the hands you let go too. That helps understand your level of patience. Come back up to MGM in DC or LIVE sometime and have a meet up game!
Nice Job! Looked like you had a few time chips left. When you are small stacked and looking to ladder up, use those suckers. Might seem nitty, but it's part of the game in bigger tourneys. Could be thousands of dollars you left on the felt by holding and not using those time chips.
Lex, I play mostly tourneys, and actually watch your videos mostly to get better at the cash tables. I appreciated this video a lot. Your self analysis was spot on, which is half the battle to getting better. I'm very impressed with your cash since you dont play tourneys often, nice work.
Thanks Lex that was fun to watch love to see you mix it up from time to time with a tournament congrats on getting that far we know Rogue isn't a fan of tournaments because of the time it takes but he knows you love him until next time I'll see you
Well Lex, Gratz on the deep run!!!! That was so great to watch. My favorite part that touched my heart was the first greeting with Rouge. You can tell he really loves you. Again, congrats brother 👏.
You were on the table with Kitty Kou, a well known pro. She was in seat 2 in the Vlog. I forgot to write down the timestamp. I think it was day 2, but not sure without rewatching.
Hey awesome content as usual. Insane run at the tournament. That AK vs 9's hand was intense. Glad you made the money and went even further. 81 out of 2000 is amazing. Great job!
Bro I absolutely loved this video. I played the 3500 buy in at the hard Rock last year, made it to 116th. Great job man! Definitely had my anxiety up with how you structured the video lol
Congratulations! You did so well. How gruelling it must be to be focussed for all those hours. I just subscribed! 10K man, that is so cool. You are just getting better and better. You should be so proud. Love your work : )
We appreciate you at all times Lex in the cash games but this one here was epic. You ran good and picked your right spots for a non tournament player. Awesome job Lex. Your thee man.
I knew you had to have been a fellow wrestler! I've watched every one of your videos, but don't remember you mentioning that you wrestled. When I saw your first video, you immediately reminded me of my roommate from the University of Illinois in 2001(Matt Lackey) He went 38-0 that year in 165lb. He was a beast. You look and sound so much like him lol. Total compliment, the guy was awesome. Anyway, I watch most of the poker vloggers these days, and yours is my favorite. Not sure how you don't have 250k+ subs already, but I know you will very soon. Wish your vids came out every day! I look forward to watching them for a long time. Thank you Lex!
I do not comment often and this is just my opinion. This is by far one of your best videos. And the shove was definitely correct. You are a beast and keep up the great videos.
This was by far one of your most intense vlogs!! Glad to see you make the money. Subscribed and I have that bell icon turn up! Like always grear content!
dig the tournament vlog bro, blinds are a must though to fully understand the thought process... for my dumb ass lol the 74 in the BB was mostly the hand
Nice work! You seemed to play pretty Dan Harrington style poker. I was unsure how well that style would work in 2022. I agree. Will get cashes but less wins.
I don’t comment often but this was a fantastic video. All of your videos have been great and super entertaining but definitely was on edge multiple times. Thanks for posting lex!
Way to learn the biggest lesson EVER in tournament poker....PATIENCE!! You can be aggressive in the lower levels a bit to build a stack with discipline, after that its all about playing good sound poker. Picking your spots, not letting the absolute fustration of going card dead make you try bluffs and things that put your stack at risk. Best I've done is some day two's a few years ago and making the bubble once for a ring (think it was a 400 buy-in or so) when I got taken out boat over boat....ouchie. Great vid, you have another subscriber, keep the vids coming!
I’ve been playing tournaments for about 9 years with my biggest score of 5600. You barely play tournies ever and go deep in a wpt main event. I thoroughly enjoyed this Vlog the most because I play mostly tournaments and suck at cash. This Vlog taught me a lot about remaining patient. I’m usually one of those opponents you talked about blasting off. Congrats!! ❤️
Well done Lex, this video was more interesting than some of your cash videos, the drama of the tournament was exciting and watching you progress was cool. You should think about more tournament play as the paydays are huge if you final table or maybe, WIN one. Keep up the grind Lex
Great run man. AJ was definitely a slam dunk jam but other than that, great play. Tournament play definitely gets some getting used to coming from playing mainly cash games, but after a while you kind of just memorize your push/fold spots. You’ll get em next time!

Thanks!!!!
Well done. You play emaculantly for three days until the big mistake at the end when you fold AJ, seems like and ista-jam, but I guess you were after that pay jump.
I want that KK hat Bro!
Where can we buy that KK hat?
Thats a hell of a run for a cash game player! Get yourself a nice recliner its definitely worth it. Looks like u got a similar sofa to the one im getting monday from Ikea.
Can we appreciate Lex for putting this tournament all in one vlog instead of multiple parts!
This seems like an attack on someone…… cough cough rampage cough cough 😂😂
Nah yeah lex O goated for that fr!
Agreed!
Thanks Lex 🤙🤙🤙
Was going to comment the same thing
AJ was definately a shove. That was a great spot to triple up. Early position opener was a big stack so he could be opening light and the caller wasn't that strong since he didn't raise so AJ was a great spot to get some chips.
Agreed. Other than that spot, it was a great run. Congratulations bro
Agree. Definitely a sizable mistake
Yeah AJ was def +EV, wtf at that guy who shoved A6o with 20bb... 🤣
I agree, shove or call. How did that hand play out?
Loved the way that you depicted this tournament play. Your patience is admirable, Lex. Well done.
It still amazes me how over 2000 people, most of them average Joes, in a local area just have $3500 sitting around to blow on a tournament. I get hives and question my sanity when buying into $120 tourneys.
Money isnt worth what it used to be...
It's all relative mate. My buy in limit is $10 :(
it’s Miami, ppl have deep pockets
Understand knowing ur limits is big part
Some people value money differently too. Money isn't everything. $3500 is worth some entertainment and a chance to win a million dollars for a lot of people (even though the chance that these people come in first isn't really feasible given the structure of this tournament).
20 minutes in and this is already the greatest video I've seen of yours. Well done Lex!
I agree. Run good
When you bink a large tournament, you’re hooked! It happened to me and I’ve been playing full time ever since! Awesome video and sending some run good juju over your way ✌️not a bad run brother!!
What tourney and what did you place/win?
Hell of a Video. At 31:40 My heart was POUNDING!! The trills of tournaments!! Keep up the Content
Fantastic vlog! You did amazing!
So pumped for this upload can’t wait to watch on the lunch break!
This was a dope video. It felt good to follow you through all the action. I enjoy tournament vlogs and any vlog with your level of thought can be as long as it needs to be. I'll be watching.
Love the tournament action, Lex! Your editing is top-notch allowing the viewer to feel the excitement with you. Thanks!!
This was one of my favorite of your vids, you had me hooked. I would love to see more tourney vids. Great patience, and great haaht!
That was a good run, nice job. I can honestly say that Rogue is the cutest dog on TH-cam. Keep playing tourneys.
This one , not one of your best, but THE best vlog you have created so far.
I’m the infamous words of @fishpoker , Hell Freakin Yeah! Great job brother. For someone who isn’t a tournament player you do very well. You can rebuy if your rampage and just like punting of 4/5 rebuys 🤣
Dude I got so hype for you during this video. You do a great job with cards, the video, and connecting with your supporters. Congratulations on the win. You deserve it!
This is actually the vlog of yours that I've enjoyed the most, by far. I felt like I was playing it with you.

One of my favorite vlogs. You played well, ran well and just happy to see good results.

Nice I feel like this tournament showed some improvement on your end good work! Also more Rogue!! Love that dog! Lol
“That was a pretty nice gift she gave us there” 😂 you’re content Is amazing 😂
What an amazing video I have discovered your channel months ago and my god I love the vlogs so much I never miss one keep up the great work!
Congrats on the cash! Tourneys are such long grinds, well done!
Lex, I play mostly tourneys, and actually watch your videos mostly to get better at the cash tables. I appreciated this video a lot. Your self analysis was spot on, which is half the battle to getting better. I'm very impressed with your cash since you dont play tourneys often, nice work.

I’m new to this channel but I think I found a channel I can stick to for the long haul. Good luck with your poker career Lex!
Amazing job Lex! You slayed it, especially for being a cash game guy. Be proud of yourself and your awesome play!
Congratulations! You did so well. How gruelling it must be to be focussed for all those hours. I just subscribed! 10K man, that is so cool. You are just getting better and better. You should be so proud. Love your work : )
I liked that you made one vlog for all three days. Good run Lex! 😊 glad you cashed!
I was shaking too and I wasn't even playing. Great job Lex
Congratulation Lex. I am so happy for you. Well done
We appreciate you at all times Lex in the cash games but this one here was epic. You ran good and picked your right spots for a non tournament player. Awesome job Lex. Your thee man.
Nice run Lex! So sick that these tournament stabs have gone pretty well

I do not comment often and this is just my opinion. This is by far one of your best videos. And the shove was definitely correct. You are a beast and keep up the great videos.
34:55 Johnny Chan, just casually making a cameo in your video.
Very good job explaining thought process with small amount of big blinds at the end of the tournament showing a lot of hands.
Great commentary Lex. It felt like I was watching my favorite team compete.
Lex, the way you played, I thought for sure that you would've made to the final table! You made us proud just the same brother!!!!
Aww man I was really pulling for you. What an exciting and great run! Congrats!
Amazing run! Maybe its time to consider playing some more events! Congratulations on your finish!
Congratulations, Bro. Tourney play requires chess mastery strategy, luck and an incredible amount of patience. Well done.
Really enjoyed this. Watched every minute to the end 👍
Awesome work mate, really enjoyed the whole journey, thanks! Congrats on the cash out.
Love watching you progress and keep taking shots man, congrats on your success!
This was by far one of your most intense vlogs!! Glad to see you make the money. Subscribed and I have that bell icon turn up! Like always grear content!
Congrats on the cash lex. Love watching your vids all the way from NZ
Great Vlog, you made tournament poker watchable thanks Lex and congratulations on your payout.
Congrats Lex! This was really fun to watch.
dig the tournament vlog bro, blinds are a must though to fully understand the thought process... for my dumb ass lol the 74 in the BB was mostly the hand
Wow I’m in suspense watching this you did a great job narrating this
That AJ hand was definitely a shove!!! Congrats on the nice finish!
I’m so stoked to watch this👏🏼👏🏼
Congratulations lex heck of a run in the tournament. Keep the videos coming and good running to you.
Great video as always Lex. Was awesome to see you run so deep in the tournament!
Great videos man love the frequent uplaods !!
Awesome grind Lex! Congrats on the run deep bro and I just noticed 40.1K subs! Fantastic work, you're crushing it.

Congratulations Lex! I share your belief that tournaments are like playing a sport.
Loved the video man!! Can’t wait for the next one
Great job, Lex! Not a bad few days
I am glad to see you went home to hang out with Roque on your dinner break and congrats on the deep run.
Well done Lex, this video was more interesting than some of your cash videos, the drama of the tournament was exciting and watching you progress was cool. You should think about more tournament play as the paydays are huge if you final table or maybe, WIN one. Keep up the grind Lex
Best vlog so far hands down.
I love long vlogs.. this wa definitely worth the watch.
I enjoyed every minute of this Video keep it up Lex !
Ty for letting us see what a tournament is like I really am thinking hard on playing cards for a carrer
Well played, learned a lot. Great patience paid off. Of course you got lucky too, but that’s necessary to run long in these big MTT MD events
Great run man. AJ was definitely a slam dunk jam but other than that, great play. Tournament play definitely gets some getting used to coming from playing mainly cash games, but after a while you kind of just memorize your push/fold spots. You’ll get em next time!
Great run Lex! I could go either way on the AJ, but I think I’m folding as well.
Awesome job Lex, would have loved to see you run deeper buy this was one of your funnest rides you took us on. Congrats mate
Great run
Keep the mental training up as much as the body training.
Great reasoning like you have will get you far.
Thanks
