    Did you know a oil manufacturer can call a lubricant a Full Synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic? AMSOIL is different because it is 100% Synthetic and has a higher film strength keeping the metal parts separated. AMSOIL allows less friction, less heat, less wear on the component. AMSOIL Signature Series motor oil will last 25,000 miles on 1 oil change! See Results -

      @@Syntheticoilprotection I've got 120000 on mine. How important is that filter?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it's a proprietary synthetic medium that filters at 99% efficiency at 20 microns also it has a higher flow rate so on your cold starts your engine will have less engine wear because 80% of the wear on an engine is during the cold start and the engine oil filter flows faster also it has an upgrade AT&T I drain back valve and that keeps the oil in the filter so on your next cold start it flows right away.
      If you're doing severe service driving I would change the oil filter a 12500 miles for best results.
      If you're doing highway driving you can comfortably go the 25,000 miles.
      City Driving puts a lot more soot in the oil and it breaks it down faster.
      This is the look up guide that will take you to the oil filter specifically for your vehicle -

    Question: I was going to do a simple drain and fill,but when I try to fill it the liquid comes back out through the dip stick. I got fed up and ended up calling a mechanic and he told me that I need a machine to pump the oil in?? Some help would be greatest appreciated. Thanks

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm not sure they're Louis I know the one in the video it took the fluid there could be a blockage in the tube or something could have broken that won't allow the fluid to go down the tube.
      It could be a different model and you have to fill it from underneath like the Lexus Transmissions.
      You'll see in my playlist on Transmissions how the Lexus has no dipstick and you have to fill it from the bottom pan.
      It sounds like if it's the same vehicle that could be something wrong with it.
      Definitely something I've never encountered yet🤔
      I hope everything goes good let me know if you figure it out thanks Lewis!

No issues so do I leave well enough alone or drop the pan, change the filter and add amsoil? Did he just go 220k without changing anything? Is so, how's it running now? Also, I believe I need to use the blue fuel efficient signature series and not the red multi vehicle, or does that not matter on these? thanks

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You might want to try a little metal MP metal protector to try to loosen it also some mechanics use a little bit of heat to expand the metal to let it separate two.
      Sounds like you're going to have to replace the dipstick and the pan because it's all corroded so I would just get a new dipstick in pan

    Quick question, my wife's car is a toyota prius 2010 with 164,000 miles and has never had a transmission fluid change. Would you recommend it that will get an transmission oil change? I've heard that it's not ideal for high mileage cars that have never had it done before.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well there's two different ways to look at it if the fluid still looks pretty good I would definitely change it.
      If the fluids totally burnt and you want to keep the car a little longer before you have to replace a transmission then you would want to just leave it.
      The only downside is if you leave it eventually the Transmissions going to self-destruct once there's no fluid circulating and it all gets sludged up.
      So I would just check the fluid see if the fluid still looks decent and then if it does just change it.
