  • A little mechanical advantage can go a long way when you're alone in the woods. In this episode, we'll take a look at a simple and packable way to make a block and tackle for lifting heavy loads in the field.

Well done video! I've spent (A LOT ) of time over the last 40 years in the outdoors, and you are still teaching me some interesting things.

Thanks for the video, neat. You didn't go into tying off your pull line to another tree, although I suppose most folks can figure that out. For convenience, you could rig the pull line like a PCT hang so you would not need to tie it off to a tree, although that would not be a true PCT hang because your suspension line is still tied off to a tree.

Hey good stuff! To not tear up your hands you can always wrap the paracord around a stick to pull up the pack.

Nice imfo man! thankx! clay, those grizzley braodheads were waiting for me when i got home- i set my target up and tried them out- these are the cats ass!!!!! they hit identicle to my feildpoints! these single bevel grizzles fly better then any other broadhead i've shot man. they punch through my 18 inch target block and a peice of 1-4 onch plywood out of the package- i hope folks read this and shoot them. Clay i cant thank you enough for your help. these zwickies just went in the trash- even at 20 yards man! even at 20 yards there spot on! if you ever want to hunt here in maine, come on! i cant thankyou enough for recomending these broadheads.
