- a reupload because in the last one i left out this one clip i like, no ads are from me, this vid is copyrighted + i don't own anything. this is just a compilation of some of damon daunno's vocal moments that i like. these are all mostly live vocals (the hadestown clips are all live as well, inc. the cast recording bits- that cast recording just took the audio from the actor's mics as they did the show- kind of a high quality audio bootleg?)
basically he showed up in interview with the vampire with no warning and i've been thinking about his falsetto since then. i need him to return to broadway or literally just any musical theatre production that isn't incredibly indie,, ideally the upcoming west end oklahoma run or as anatole in a great comet revival.
What a range he's got! The man's not afraid to use his falsetto and get primal. He feels the music as it pours out of him. Truly unique and inspiring.
If DD re-recorded the entire "Grace" album originally done by Jeff Buckley, I would buy the heck out of it.
i know he did a jeff buckley tribute set a looong time ago (its where the lover you shouldve come over vid is from im pretty sure) but hes a longtime fan and i honestly wouldve loved if he had been cast for the biopic but ah well..

hes one of my favorite performers and every time i see him in something i spiral. i hope the dec 5 joe's pub sartre musical reading he does will get filmed aha i wish i could see that live
I got DD brainrot and found this compilation. Thank you for making it! He has one of my fave voices ever and I hope to see him on or off Broadway again. I was lucky to see him in OK and meet him after. One of the nicest people ever. I told him he had one of my favorite voices ever and he gave me the biggest hug! I'd see this man in anything.
he is also one of my favorite voices ever- his range and tone is SO beautiful.. its so cool you got to meet him! everyone who has met him at stagedoor that ive heard from all says that he's super lovely and humble in person : )) hes in a musical rn called the lonely few :))

i looked for damon vocal compilations and couldnt find ANY so i had to make one.. im so glad u liked it! it means a lot to me that there are other ppl who find this stuff and enjoy it :)

omg its a song called 'ladies' from a musical called beardo which is.. a bit of a weird musical ahaha... theres a proshot of it with an earlier cast available somewhere on the internet! its loosely based on rasputin
