My Haitian neighbour invited my boyfriend and me to a party, and these plantains were on the menu. I couldn't stop eating them. He had his wife whip me up a batch to take home, but I neglected to ask for the recipe. No one is home right now, and I have some plantains to cook. This is what I needed. Thank you.

      @@cookingwithfreddie my husband loves it!
I didn't wash with lemons I was too lazy and tired.lol
The plantains I had was yellow on the outside so it had a lil sweetness to it. Not the same as what I had from Hatian restaurants which I love. My husband loves it, he didn't complain. Since my husband enjoy it than I'm happy.😊
      THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!! 😊

I told him as soon as i learned a good recipe and did it for myself i would be done going to our local spots in tampa and buying them. But yes it was delicious. I make the fried banann as a snack onbthe regular now and i always keep pikliz. I’m trying to start making griot and tasso kabrit if you ever want to make a video and show me.
