SUV Flies Over Priest's Car During High-Speed Crash

- Eighty-seven-year-old Father John Bok was on his way to Sunday Mass when an SUV flew over his car. The driver of the SUV is said to have experienced a seizure and lost control of the vehicle. However, Father John had no idea what happened until a police officer showed him the surveillance video after church. After analyzing the video, he says the driver hit the pole so perfectly that it sprung him up in the air like a pole vaulter.

Father John was a regular at my fathers house after Sunday mass at St. Patrick’s Church in Galveston. He and two other priest would visit for Sunday dinner. He is truly a blessing in the lives he has touched throughout the years. Our family was blessed to have him say my dads funeral mass and Eulogy. ❤

@@sparrowhawk5673 I dont know, was he really watching over the guy who got a seizure out of the blue and now had to pay higher insurance, fix his car, probably won’t be able to drive on account for the seziure. Sure he might not have died but you know his family won’t forget this and pester him about it every time he does something stupid on the road. I have epilepsy myself and can see the struggle in his life.
To me it looks like god made one persons life worse to make the priest look like he was saved.

We can all say, we witnessed a miracle after watching this video. I mean, the factors that had to come together, enabling this priest to simply just keep driving on down the road is incalculable. I’m sure happy they all came together though and he enjoys many, many more years to come

100 Americans die every day in car accidents. Many of them christian. Where is their guardian Angel? If god is really picking and choosing who lives and dies in car accidents then he’s doing a horrific job. I know great people that have died in car accidents that didn’t deserve it. I also know horrible people that have survived. Christian’s refuse to accept that maybe, just maybe, there is no magic man in the sky controlling it all.

The SUV was headed straight to the priest’s driver side door and could have been the end of him or seriously got injured. I’m glad both men were okay. This was a true miracle and I don’t even believe such a thing. The thing that convinced me is how the SUV flew over his car and where he was heading and what the sermon was for that day. It can’t be all coincidences and I believe angels were watching over him that day. I could be wrong but I’m choosing faith this time.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I was on my mountain bike riding around the streets at 2 am and I was struck by a car going 40mph. And I don't remember much of course. But I was told the guy who hit me was a priest and that he called 911 and waited till I left in the ambulance. I was fine some how. Broke his windshield with my teeth (front 2)(filled now) and nothing else was damaged. No broken bones. No lifetime pain. Glasses not a scratch. Bike was totaled of course. But for me to be even walking today it's crazy!
The car was driving 40mph. What was the speed limit for that street and how good were the lights on your mountain bike?

the angle I see, it shows the car leap in air as the priest car is driving by, but the priest car passes as the flying car is making the arch in the air so its not really over the priest car. It's still a near miss

AMAZING. So true. I had an guardian angel looking after me in 2001. I drove an 4 Runner SUV coming home from work mid way from 580 split to SF. Driving from the far left lane. There was a speeder who looks like he was in his 80s right next to me trying to make one right lane over. He saw another speeder coming close to him, he swung back to his lane but lose control going to my lane. I saw it so I hit my brakes and I lost control. I spun from front to back 1” away to each walls total of 5 lanes. Everyone in the front saw it and was at a halt making sure if I was ok. My SUV spun back and forth at least 6 or 7 rounds. Not sure how I made this maneuver. At the final end my SUV didn’t flip but made a stop 1/2” away from the wall. My car stalled and everyone still waited to see if I was ok. My car started, then I yelled at that old guy who waited at the top to see if I was ok too that he could have killed me. Then I drove off because there were no damages. NOW SOME GUARDIAN ANGEL REALLY TOOK CARE OF ME!!!!

I remember one time a few years ago I was driving in an unfamiliar area so I was trying to figure out which way to go when I was at a stop light. My light turned green for me to go but I was still confused where to go so I didn't go yet since there was nobody behind me. A few seconds after the light turned green, one of those massive GM SUVs ran the red light at over 40MPH coming from the left side. My car had no side impact protection so if I was not confused; if I were to go on my green, I would surely be dead. It was a miracle that I did not go when I normally would. And I did not even see the SUV coming either.
Don't ever start when you get the green light, first check nobody is running their red light! It happened to me twice with semis!
That was just your instincts it's good to follow them your instincts can save your life that has nothing to do with God just human function
