The MPO and SPO are both cases for the Pocket Operator devices by Teenage Engineering. Pocket Operators are circuit boards with a screen and switches, so most people like to use a case to make them look and feel like a finished beat machine. The PO in this vid is the PO33 which is a sampler (best one imo). As far as the differences between the MPO and SPO cases, the MPO has an all silicone top part with a plastic back shell. The SPO has a plastic faceplate with clear silicone buttons to allow the indicator lights to shine through. It has a silicone back part and allows you to keep the hang tag on the PO.
