I only knew about this because I saw you and some other dude talking about this on the new Birdflesh release, glad someone mentioned it or I would have missed out. Hadn't listened to Jig-Ai in about six years so this was a great return to them.
I use my Walkman with a male/male auxiliary 35mm cable & set the stereo to AUX. I'm sure you can do the same with any device with a 35mm jack (recent phones are wireless only, which is fucking garbage).
While the last one already didn't use a harmonizer this has even normal shouts in it. Compared to the st and katana orgy this is tame as shit. Even the titles look like they've been created by a randomizer. This is merely a watered down parody. I'm out.
@@padraig88 Thanks man, I'm always thankful for new bands to check out. Rawheads Spineless Pigs from 2018 has been a decent substitute to me. It has this heavy low end impact of the JA's st. And City Hunter's Deep Blood Ep also did the job for me.
i was excited for this record at first, but now I agree w ya. this feels like a step down from their other 3 records which have shown constant improvement with each release. but the songs here sound rather standard and have little to no distinction from one another. i expected stupid song titles but these ones feel incredibly lazy and make the songs feel cornier. the kokyu and random ass babies crying didn't really do much for the songs besides make the Japanese aesthetic feel forced at this point, and the more i look at the album art, the more underwhelming it gets. i hate to admit it but this is a pretty weak Jig-Ai album.
