2:21 I never liked the wooden ramp over the trains in the tunnel because it always felt kind of contrived but it looks so much cooler here, it makes more sense knowing that you were originally supposed to jump over a big fire and land on the trains but presumably they changed it for gameplay reasons after playtesting.
Check out Apocalypse's E3 demo build, more commonly known as The E3 Playable. It has a sound design so dynamic and the crashes are more akin to Pacific Rift making them satisfying to look at.
Damn, the boost gauge went up way faster than how it does in the final game. Really wish the game didn't feel as heavy and slower than in previous titles though
Wow! This is great to see! It's amazing to see the third game with a art style closer to 1 and 2. The end product had this weird almost comic book style to the graphics comparatively. Either way great video! We really need to pester Sony to do a remaster of these games! Full 4k and 60fps with Dolby Atmos sound would melt brains!
All 3 games from the main PS3 trilogy can be played with a 60 FPS game patch, although Monument Valley and Pacific Rift introduce physics bugs, while Apocalypse becomes harder to run.
CFW is pretty straightforward by just installing the .PKG from the Archive.org page. I've never used HEN, but if it has a PKG installer, it should be just as easy, since there is no license check for this build.
Tyler's epilogue "Duel With Death" is mostly based on this level, with some routes from Mash's epilogue being playable here, unlike in the final game. This level is basically a mashup of both characters' epilogues into one.
It is, if you have a PS3, you can download it for yourself on the "Playstation 3 Prototypes Megalot" page on Archive.org. Might not be enjoyable to play compared to the E3 version of this build though.
I really hate this "apocalypse" aesthetic. It misses the point of Motorstorm entirely. So many cool wild locales to set these games in, and they chose to go for a generic apocalypse.
Honestly I think it would've been better if they stuck with it taking place in San Francisco during "The big one". That way it could've kept the real-world locale while also keeping the apocalypse setting.
@@jacksonbarkerthebluehairedfox no, because San Francisco is a real place. Motorstorm was delayed due to the Japan nuclear disaster. If they used a real location, it might not ever be released without censoring some details.
@@xdog12 I mean, we got plenty of disaster movies that take place in San Francisco, so I don't get the hangup on that. The main reason it was delayed was because of the *earthquake* in Japan, not the nuclear disaster. The thing driving the apocalypse in the game is a major earthquake, and releasing the game right after a deadly earthquake in Japan wouldn't have looked good. The setting of the game didn't really matter.
Note this was the earliest demo for a game that came out in 2013. Of course it's not gonna look as good as modern games. Still looks pretty damn good for its time though.
Crazy how scary realistic the sound design is.

Its genuinely fascinating how far it came along
The game has dropped in 2011. But instead of 3.they titled it Apocalypse. And with much more realism than this demo
It's still cool to look at early builds. It's also motorstorm 3 in japan.
While I absolutely ADORE the final game, I kinda love just how *menacing* this version seems in comparison. It's really cool!

"we're gonna race...in that?"
has a whole different vibe without the dubstep and drum n bass music lol

There's a lot more chaos in this than the actual game

Completely agree on the addition of Dolby Atmos sound.
This was awesome to watch. Brings back many memories
I cannot believe it.
Honestly, I think I like the idea of the game being more explicitly set in San Francisco instead of just some nameless Californian city.
I totally get you, I’ve always just called it San Francisco lol.
Interesting!! Love seeing this early motorstorm stuff. This version of apocalypse seems closer to pacific rifts style.
Imagine msa like that, bro it's better than now
I want this to come to pc 😭 this game is legendery we all want a remake
In yo dreams xD
I hope in the future, somebody get a playable tgs build of MotorStorm Apocalypse
Whoa! That's different
It's brilliant work bro. Do you intend to remaster the entire Motorstorm Apocalypse?
I am not the developer of any of the Motorstorm games. This is just the earliest leaked build of Apocalypse.
@@I-ilias Oh I thought it was a remaster I had done.
Wait, is that a modified Admiral Kuznetsov carrier?
Only if this series was in 60fps...would be amazing on rpcs3, but it locked to 30.

This version is like a AAA ps5 game
Honestly it looks like Apocalypse but low budget (motorstorm 2.5 if you will)
Now Im curious how this can be played on HEN.

A crumbling bridge is not considered "cool wild locales"? Motorstorm Apocalypse is epic...
