The very FIRST time I wore it, I went to a local coffee shop, ordered and went and sat down. There were three workers behind the counter, two girls and a guy. Probably a half hour went by, and then one of them came over and asked what cologne I was wearing. He said they'd all noticed it and were discussing how amazing it was and he decided he'd come over and ask. I was kind of in shock that all the stories were actually true!

Someone liked what I was wearing, and kind of exhibited some strange behavior as a result. It's a huge confidence booster, it feels amazing. The power of scent is overwhelming, yet overlooked most of the time, especially after a recession when we learn to live without a few luxuries like cologne and perfume. Well i have 1 story with Aventus. I was with a girl on a restaurant. At the end when we asked for the check the waitress comes up shy and says: it has to be you who are wearing this sexy fragrance I have already asked everyone .... and It shocked me because I put 6 sprays of Aventus like 5 hours ago. She said that the hole place smelled my cologne and asked me to write it down.
Great list! I recently brought a 5ml decant of Aventus to a wedding and applied it in the bathroom before the reception...MAN I could not have anticipated the amount of compliments I was going to receive. I even had an occasion where a girl buried her face into my chest and demanded I told her what I was wearing. Phenomenal juice.

Acqua Di Gio was also my husband's signature scent when he was in college. He used to bathe in it, haha! Whenever he enters a room, everyone would know that is him who is smelling that good! The second one he seems to reach for so often these days is La Nuit De L'Homme. I love this one, too. Bleu De Chanel and Aventus are amazing smells, but the problem with them is that they do not project very well on my husband so this might be a body chemistry thing. They just absorb so quickly and disappear. Aventus is better than Bleu, though. I am now intrigued to try Sauvage & Invictus!

+Waha Sawas TRY a bottle of Allure Homme Sport and a true vintage Calvin Klein Obsession for Men ..That is some awesome stuff,it is no wonder that it has been used more that any other mens fragrance but they reformed it for the worse I hear ..The vintage bottles always has the gold ring around the cap ...
Hi Steven, I watched your most complimented fragrances 2014 last year which made me curious to know how enthusiastic and eager to smell the test of Aventus- my god, this was the first time I've known about it. Then I had no hesitation to buy it regardless of its expensive cost. I'm curious again to watch 2015 video to see if Aventus is still standing the No1 on your list. After one year, Aventus still makes me want to fly like the first time I smelt it. My girlfriends, family members and everyone whom I asked love it. I don't know when will be a substitute cologne that can replace my privilege for Aventus in my collection. I used to work for Best Buy and wear bleu de Chanel almost everyday....boy did I get a ton of compliments...from both females and males. Can't go wrong with it guys.
I just bought a 2nd bottle of Dior Sauvage for my 16 yr old son. I just got my bottle this past Sunday. It's an attention getter for sure! My son's current rotation is Versace PH, Bleu de Chanel, 1 million and A&F Fierce. I like hearing about when his peers compliment him on his cologne. Armaf Club De Nuit Intense has replaced my Insurrection Pure 2 for an Aventus Clone. I do have Aventus but only bring it out for special occasions. This was a fun video to watch! Roses and Chocolate has me interested.
Absolutely. I wore IP2 more than both and got a lot of compliments but Club Nuit is Aventus without the high price tag. I got mine from Lily Direct for $30 plus $2.99 shipping. I order a lot of fragrances on line and never had any problems with them.
Insurrection Pure 2 wins in compliments only cause I use it more than Aventus. But when I wear Aventus it rules my collection. Armaf is excellent clone. Lily direct has it for $30 and shipping is cheap. Can use maxf15 code for a 5% discount. Max is a reviewer on youtube and his code works just fine. Lily direct carries both Armaf and IP2. For total of $50 can have both in your collection.

Aventus is indeed the most complimented one for me as well. Unfortunately it doesn't really last on my skin. Another one that get a lot of attention is the silver mountain water (you have to spray it generously because is not very strong)

Very well presented, and I really appreciate the personal anecdotes. It is soo, subjective. I've seen Creed beaten by Sauvage on Jeremy's channel, more than once. So, I've gone with what has been the most consistent across several spectrums. (In my view) Blue De Chanel, Invictus intense, Acqua Di Gio, Profumo, and Dior, Sauvage. I do have several others that are often mentioned, but in my experience, they are the most consistent.

I forgot that I ordered samples of #2 and #3 from luckyscent. They are relatively complex and very inviting and nice. #2 almost reminds me of something Andy Tauer would make.
I love your passion for fragrance. When I first found you on YT (Top 10 perfumes for women) I thought you worked in retail/owner of a fragrance store. Now I realize you are an educator with a serious fragrance hobby. Am I right? I'm a preschool teacher and for the longest time I thought perfume was not for me bc I would get an immediate headache 😱. Months ago I bought Flower Bomb and 💗 it. I have never gotten a headache with it. Do you have any insight on why that could be? I want to start collecting more perfumes but I'm a bit cautious.
The first day I wore More Than Words I was walking past someone who was getting out of their car. They stopped me instantly to ask me what I was wearing and had me text them the name of it. It’s one of my all time favorite scents and although I don’t recommend people to wear it in hot weather, I do all the time 😂

Every time that I wear Chanel Allure I receive compliments.The same could be said when I used to wear Velvet Imari by Avon (discontinued but it was under $20 and smelled like Calvin Klein Contradiction.)Another strange one is Calyx (very sharp green notes in it)and I’m sure that it smelled better when Prescriptives used to manufacture it, rather than Clinique.I love when my husband wears Hugo Boss Orange but it is expensive but worth it.

In my opinion, the two most essential fragrance for men are YSL L'homme ($70 for 6.7 oz) and YSL La Nuit De L'homme ($80 for 6.7 oz). YSL L'homme is a perfect scent for the daytime (work, school, casual event, interviews) and YSL La Nuit De L'homme is a perfect scent for the nighttime (date, club, formal event). PERIOD. In my personal experience, the best advice for men who are looking for their signature scent or for people who want to start their fragrance journey is to purchase the essentials first and slowly yet gradually expand their fragrance lists if they desire. If you only want to purchase minimum numbers of fragrances and IF YOU ARE NOT ON A BUDGET, these two are the only fragrances that you will need. 6.7 oz may seem too big at first but you will burn through them if you spray it every day and it will save you a lot of money. Both of them provides INCREDIBLE AND REDICULOUS amount of feedbacks and compliments from not just ladies but also from other men as well. Not only are they sexy, sophisticated, clean, masculine, and versatile, I have not seen anyone so far who dislikes these two fragrances from where I live (only compliments). In other words, in my opinion, they are the least subjective fragrances to wear that only gives you compliments and no complaints. IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET, I think Mont Blanc Individuel ($25 for 2.5 oz) and F Black by Ferragamo ($25 for 3.4 oz) are the two essentials that one would need. Mont Blanc Individuel is an excellent day and night fragrances and F Black by Ferragamo is an excellent night fragrances imo. However, since YSL L’homme and La Nuit De L’homme are relatively on-par in prices even when you compare them with other inexpensive fragrances that are more subjective, I highly highly highly recommend you purchase them before trying other fragrances. As a man in his mid 20s who bought 20+ fragrances in the last 3 months or so thanks to all of the TH-cam Reviewers mentioned above, I can guarantee you that these two are my favorite and the most go-to fragrances without a doubt regardless of the occasions. I personally wanted to thank all TH-cam Fragrance Reviewers and especially thanks to these four reviewers, I had a wonderful things going on with my life due to these fragrances. Seriously, I cannot thank you enough!
Cal Bert Wow dude, you sound exacly like me. I also just started watching all these TH-cam reviews and ordering all these fragrances because watching them. I feel like an idiot haha. The funny thing is I never used to be into fragrances at all!. Now, it's like I'm obsessed! The first fragrance I bought (because of Jeremy Fragrance) is La nuit de l'homme, but I ordered the parfum version. I really like it myself, but my girlfriend doesn't. She thinks it's too sweet/feminine. The second fragrance I bought, is Ferragamo F Black. This one she absolutely loves!! In the last month, I've had waaaay more compliments for wearing the Ferragamo fragrance compared to La nuit de l'homme. Now, I'm thinking about getting some Versace Pour Homme, Montblanc Individuel and Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Malt. I've heard some great thing about that last one and can't wait to try it myself! Also, it's not that expensive.

Instead of using acqua di gio i use perry ellis 360 red (im a teen) 1st time wearing it i got 4 compliments within 30 minutes of each other just last week(all from girls).

Great video. Ch men is a Harrods exclusive here so if I want to test it before buying I have to go to London. I can buy it elsewhere online but only Harrods in store. Do you get much projection from la nuit as I find the latest version very watered down and a skin scent which is a shame as I love the smell.
Mr G. I think it will be tough to get rid of that nickname;) CH Men is incredible. The combination of leather and sugarcane is a guarantee for compliments. In spain a saleslady recommended this one and she sprayed it on my wrist. That night i received compliment after compliment. The day after i bought the fragrance. Versace Pour Homme, Eau Fraichs,L'Homme ,Chanel Allure Homme Sport & Extreme,Bleu,The One,Bleu and last but not least Mandarino di Amalfi are my most complimented fragrances.
I Have settled in with La Nuit De L'homme edt as my favorite scent...it is just a great scene starting on bottle 2, in the summer it becomes a great daytime scent if you layer it with "Coconut lime verbina" seems to eradicate the seriousness of the smell or "vibe"

I've got 5 of these top ten scents you mentioned on this video and yes Aventus kills it everytime! I wanted to ask you now that I've got approx 80 bottles and my wife has about 40 lol, my questions was so long as I leave my cologne bottles in a cool dark "hidden vailt" how long would you expect the scents to last?? It's amazing that you got such compliments at work. A guy at work complimented me on my perfume once saying that it smelled so good that he wanted to follow me around all day so that he could smell it. He got a strike for sexual harassment by the HR manager who overheard our conversation. XD
Redolessence It was All about Eve by Joop. It's nothing fancy but I get quite a lot of compliments with this; people tend to like it because it smells like so comforting apple pie but it's surprisingly not overly sweet, fruity or crisp. Can't find a lot of fragrances like this these days. :(
I have the large flacon of Aventus, but it does not seem to last more than a couple hours. Any suggestions? Use more? Where to spray? I love it, but I hate having to dry down several times a day.

I recently brought a 5ml decant of Aventus to a wedding and applied it in the bathroom before the reception...MAN I could not have anticipated the amount of compliments I was going to receive. I even had an occasion where a girl buried her face into my chest and demanded I told her what I was wearing. Phenomenal juice.

Acqua Di Gio was also my husband's signature scent when he was in college. He used to bathe in it, haha! Whenever he enters a room, everyone would know that is him who is smelling that good! The second one he seems to reach for so often these days is La Nuit De L'Homme. I love this one, too. Bleu De Chanel and Aventus are amazing smells, but the problem with them is that they do not project very well on my husband so this might be a body chemistry thing. They just absorb so quickly and disappear. Aventus is better than Bleu, though. I am now intrigued to try Sauvage & Invictus!

I watched your most complimented fragrances 2014 last year which made me curious to know how enthusiastic and eager to smell the test of Aventus- my god, this was the first time I've known about it. Then I had no hesitation to buy it regardless of its expensive cost.
I'm curious again to watch 2015 video to see if Aventus is still standing the No1 on your list.
After one year, Aventus still makes me want to fly like the first time I smelt it. My girlfriends, family members and everyone whom I asked love it.
I don't know when will be a substitute cologne that can replace my privilege for Aventus in my collection.

Absolutely. I wore IP2 more than both and got a lot of compliments but Club Nuit is Aventus without the high price tag. I got mine from Lily Direct for $30 plus $2.99 shipping. I order a lot of fragrances on line and never had any problems with them.

Insurrection Pure 2 wins in compliments only cause I use it more than Aventus. But when I wear Aventus it rules my collection. Armaf is excellent clone. Lily direct has it for $30 and shipping is cheap. Can use maxf15 code for a 5% discount. Max is a reviewer on youtube and his code works just fine. Lily direct carries both Armaf and IP2. For total of $50 can have both in your collection.

Aventus is indeed the most complimented one for me as well. Unfortunately it doesn't really last on my skin. Another one that get a lot of attention is the silver mountain water (you have to spray it generously because is not very strong)

Very well presented, and I really appreciate the personal anecdotes. It is soo, subjective. I've seen Creed beaten by Sauvage on Jeremy's channel, more than once. So, I've gone with what has been the most consistent across several spectrums. (In my view) Blue De Chanel, Invictus intense, Acqua Di Gio, Profumo, and Dior, Sauvage. I do have several others that are often mentioned, but in my experience, they are the most consistent.

I forgot that I ordered samples of #2 and #3 from luckyscent. They are relatively complex and very inviting and nice. #2 almost reminds me of something Andy Tauer would make.
I love your passion for fragrance. When I first found you on YT (Top 10 perfumes for women) I thought you worked in retail/owner of a fragrance store. Now I realize you are an educator with a serious fragrance hobby. Am I right? I'm a preschool teacher and for the longest time I thought perfume was not for me bc I would get an immediate headache 😱. Months ago I bought Flower Bomb and 💗 it. I have never gotten a headache with it. Do you have any insight on why that could be? I want to start collecting more perfumes but I'm a bit cautious.

The first day I wore More Than Words I was walking past someone who was getting out of their car. They stopped me instantly to ask me what I was wearing and had me text them the name of it. It’s one of my all time favorite scents and although I don’t recommend people to wear it in hot weather, I do all the time 😂
I recently tried more than words, and I was quite surprised. I expected not to like it because I'm not into roses much, but it is quite pleasant.

Very entertaining video! I love all of the anecdotes to go along with each of these fragrances. I also appreciate the fact that most of these scents seem to be more unusual. Xerjoff More than words is my favo nr1 of all my fragrances in my collection. It is a great romatic scent. I just love it.
Collectors hate Sauvage because they say it smells "synthetic", but it's soo gooood.
Every time that I wear Chanel Allure I receive compliments.The same could be said when I used to wear Velvet Imari by Avon (discontinued but it was under $20 and smelled like Calvin Klein Contradiction.)Another strange one is Calyx (very sharp green notes in it)and I’m sure that it smelled better when Prescriptives used to manufacture it, rather than Clinique.I love when my husband wears Hugo Boss Orange but it is expensive but worth it.

Thanks to all of these people, I was able to purchase and enjoy a lot of fragrances based on their reviews within a very short period of time. In my opinion, the two most essential fragrance for men are YSL L'homme ($70 for 6.7 oz) and YSL La Nuit De L'homme ($80 for 6.7 oz). YSL L'homme is a perfect scent for the daytime (work, school, casual event, interviews) and YSL La Nuit De L'homme is a perfect scent for the nighttime (date, club, formal event). PERIOD. In my personal experience, the best advice for men who are looking for their signature scent or for people who want to start their fragrance journey is to purchase the essentials first and slowly yet gradually expand their fragrance lists if they desire. If you only want to purchase minimum numbers of fragrances and IF YOU ARE NOT ON A BUDGET, these two are the only fragrances that you will need. 6.7 oz may seem too big at first but you will burn through them if you spray it every day and it will save you a lot of money. Both of them provides INCREDIBLE AND REDICULOUS amount of feedbacks and compliments from not just ladies but also from other men as well. Not only are they sexy, sophisticated, clean, masculine, and versatile, I have not seen anyone so far who dislikes these two fragrances from where I live (only compliments). In other words, in my opinion, they are the least subjective fragrances to wear that only gives you compliments and no complaints. IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET, I think Mont Blanc Individuel ($25 for 2.5 oz) and F Black by Ferragamo ($25 for 3.4 oz) are the two essentials that one would need. Mont Blanc Individuel is an excellent day and night fragrances and F Black by Ferragamo is an excellent night fragrances imo. However, since YSL L’homme and La Nuit De L’homme are relatively on-par in prices even when you compare them with other inexpensive fragrances that are more subjective, I highly highly highly recommend you purchase them before trying other fragrances. As a man in his mid 20s who bought 20+ fragrances in the last 3 months or so thanks to all of the TH-cam Reviewers mentioned above, I can guarantee you that these two are my favorite and the most go-to fragrances without a doubt regardless of the occasions. I personally wanted to thank all TH-cam Fragrance Reviewers and especially thanks to these four reviewers, I had a wonderful things going on with my life due to these fragrances. Seriously, I cannot thank you enough!
Cal Bert Wow dude, you sound exacly like me. I also just started watching all these TH-cam reviews and ordering all these fragrances because watching them. I feel like an idiot haha. The funny thing is I never used to be into fragrances at all!. Now, it's like I'm obsessed! The first fragrance I bought (because of Jeremy Fragrance) is La nuit de l'homme, but I ordered the parfum version. I really like it myself, but my girlfriend doesn't. She thinks it's too sweet/feminine. The second fragrance I bought, is Ferragamo F Black. This one she absolutely loves!! In the last month, I've had waaaay more compliments for wearing the Ferragamo fragrance compared to La nuit de l'homme. Now, I'm thinking about getting some Versace Pour Homme, Montblanc Individuel and Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Malt. I've heard some great thing about that last one and can't wait to try it myself! Also, it's not that expensive.
That’s wild cause I tried Creed and thought it was such an awful smell and couldn’t believe people pay for that cologne. Now la nuit de lhomme …. That is a killer fragrance and gets compliments like crazy

Awesome video! I tried Aventus and initially its smells great on me, but after 2 or 3 hours I get a very annoying musk. Do you think it is my skin chemistry or is it a spoiled bottle?

Great video. Ch men is a Harrods exclusive here so if I want to test it before buying I have to go to London. I can buy it elsewhere online but only Harrods in store. Do you get much projection from la nuit as I find the latest version very watered down and a skin scent which is a shame as I love the smell.

Mr G. I think it will be tough to get rid of that nickname;) CH Men is incredible. The combination of leather and sugarcane is a guarantee for compliments. In spain a saleslady recommended this one and she sprayed it on my wrist. That night i received compliment after compliment. The day after i bought the fragrance. Versace Pour Homme, Eau Fraichs,L'Homme ,Chanel Allure Homme Sport & Extreme,Bleu,The One,Bleu and last but not least Mandarino di Amalfi are my most complimented fragrances.

I Have settled in with La Nuit De L'homme edt as my favorite scent...it is just a great scene starting on bottle 2, in the summer it becomes a great daytime scent if you layer it with "Coconut lime verbina" seems to eradicate the seriousness of the smell or "vibe"

great video Steven, gotta say you and street scents is what I've been getting my info on different colognes I've been getting the last 3-4 years. I've got 5 of these top ten scents you mentioned on this video and yes Aventus kills it everytime! I wanted to ask you now that I've got approx 80 bottles and my wife has about 40 lol, my questions was so long as I leave my cologne bottles in a cool dark "hidden vailt" how long would you expect the scents to last?? I have people tell me why buy all of these if you can't use it do to it going bad in 7 years... I wanted your input. by the way my favorite house is Creed, Amouage, Nasomatto. I'm not gonna lie, I love them all! lol

Redolessence It was All about Eve by Joop. It's nothing fancy but I get quite a lot of compliments with this; people tend to like it because it smells like so comforting apple pie but it's surprisingly not overly sweet, fruity or crisp. Can't find a lot of fragrances like this these days. :(
