If you come to Paris, let me know, there is a great little boutique of niche parfums that have yet to be exported and are rare finds and I love to turn people onto it, the owner is really a great help to the customers and he knows his stuff!!!!!
Great list Steven. Here's my list:
1. Creed Aventus 2. Montale Intense Cafe 3. Dior Bois D'Argent 4. Armani Prive Myrrhe Imperiale 5. Dior Ambre Nuit 6. Phaedon Tabac Rouge 7. Creed Virgin Island Water 8. Creed Green Irish Tweed 9. Creed Royal Oud 10. Maison Martin Margella Replica Jazz Club
Love your reviews buddy! Bought 60 bottles since I started watching your reviews, I gotta buy some samples, I dying to try them, darn niche brands are difficult to get your hands on. I've bought 18 bottles of creed blind! Gulp... It was scary but with your reviews made it a lot easier. I hit it with 80% positive with creed, I bought some that I didn't find d reviews, just because I was so curious because they all smelled so good!
You are such a 'Pro' Great great video!!!
Thank you! Congrats on your recent milestone!
Thanks buddy
Wow, this is probably your best list to date!
Thanks, man! That means a lot!
Excellent review. I appreciate your overall formal presentation, as well.
Your videos are alll great! Love the way you rate the fragrances. You're very credible as you are very knowledgeable and articulate!
Exceptional list, bro. Plenty of fumes for thought. The most intriguing, to me, is the poetry one. Dracdoc's vid encouraged me to snare a 100ml of Bond #9 AW, and I ration it like a piece of meat from the Great Depression. Oh, and I blind-bought Interlude Man, and love it. Take care. My latest - favorite decant is Portrat of a Lady.
Fantastic list Steven!!, mine are Creed-Aventus, Le labo-Rose 31, Amouage-Interlude, Xerjoff- 40 knots + Fars, Imaginary Authors- Cape heartache, Tom ford- Tobacco vanille, Hermes- Ambre narguile, By Kilian- Back to black, Frederic Malle, Musc Ravageur.
Masala chai? I'm sold on Untitled #2. I neeeeed to try it!
You have a keen appreciation for complex fragrances- BRAVO!!!
Very nice list. I just got my first bottle of Aventus about three weeks ago (no compliments yet), just got a split of Andy Warhol from MyMickers in the mail today, and based on just one or two sprays so far, it's gonna be good. I'm really bummed that Untitled 2 is discontinued, I really wanted to try that. Have tried all the others, and like or love most of them. I totally agree with your comment that a perfume can be great not necessarily because of the smell, but of the memories it evokes. Looking forward to your next list.
Thank you, Mark! Always a pleasure having you stop by my videos! Glad you like Andy Warhol. If I see anyone selling Untitled #2, I will make sure to let you know. Thanks again.
It's been a month since I really got into fragrances and have learned a lot from your videos. I like how you describe LdDM (and Encre Noir in its review) as a work of art. I have Encre Noir now and I love it. Might have to blind buy LdDM and have ordered samples for 4 Serge Lutens and CDG2 Man. Thank you!
great video again! i'm a big fan! i've learned so much from your Videos, thanks a lot and greetings from germany!
Great and classy collection. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask if you like tobacco fragrances and whether you have considered purchasing Herod from the house of Parfums de Marly.
Although nothing as amazing as yours, my personal favourites in my collection are:
**in order of personal preference
- Creed Aventus (purely for the way it smells and makes me feel..then need I mention the compliments I get from wearing it?)
- Parfums de Marly Herod (My numero uno Tobacco frag for men. Such a classic)
- Atkinson British Bouquet
- Armani Prive Vetiver Babylone (My hard-to-impress partner loves this on me, so does she when i wear Aventus and Herod)
- Creed Vetiver Geranium
- Acqua di Parma OUD Colognia Intensia (It's got a beastly projection and its dry-down is amazing)
- Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot
- Guerlain L'instant Intense EDP
- Mancera Aoud Cafe
- 1 Million Paco Rabbane (Yes it's an oldie but it remains a classic. The imitations and commonness have all watered down this beauty, but it's overpowering projection and sillage is high up there with the mighty)
- Commes de Garcon Amazing Green
I have decided to stop at these, as they are my current favs. I have owned and still own lots more (D'squared, Jimmy Choo, M7 OUD Yves Saint Laurent, Paloma Piccaso, etc) but wouldn't bore you with those. As you can see, my list here is no where near your impressive collection LOL
From this video, I hope to get my hands on samples of duro nasomatto, Red Aoud Montale, L'air du desert Marocaine, and Untitled #2 MAgnetic scent. I would chance blind buying duro nasomatto and L'air du desert Marocaine but wouldn't want to blind-buy Aoud Montale RED based on its extreme potency
Thanks again for sharing
Hey Steven I have a 40 ml decant of Aventus but no compliments yet and it was a 50 ml so ten ml and nothing yet I think it's my skin, two little samples from Lucky Scent of Interlude Man and L'air du desert Marocain and luckily Max Forti did a decant sale and I got Andy Warhol can't wait to try it out later today.
And by the way great selections I've wanting to try out Bois D'Argent
Don't really see anyone discussing Roja Dove perfumes. Have you tried any?
You broke down the colognes very well but i wish you wouldve told us about the PROJECTION,SILLAGE and about how long they LAST,pretty good job nonetheless.. How about doing an all TOP 10 NICHE GOURMAND COLOGNES video one day????
Great video. I really enjoyed hearing you talk about your favorites!
What a lovely list Steven.
Great video... surprised theres no Tom Ford, MFK or Kilian on the list
Great list bro. I am going to get samples of More than Words, Untitled no.2 and Patchouli 24 to get my nose on them for the first time.
I sincerely hope you like them! Thank you for watching!

noir de noir? nah brah!!
+Eddie2965 thats a grandma scent.
+Eddie2965 Lol! Well, I never got that comment about Noir de Noir. But I had it with Lumiere Noire, though.
Well done Steven, but I'm going to have to go against your advise on blind buying Interlude Man and make it my next blind buy :)
Theres some talk on Patchouli 24 being reformulated, any information on that?
Hey Steven, what are your thoughts on Tobacco Vanille?
My List
1. Tom Ford Tuscan Leather
2. Creed Aventus
3. Roja Dove Creation E
4. Montale Intense Cafe
5. Dior Bois D' Argent
6. Creed Royal Oud
7. ByKilian A Taste of Heaven
8. Creed Sublime Vanille

looking dapper Steve, and them scents are great for a gentleman and a scholar as you are Steve..
Thank you very much, my friend!
Excellent top 10!! :) Video well presented!
My top fav is drakkar nior, david Beckham homme, ck1, jean paul gaultier le beau male, burberry weekend, kenneth cole black vintage, I think this are very great fragrances for any occasion
Great video and recommendations! You got me curious, so i have sampled both Red Aoud and White Aoud by Montale. You have to try the white...it is WAY more potent than red and it really does spread like bacteria like you say. i apply to the back of my hand then rub that 1 spray all over my arms off my hand. it helps even it out and make it less intense. You definitely have to try it if you havent already. a tad feminine in my opinion, but a nice rich scent either way.
I've tried 40 Knots and Comandante from Xerjoff Join the Club, and they remind me of department store designer fragrances.
threeupfront I will agree with your assessment of 40 Knots. I got a similar vibe from that one. More Than Words, Fatal Charm, and Shunkoin are truly unique and stand out, IMO. Thank you for watching!
Great list. Some of my favorite niche are Pulp, VIW, Silver Musk, Coney Island, Harrods Swarovski Oud (I don't have the bottle with the crystals)
StepHen/Steven, you have some outstanding frags on your list
Always loved Fahrenheit, cool water and Givenchy, oh yeah and Animale as well! I am a cologne freak! Lol great video!
Southpawwww Castillo Hahaha... you and I both! Thank you for watching!
Redolessence cool! ;)
=)
loved the comment about l'air :) great list!!!
Love your videos man keep it up
Great list buddy!!! I actually own and enjoy 8 of the 10...I can kick myself for not grabbing "Bond Face" before it went away! lol
Thank you, John! Have you tried the Bond, though?
Redolessence I have...I like it quite a bit. I had it in my hand to purchase at 1 point last year and something else caught my eye...and nose! lol I dropped it for another with all intentions to revisit but alas...that never came to pass! lol Im sure it will come across my computer at some point to purchase. The other one I do not own is P24...I sampled this very early on in my Fragrance journey and didnt care for it but I have to revisit it...lots have changed with my nose since then! lol Be well my friend...Happy T Day if we dont speak.
Likewise! Happy Thanksgiving Day! I understand what it's like. I have turned down many a purchase to make a different one and have missed out on opportunities in the process. Try P24 again! Let me know what you think!
You can still buy the Andy Warhol Bond on their website.
Always love your videos.
Thank you very much!
When is the designer list being released?
Excellent video and choices Steven. Looking sharp as well. What's the difference between Andy Warhol and Andy Warhol face edition?
Very good video. Have you tried Memoirs of a Trespasser? The drydown is similar to Patchouli 24, I think you'll like it. The opening and mid is completely different though.
Thank you! I don't own it, but I think CreedFragz34 sent me a sample of it a while ago. I have to revisit it! Thank you for the recommendation! I hope all is well.
Great list mate. Crazy question, is the Andy Warhol anything like thallium black😁
Good info but I think Versatility may be an unfair margin. What happens when a fragrance is aimed at capturing a specific Aura? For example, Heeley's Sel Marin. A marin Aquatic. Would it be fair to say it's limited because it's not so suited for say...clubbing?
I'm not going to spend mor money on cheap fragrances, i need to get some really good fragrance like your list.. I buy cheap because I like to discover the new smells
Hi great video, so would I be right in saying that More Than Words is your favourite all time fragrance ? I have have a bottle of Aventus and Green Irish Tweed but want to buy some more fragrence of that level. Thanks
Hi Steven!
Where is our designer list?
What a great video man!
Thank you for watching!

Here's my list in no particular order
1.creed aventus
2.creed original santal
3. Creed erolfa
4. Tom ford tuscan leather
5. Tom ford tobacco vanille
6. Tom ford noir de noir
7. Bond no. 9 bleecker st
8. Bobd no. 9 new haarlem
9. Francis kurkdjian aqua universalis
10. Byredo bal d'afrique
Only interlude form amouage house, is there any thing you like for that house ?
Hi, great review! Can you review Dior Oud Ispahan? And do you think it smells good on a man? Thank you.
Good luck!
It’s interesting I think Aventus has a pretty chubby lily of the valley note in the heart
Great great list.
If you had $300 and you could only buy one, maybe 2 fragrances that has it all what would it be?
hey since steven never got a chance to reply to you, i want to say aventus, hands down!
Looking clean bro!
Thank you!
Quick question, how long do montale fragrance last for, before it goes off?
Robert Eaton MONTALE is EXTRA STRONG, dont blind buy,buy a sample or test it in a store, and spray a little,TRUST ME...
All great Fragrances my man. I gotta get me a bottle of Pardon Nasomatto.
Thanks, man! I have been loving your content!
Thank man. Coming from a vet like you, that means a lot.
I'm looking to get into more niche fragrances, but some times the price tag doesn't allow me, lol. What's a good fragrance to start with in the niche world?
You know your stuff
Thank you so much!
cool selection :)
Arcus-Amouage!...check it out.
unique, sophisticated and mysterious.
Economising the few drops left in my bottle (hahaha)....don't know if l'll get the vintage (non-magnetic cap) version.
Where is Tobacco Vanille, Chergui, Mellisime Imperial..
I'm trying to find my signature scent, I currently own
Terre d' hermes, terre d' hermes tres fraiches, aventus (second bottle still no compliments), virgin island water, tom ford noir, cartier concentree and paco rabane one million . Thinking about buying amouge xxv will you recommend it?
Thanks !
+Sergio Garcia Brito
Question: have you got any complements on the others? consistent compliments? maybe is just you...people need to find you approachable to give you compliments. In my opinion, is not just about the fragrance.
hi steven
'olfactory euphoria' lol.
i like that description.lol
i tried some of those frags but sadly i cant pull it off.
eg.red aoud ,man, this frag was a shock to my olfactory senses.did not like it.
.it was as if i was in a kitchen for 24 hrs. spelling like spices.not for me.
the dior frag.i think i got a bottle without the notes.just alcohol.lol
.sent it back to the dior sales department.refund me.never tried to get another botlle.
in general your picks is just too daring for me.
dont like smoke and the heavy woods.lol.
Again its a matter of what you like and thats fine.l "respect that".lol
Sorry you had that experience with Bois d'Argent. The fragrance is a little bit on the lighter side. Red Aoud is a heavy hitter for sure. I can see it being overwhelming for many. I totally agree that it's a matter of personal tastes. Thank you for watching!
Bhjjhhvggvh.
"Spikes coming from the floor" (Duro)...hahaha.
Haha... I don't know what made me say that! =X
Huge like for montale red aoud ! :)
I believe Andy Warhol is back. You can buy the 50 ml version online again ...
what do you think of frank no. 2?
Quite disappointed that the untitled is discontinued. I spent a lot of time & money hunting for a "cinnamon" frag but to no avail
I know... same here. If I find any place online that starts selling reserve bottles, I'll let you know. L'Artisan is coming back with Tea for Two, though!
Redolessence I'd appreciate that, thanks
=)
My boyfriend just purchased Duro this weekend. OMG! It's wonderful! He has already received lots of compliments at work. It reminds me of a sexy man in a suit.
Nice list Steven :) oh btw I am Greek also :)
Awesome! But you live in the States, right?
Yes in Chicago
Is your Aventus 18b01?😁😁😁
My Aventus is the 13Z01 batch.
@@Redolessence it seems like the 01 batches are the way to go.
Can you update this one bro
isn't Dior designer?
frank akoto it is but they also make higher quality fragrances kinda like Tom Ford has nior, grey vetiver, black orchid ect then they got the private blend which is much more $ also higher quality, well the 1st fragrance he mentioned is like dior private blend line
erm, no Herod or Enigma? =)
suscribers, please, what is a niche fragrance?
+bugiardo100 niche defines more the top end... the most expensive, better pure ingredients used.. where as designer brands like Chanel, Hugo Boss, YSL are just made for the masses at a normal price most people can afford.
Niche is a lot more expensive and really only for the people who either have money or are more serious about fragrances
Peter Carter thank you so much
Aventus smells horrible , rank pineapple and wet apple mixed with a burning factory smoke , big let down from creed people I know who wear it only do so to brag about the price if it cost £5 from Avon nobody would touch it , green Irish tweed and original santal are much better as is Tom ford Tuscan leather
