    They are useful in survival! They can carry crates from packing stations to the trader or stuff between a base and a farm.

    technically, most things you make in sm you don't need, but it's a matter of if you want to make a factory or not. Not necessary, but it's certainly more fun than just the necessities.

    8:00 Technically not indefinite, as when you go over 3 or 4 chunks or so, when stuff start despawning, the far part will despawn and brake it, or cause a lot of lag. Not really sure about that, but feel like that was the case.

    • @oggi42gaming77
      @oggi42gaming77  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am pretty sure you are right. Guess my claim needs further experimentational proof. But still around 900% more ressource efficient compared to a conveyor that uses rotating pipes on a controller. It's always good to have some more controllers due to weight limitations at some point anyway...

    there needs to be a conveyor belt update to the game so you can drag and place belts for a factory. this might be a factory update. and they said in devblog 13 there improving the physics that are lagging the game for havving too many lose objects

      Modpack or Modpack Beta has a conveyor belt part that moves objects on top of it. It has no moving parts so there should be no lag, but the mechanical designs are so much cooler.
