So, if anyone sees this - if possible ProfNCognito - I'd like to know if the gyro can be made more precise, without making it too much bigger. In my testings, I couldn't get the sensors to activate until the gyro reached a seventeen degrees inclination, so I cannot use it for what I intended for, a small two thruster, glitchless flyer.
I did some experimenting, and found something... Interesting? Simply replacing the wheels by tier 3 concrete blocks and leaving the sensors to zero degrees actually seems to not only make the gyro more precise, it's range going from five degrees to twenty before "glitching" and loosing in precision. However, the way the sensors activate is very weird. Since the concrete blcok spins, really fast, the sensors actually go out in pulses that goes faster and faster the steepest the angle of the gyro is, reaching 100% uptime at twelve degrees. I think this might actually be a incredibly useful feature, as it provides somewhat of a gradual step up of the alignement for thrusters and such. More testing is required, to know how intensive use will affect the relialibilty.
Upon more extensive testing, with a max speed controller and fairly random angles, it seems to be fairly reliable. I will update this comment when I will have tested this on a thruster platoform.
After a few more minutes, I realized that giving the sensors an outward angle of five degrees actually seems to benefit the contraption, giving it a few more degrees of precision, from five to twenty-four, before it looses precision.

@@ProfNCognito damn, I didn't expect you to answer this so fast lol. Also, do you mind if I do a video after the finished flying bike when it's finished? I'll definitely put this video in the description and say how I based off my design from yours. You deserve a lot more subscribers, and even if I have less than twenty, I really want to do that regardless - any subscribers I can earn you will be worth it, you're an awesome builder.
Also, I didn't plan to use this account for for writing this message but I guess it makes more sense as it is my gaming channel (which is also the pnly one I upload on) so yeah. Also, I plan to use that flyer in survival mode, so it's why I'm only using two thrusters and not more.
I just thought about the fact I could use the ramp-up effect of a sensor picking up a spinning block that is incline by a controller on loop linked to a seat for a completely gradual - but very slow reacting - thrust control.

@@ProfNCognito I'll probably start the work on it after I'm finished recording an episode or two of Below Zero.
Also, the wheels are a key part to the contraption - it makes the gyro keep it's orientation way better - but since they are less precise than the two concret blocks, I just added them both ontop of them and you know what? It works even better now.

Are wheels sufficiently heavy to provide enough torque to stabilise a flying machine, or would it be more effective to use 4 heavy blocks on a cross piece? And is there any way in vanilla to set up a spud gun to be mouse operated? Reason I ask, is that I want to design a helicopter gunship for two people - one flying, the other operating the gun and, ideally, I'd want the gun to be aimed using a mouse (wsad being less intuitive for my young grandson)... Alternatively, is it possible to have mouse control over pitch and yaw in the flight controls in case he wants to fly?

@@xsorrgaming2351 the wheel spinning provides a gyroscopic force. When the wheels spin I believe it is more stable because it provides a centrifugal force which makes it so that when the whole bae tilts the centrifugal force re aligns everything that was put out of place from the tilt, thus making it more effective.
