Thanks for the tip. Looking to possibably add 'something' to the top of my 16'. What is the total weight of the setup?

The total weight that Drake has specified is 65 pounds. I highly recommend it. Gives you great cover.

I've been hunting with this blind for several years. After you grass it in, the top gets extremely heavy and is a huge pain in the ass. This blind sucks ass. It's was a good idea, but it sucks to hunt out of

@galaxys7650 I agree that the top could use some help. Mainly a more sturdy frame and adjustment. I do not grass mine in much for that reason and I tend to hunt the bank with hanging Spanish moss that helps break it up a good bit. Probably not ideal for hunting open marsh or small grass islands.

I have been hunting with this blind for two seasons now, the only issues have been limited visibility and the amount of time it takes to raise the top for those overhead passing shots. I wish it opened in the center and dropped toward the side curtains, We have gone to hunting it in the partially open position until I can come up with some modifications.

That's the same thing I do, hunt with it partially open. If you check out some of my other videos, you can see how I strung the plastic grass to cover the opening. It works well for me and almost never flare birds. Just cover your face or paint up and you're good to go!

I’m not too crazy about drilling into my brand new duck boat. Think I’m gonna go with a beaver tail boat blind.

It all depends on the layout of your boat. There are plenty of ways to make it inconspicuous. The last thing you want is to lose your blind on the interstate because of clips or clamps. Just my thoughts.

Would this work for a boat with a console? I have a lowe stinger

Absolutely, this is perfect for it.

How does does the frame go up and down around the motor/handle?

I just put the tiller at full turn, and it will clear it.

The back bar hinges. Pull a pin and it goes to one side.

So, how ya liking the blind so far? Do you have any updated photos of it grassed out and in use

I have a few duck hunting videos and it looks like you found at least one of them. The blind is great. Had no issues with it throughout the season and the grass stayed on well. Very durable and I have only good things to say after a full season of use.

You won't be disappointed. I loved mine all last season. Makes things so much easier especially in a time crunch. Also a lot warmer on a windy day!
