I built one just like this one. Saved a bundle of money 💰. Good job young man keep the tradition of hunting going one day at a time. Nice shop by the way. From Cajun 1 take care
Did mine similar even with the pieces throwed over the boat when i put them back in the boat everything got wet . I didn`t make a roof to come over my head I just threw some Burlap across the hole and made separate compartments that way but there was only 2 hunters in my boat . The blind looks good can`t` wait to see the hunt good luck .
Instead of burlap, I recommend 7 ft. x 100 ft. Black Polypropylene Deer Fence and light cam net, with raffia grass zap strapped on the outside. Back and front nets rolled on PVC pipe which spins on the front and back crossbars (like a papertowel roll). A C-clamp setup could be a detachable option instead of the bolted-down brackets.
Hi. Ive been there done that. Advice is painful at first but burlap when wet stinks and I just never get quite used to it and found a better way. Ducks are flaring on plain old burlap. I was covering my blind with it and mine is gore tex underneath. Old school camo pattern used to work just plain.. I suggest a black version of gore tex or whatever the new thing is. Above that black nylon netting and tie raffia mats and grass to the netting. Its water tight. Wind proof and if your clever you can zip up the corners with velcro and heat it. You'll get there. You're so close.
Great blind! Gonna scale one down for a 12ft V bottom. We could hunt with y’all! Just watching and listening to y’all, you have a good time with friends and family! Hunt safe
Bimini fitting work real well for that. 2 Jaw slides and a couple ends. You need to sand the inside of the fittings a bit, to get them to fit over the EMT.
good blind I like the build the one thing I did not like is that those couplers are terrible. I used them on my first blind and had nothing but problems. I ended up buying the corners 1 size bigger than drilling and bolting instead of couplers
One of the best DIY blinds I’ve seen. Well done.

Great blind build, love it
Can’t thank you enough I now have the courage and information to do this myself 😅
I seriously appreciate it

Nothing hides better than burlap. The one problem I've had is it gets so heavy when it gets wet.
Great vid. Thanks for sharing. Making one now. Hope it turns out ok

That’s a great diy blind. Thanks for sharing 👍
Not really burlap tots and mildews.
Can I get a list of what materials y’all used?
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
Glad I could help
I’m thinking about doing this to my boat, how did this work out while hunting in it?
how did y'all do the top cover. you went over it briefly but I am trying to add that piece to my blind.

Thanks for the idea🤙🏼
