The first time I watched that song my stomach legit dropped as soon as the mood and the lighting changed. Its so well made. The camera zoom effect that looks like hes coming closer while the background is gettinng further away is my favourite thing about thw video. That's a classic Alfred Hitchcock camera move. Dolly forward with the camera, and zoom out at the same time. The person's face stays the same size but the background telescopes way out behind them. Hitchcock probably didn't invent it but he liked using it.
