    • @davidbonner4556
      @davidbonner4556 4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      He started getting permission first after an incident back in the days before his first LP, when he was still recording solo playing accordion in one of the Cal Poly men's rooms... All his stuff was played on the Dr. Demento radio show then, and he was a frequent live guest.
      He did a parody of Billy Joel's "It's still rock and roll to me" and called it "It's still Billy Joel to me" and nearly got sued. I heard it one time on Dr. Demento, then never again. Another interesting datum is that most of Al's backing band used to be staffers for the syndicated Dr. Demento show.

      That's a classic Alfred Hitchcock camera move. Dolly forward with the camera, and zoom out at the same time. The person's face stays the same size but the background telescopes way out behind them. Hitchcock probably didn't invent it but he liked using it.

Used with the reverse of the zoom (zooming in instead of out) by Zoran Perisic in the front projection scenes in Superman, of course, with the front projector's zoom synchronized with the cameras, so that Superman appears to fly towards the camera while the background appears to stay the same size.

    Don't tell me the Illuminati doesn't exist while Bernie is getting squashed for the second time in a row! 🤣

    • @Swenglish
      @Swenglish 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's not the Illuminati, it's billionaires. The Illuminati was a free thinker club back in the day who got persecuted by those in power for daring to have new ideas that challenged power structures (the new world order was about giving the power to the people instead of the aristocracy and the church). The real "illuminati conspiracy" is the aristocracy and the church painting the illuminati as villains and enlightenment philosophy as dangerous. Like they're doing to Sanders right now.

    • @Swenglish
      @Swenglish 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @D4nK No, those are different things. The Illuminati, which no longer exists, stood for the opposite of what those billionaires stand for.

    • @hytak18
      @hytak18 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @D4nK lol it's definitely your mouth that is an anus. Just spewing all this vague garbage that took you two minutes to read on a conspiracy website for 12 year Olds.

      @@shannonrhoads7099 No, what "they" (those who use capitalism and religion as means of control) want is for you to fall in line behind exactly the kind of hierarchies the Illuminati tried to challenge and were hunted down for.
