My Bluetooth stopped working and I couldn’t reconnect to it. In the Bluetooth settings there is an option called Bluetooth Memory Clear. I selected this, cleared it, and was able to reconnect my phone to the stereo again.

Yes pioneer radios when u have lots a bluetooth phones connected you will have connection problems.you need to erase it all and re run bluetooth again.also green parking wite has to be connected to ground or bypass switch to work bluetooth functions.
Don't through all that. Had the same issue. I solved it by not even touching the headunit. Just hard reset/factory reset the system from settings. Works.
I have a 2660 nex and a gm11 rp5 I comes with the 3.5 swc plug and installed it. The swc wires seemed to run right into the harness yet I’ve had zero response. Am I missing something? Thanks so much😊

Me grounding wires was a nightmare waiting to happen. 😂 I engaged my parking brake, turned the car off for a minute, turned it back on and my blutooth was back. Phone connected right away.
I own a buick century with a pioneer and we have to have 2 people 1 to pair and 1 to crush your finger pushing the ground wire onto the door panel. Was pretty tedious but after you paired you didn't have to do it anymore so it was alright
The parking brake color wire won't change because its on a boat. You'll have to check the harness guide to be sure. If its the one that came with the unit, it should be brown. Good luck!
I have a avic-x930BT and I can't access blue tooth menu's at all even with the electronic parking brake engaged...Do I need to ground the green wire from the head unit ? plus the parking break wire. Thanks in advance.
I don't want to give you the wrong advice. I just had to ground that one parking brake wire. I know there is another setting where you can change parking brake to battery power, maybe try that since you have the electronic parking brake

@@tonycervantes4816 To fix the problem, the parking brake was grounded. The normal ground wire from the headunit should already be grounded. If you're asking about combining the parking brake wire and the ground wire and then grounding them together, it should be fine. Keep in mind that in the future, you will need that parking brake wire to do the DVD bypass mod.
Does anyone have issues with auto- reconnect ? after auto-reconnecting my AVH always gets Lagged, the music keeps getting lagged, thereafter i should forget it from the connection and re connect manually several times ? any solutions for this ?

The reset button from the stereo was not able to clear the previous bluetooth devices, your video did the trick and have unlocked a lot of greyed out and unavailable settings! I left the parking brake wire connected to the ground, did you had issues leaving it like that?
That’s what mine is doing. My factory reset is grayed out and my Bluetooth memory is full and I can’t reset it or delete any old phones out of the memory and I’m clueless
@@davidceniceros9705 I did. I grounded the parking break wire to my constant ground black wire and it opened all the settings up. I haven’t had any problems leaving it grounded since then either. All is good!

Whoa that's a new problem that I haven't heard of. Hmmmm 🤔 You know how they built in the safety features so that people can't watch DVDs etc when driving? It almost sounds like that is happening to you.

The easiest thing to do is google your model number and wiring harness color code. Chances are that you'll only have one or two options to choose from since the rest will be already wired up.

I was planning on hooking that wire up to the parking break. So does this mean if I hooked it up I would only be able to use blue tooth while I was driving....that would totally suck

Hmmm. Very strange if you can make calls. My first thought is the volume on the phone is down, or the mute is on for the song. My next thought would be that the phone is on like a do not disturb or something.

Pioneer,kenwood,jvc,stinger if you dont ground the brake wire bluetooth fuctions will not work at all.in order to delete history on phones you need to have brake wire grounded

If you don’t have much slack, easiest way is to loosen a screw on the head unit frame and ground the wire there, worked like a charm

So you connected two wires coming out of the head unit or the green parking brake to your cars black ground?

Yes pioneer radios when u have lots a bluetooth phones connected you will have connection problems.you need to erase it all and re run bluetooth again.also green parking wite has to be connected to ground or bypass switch to work bluetooth functions.
Note (on mvh-a210bt) you still need to do a FACTORY RESET via device menu after connecting light green wire to device black ground wire.

That's why you ground it instead. It's a safety feature that really isn't all that safe.
Some of the newer pioneer units need a bypass kit
You'd only be able to connect a new Bluetooth device while in park within the parking brake engaged
I just earthed it to the back of the stereo unit with a grub screw! 👍

Your radio will still have a parking brake wire. It’s a safety feature on all radios , so people can watch movies while driving.

So watching this video mine was the same, i applied my parking brake and boom no need to take apart the dash
