Loved how he provoked the suspects. Don't think there will ever be another show like mentalist
Psych it’s a little more silly but generally has an intelligent and observant main character
@@overshotprince I was going to mention Psych, too :)
Psych was on 2 years earlier BTW
I saw Psych, i found it goofy. I found mentalist better the psych.
@@aveenashbatra6043 I like both shows, but you are correct.
I get it. Jane doesn't have any evidence to incriminate the guy so he insults him. Guy punches him, now Jane's got an excuse to arrest him. RIP Jane's nose.
Lucky he found a perfectly good nose just left in some concrete.
i think it a way
jane once said: "innocent man would punch me when I ask did you kill ...."
and i think he was innocent lol
pls tell me what is the end of episode
@@shintafurnitureofficial2363 Pops didn't murder the security guard or the 15 year-old girl, but the killers' confessions did provide evidence to charge him with statutory rape.
@@shintafurnitureofficial2363 he didnt kill her
The lengths Jane goes to to get justice for people he could not benefit from cuz they're dead. And people call him sociopath or psychopath.
After watching all of Mentalist, I can confirm Jane uses provocation as a weapon alot. It's the clearest cut solution to getting a guy in custody without evidence.
"You were laying her like carpet. " HAH! Jane sure did know how to turn a phrase, didn't he?
I don't know, Cho's "He was banging your wife like a bass drum" was funnier.
How on earth is Jane's nose still intact after all these years of getting pounded...?
i swear
Its called a fake punch in movies

The answer to your question is
Ms. Teresa Lisbon
@@stephaniee bingo
"I have no superiors!" It says all about jane
Ah the old "piss them off enough to provoke them into assaulting me" tactic
It IS one of his specialties. Angry people are more prone to mistakes.
As a consultant, Jane is the best detective I have seen on tv. Forget Sherlock Holmes
Jane's character was actually somewhat inspired by Sherlock Holmes
Hey, watch it! Sherlock Holmes is KING! But this guy is really good, but Columbo good w/a touch of Harry Nile
@@ame- Really? to me they seem like 2 very different persons.
@@Taylor20125 that's why I said somewhat😄 I read somewhere that the show's creator, Bruno Heller, said that Patrick Jane was a type of Sherlock character, mixed with a street psychic. Those are just some light inspirations, and Jane is a whole unique character on his own!
02:17 she present her badge upsidown xD
Damn that's a nice catch! I completely missed it!
"You just made the worst mistake of your puny little life."
Me: you're about to get 25 to life with what you say next to Jane
Jane: 'Nah, this won't even crack my personal top 20.'
There's got to be a youtube video of all the times Patrick gets hit for telling someone they committed murder
there is, all the punches and slaps
I loved this show. It's was fun
It still is
I miss this show more than being happy...
So miss these great old shows.
3:20 and I have no superiors... In more ways than 1
this guy is obsessed with breaking noses LOL
one of the scenes i always remember!!
I love Jane, but there is something satisfying about seeing him get punched for the shit he pulls sometimes. He usually does deserve it.
Such a great scene!
Yes
Any formal IRL, would have made them put on HardHats and vests to be inside the fenced zone.
th-cam.com/video/caXCmhV0O5E/w-d-xo.html
Not on TV.
That was an heavy punch
"an"?
I love the Mentalist!! Never knew there was a TH-cam channel. Subscribed!
I know me too love the show but I was raised in Poland and there are pp who hate it anyway pp in Poland are very rude and unpleasant don't know why 🙁
Jane got punched to get the man arrested!
The only time he ever bled when he's gotten one to the face lol
After this one he just got used to it. lol
Wait. it was smoothed out and no one noticed their trowel hitting his nose?
Lol good point. Maybe the person floats up as the concrete is solidified? Not sure
After some of the flat work I've seen some people do, I honestly wouldn't be surprised.
@@seanriopel3132 true that
@@Min-e5 I had to frame a basement door for a bathroom and over the 34 inch span the door jacks were an inch difference. I would actually trip on some spots it was so wavy.
Could be the tip of the nose was flexible enough to be pressed down when running over it with a trowel. If they were rushing and just smoothing everything once or in one go with a board or something it's theoretically possible to have missed it
Awesome show.
i loved it
Hell of a punch
It's Nathan from Person of Interest.
For a fella that hates violence, he sure knows how to bait morons into them.
Jane understands the advantage gained by getting suspects' emotions to compromise them -- both as a legal point (being able to get the CBI to arrest his assailants) and as a psychological point (learning tells and manipulating the suspect into confessing their wrongdoings).
For a man driven as Jane, a broken nose here or there is a small price to pay to lock up a bad guy. Occasionally he loses battles, but he's always sure to win the war.
I watched this show for 2 reasons….it was good…and Patrick Jane was friggin HOT!
No "Pervy perv perv" this time? Awwwww
Good thing there's a spare nose
Don't you get copyright claims.. ??
Probably no because this is a clip and not the full episode.
@@alejandroperez4664 my friend posted 1 clip... of 2-3 minutes... of a movie.. and got a copyright claim. That the video cannot be monitised...
@@rajatpandey9424 This video likely got claimed, but people often upload clips like these out of passion for the show, rather than to make money :)
@@alejandroperez4664 it's enough to get a copyright claim
15 is legal here 💀
Jesus I hope not.
Minute 1:50 . Lol. 36 inch floor with no bar. What in the real world is that application but theater?
S1 E3?
Hey its Ilya Koslov from The Blacklist
Oh yeah, Liz's semi-daddy
No it's Christian from Devil wears Prada
You mean the main chick from The Craft

@@lrc2k8 I mean, I’m not wrong, she IS in the scene.
If this show weren't so funny, it would never get away with being this contrived.
“Smell ya later” was not applied 2/10 not impressed. 😅
So, is that a yes or no??
but did the guy actually slept with the girl?
He did, but wasn't the one who killed her.
Such a boring show other than the villain there is nothing interesting about this show
🤣
The ability to speak does not make you intelligent
@@bwhite8187 Ahhhh speak Qui Gon…Speak!!
I love that quote lol! But seriously; why is someone even watching the clip to comment about a show that’s boring haha? I think I smell a filthy cave troll lurking about lol!
Again…great comeback!
something tells me only the third world countries watch this
bruh
