Anyways, I'm back with this compilation of everyone in The Mentalist noticing (read: shipping) Jane and Lisbon. She likes him. He likes her. Everyone knows. Except them..

I always loved when Red John had painted the victims blood on Teresa's face while she was unconscious, and how Jane was beside himself with such concern for her and trying to find water, and then how he tenderly cleaned her face off. That was such a show of deep love.

Or when he was nearly drowned by a suspect and Lisbon didn't get there until the perp was gone and Jane was floating face down in the water (s4 ep10). How frantic she was when she thought he was dead... That was also a show of deep love, and she didn't even really consciously realize it yet...

"We wanted you to be the first to know", said the last people to know, besides Cho, of course.
Abbott picked up on it much quicker than those who had known them for years. I loved that he was a big softie and romantic.
I'll never forget when in the first season they had a dance together 'just for fun', but it looked so intimate with Lisbon's head on Jane's shoulder. That should have tipped us off right away.
To be fair, the others watched the slow burn, Abbott entered the scene as it was becoming possible. From Theresa putting herself in his way for Jane, to Patrick, having completed his quest, getting a little more aware of the rest of the world and Theresa discovering that she didn't like not having Jane around. Things were coming to a head and he was paying attention to them anyway.

For me, they were meant to be together from the very first season! Only Lisbon could soothe the tormented soul of Patrick after what he had gone through during the Red John period. Besides all the wittiness and intellect, he always yearned for companionship, and Teresa stood with him like a rock-solid wall through all the ups and downs. Undoubtedly, they are my favorite on-screen couple...I would have been devastated if there wasn't a happy ending to The Mentalist. 😁

@Debapriya Sen Jane n Lisbon are the strongest onscreen couple; they both are so endearing that their happiness makes us happy ; Jane gets his life back in the end and it’s so heart warming to know that the person who completes his life was Lisbon….. theirs was a love story written in the stars

i only wish it could have happened much sooner and they had never canceld this show I came very late to it but I adore this show more than any i have ever watched--to me they are soul mates...The looks, the deep feeling from within make them so special.---.intimacy we see in a very special way.--actually very romantic...he loves to make her happy....xoxo
I always say: never seen a show with a more respectfull ending for the fans. Writers gave us everything we wanted (except more episodes LOL).

Yes me too. Went thru a phase for most of the seasons, particularly after Season 3, wanting to play her sister or cousin or something! We were bobsie twinning, for awhile, on the hair! I had it first lol & she copycatted me 🤪🤣💇🤗🍀

Someone was "reading" Lisbon in front of Jane "you're a little in love with Jane" (or something like that) and neither one acknowledged the comment to confirm or deny which I loved. They just pretended he didn't say that.
Best Lisbon/Jane moments
The final scene when she tells him she's pregnant.
"Will you marry me," scene.
Him getting on the plane to say I love you. So romantic! She apologizes to the woman beside her and the woman said, "Honey, every woman on this plane wants to be you." (Yeah, they do).
She shows up to at airport security to tell him she loves him too.
He pulled her chair towards him and told her it was okay that she invited her brothers to the wedding. He's so tender towards her and knows her so well.
When they sang over a dead body. Remember that? It was Kansas City. It was funny. Before they got together.
Another before - she walks in, puts her purse down, takes off her jacket, he picks up her jacket while telling her that they're going out, puts it back on her, pulls her hair out from her jacket, and picks up her purse - it was almost one move.
Before - him frantic over getting water - so he could wash the blood off her face.
Funniest Mentalist moment...
Lisbon and Cho going wedding dress shopping. I would not have thought Cho would be into that but turned out he knew what he was doing.
Also, Cho smiled more in the last episode than he did throughout the entire series.
Same heree I just finished it a few days ago and I'm also thinking what to with myself now 😂. I literally even stalled and avoided watching teh episodes but i couldn't hold myself for long. 😭🥲
P. S it's funny how I remember every little special moment Patrick and Teresa shared with each other from the staft of the season till the end. Also I never understood why the writers or directors never made them call each other by there first names later on lol

6:16 PEDRO PASCAL IS EVERYWHERE
I feel Jane and Lisbon had one of the best slow burn romances on TV. Both growing together and apart, learning to trust and rely on each other, and going above and beyond. As this video shows, a handful of people knew there was something more given the lengths both would go to protect the other. From Lisbon having to "threaten" Bosco with revealing a deep secret despite her respect for him to get Jane out of prison to Jane trying to get Lisbon her job back in season 2 and 4 then later wanting her to have an FBI job offer in season 6. I think Rigsby, Van Pelt, Bosco, Hightower, and others knowing early on was an interesting hint at how much they observed the strong connection Jane and Lisbon had. Abbott ending up being the biggest shipper was icing on the cake!
There are little hints here and there, but Jane and Lisbon had to grow and overcome their own challenges, feelings, and the conflict between them before they could come together. I think the fact that Jane truly wanted her to be happy, even with Pike, towards the end of season 6 said a lot about how much he loved her. Even willing to let her go if it was too late between them. Her giving up Pike to give things a try with Jane says a lot about her own deep love for the chaotic but fiercely loyal blonde.
My only wish is that we could have had 21 or 22 episodes of season 7 to explore things a bit more, but what we got was good for a solid ending that there will be challenges and tough times, but we must "always look on the bright side" as Jane says to Lisbon.

I just finished this series and I can't move on. I tried watching other series, but I'm still stuck here, Jisbon Forever, the mentalist is the best series I've ever watched. But I need another show, haha, I did but I failed, I'll just go back to TH-cam to see the mentalist's edited video and finally I failed again to move on. Is there another series like the mentalist? whose romance story is not toxic and has a happy ending.
Have you tried watching X-files? I watched The Mentalist about 3 years ago and I thought I would never find such a beautiful couple again. But then I found X-files months ago and my god, Mulder and Scully are surreal. The dynamics of couples are similar, in a way. I think you will like it! 🥰

I knew eventually they would end up together but to me they were better off as friends I just didn't feel they had a romantic connection. Now Castle and Beckett chemistry was instant they tried so hard to keep them just friends longer than needed.
