It's also a pretty terrible idea to use the fence and the miter gauge at the same time. Which is why he's just rocketing offcuts with his miter test. lol But it's a review not an instructional video. Hopefully nobody takes any safety lessons from this video.
The need a 10" blade now :) No biggie but when you are ripping keep the bigger piece to the fence. If you want to take an inch off from a 2x4 for example, set the fence to 2 1/2" and let the waste be on the left side of the blade. Tip from an old carpenter :)
What about cutting off a full 4'x8' sheet of plywood? What's the best practices way to cut? My first table saw, and all I have is full sheets. Little nervous of kickbacks.
thank you very much, I have seen many videos but honestly your video is very well done, very well explained, very interesting and very professional thank you very much for the video 😉👍
Just wanted to thank you for this video. It really helped me to put the thing together right. Probably would have lobbed of a couple digits if I didn't watch this
Loved the saw, love Milwaukee and I’m returning it Monday. The saw is fine if you need to a small amount of ripping with breaks between cuts. However if you’re trying to use to do continuous ripping 200’ feet or so the battery over heats and shuts down. The battery also takes almost two hours to charge. The fabric dust shroud directly above motor interferes with the bevel had to force it to get to zero. -3 degrees hardly seems possible. That and the cast aluminum motor mount assembly has a really fragile section directly to the left of riving knife, first one I ordered came broken out of box. Bunch of features I loved, weight, portability, power, etc, the power supply isn’t up to snuff. Don’t expect it to replace a corded saw.
DeWalt does this well, but like you I’m already team Red and even got Milwaukee adaptor plates for my two DeWalt tools so they are now kinda team red too.
Guys it’s super easy to make one out of a dead old battery. Just gut it out. You need to by a decent power supply unit to run it but they are dirt cheap on amazon.
Great video dude, I’m a professional cabinet builder/finish carpenter and I’ve been thinking about getting this as my pick up install saw. I’m currently running a Bosch gts10 on a ruesseau stand in the field but this thing seams even more portable and I already am in the Milwaukee platform. Again solid review. 👍
Thanks Carpenter! Yeah, I was impressed with the M18 miter saw, so figured this would be cool, but I was more impressed than I thought I would be by this. Thanks for the comment buddy
6:43 you should take a calliper and measure with in both ends to confirm if its square, its the blade that makes clean cut not the saw itself.. accuracy is what matters
Do you know of any other, aftermarket stands that this saw will work with? I've seen some really nice stands that, first of all, seems sturdier ... but also have wheels and collapse to move.
TRZ i have a ridgid R4510 and dewalt power station. Will this table saw make me want to stop using that combination and adopt the cordless milwaukee? I have plenty of m18 tool and HO batteries. I work mostly at home but may be getting some work away from the garage over the rest of the yr.
Going back to watch ur reviews on these I’m looking at getting one myself 👌🏽 did u ever think 4 years later wood would cost so much seeing you go threw wood is fun 😂
@Tool Review Zone - You’re welcome and thank you too. 😊👍🏾 I actually just ordered the kit about 30 minutes ago. Looking for to it because I’ve always wanted one. Believe it or not, this will actually be my very first ever table saw. I use a professional JET brand at work, but I needed one to do my own personal projects at home and for side jobs.
The Milwaukee cordless table saw looks better than Dewalt but if anyone is going to get the 12" cordless flexvolt miter saw the debate is kinda over unless you're willing to carry the 2 different chargers and batteries.
@@pf5658 If you have the Dewalt 12" flexvolt corded/cordless miter saw it makes sense to get the Dewalt cordless table saw since they use the sane battery.
6:13 i can tell by eye its inacurate cut bottom is longer than the top, can you cut 4 peaces 45 degree and put them in frame and show how accurate the cuts are?
@@joe3055 yeah but when you test accuracy you just cut 4 peace and make frame ez ? when accuracy is shit you just say "its bad camera angle" :D correct ? :)
Good video. Two things though, you should take the inch off the other side of the 2 x 4. I have two employees who got seriously hurt that way. Second thing is it’s pronounced r-y-v-i-n-g knife not spelled that way
kingofthecrease30 I am going to get a table saw one of these days and I might just make a arse and you tube video of me using it and it will be my first you tube video
The DeWalt has a slightly inferior battery but also has AC adaption making it better in many ways. It’s all about what team you are already on. I’m team red because I started out doing plumbing and that’s a Milwaukee specialty.
The dewalt takes like 30 turns to raise the blade and the Milwaukee battery is better. Time will tell on the build quality but generally Milwaukee has made better tools in the past.
Did everyone with this get the stand? I thought it was part of the base "bare tool" model...but mine has no stand. They didn't even have stands for sale where I bought it, so was really surprised to realize it's not built in.
Renaissance Man ok, was just getting a little concerned bout you. Btw just make sure you don't keep that trash can anywhere close to those tools you have, wouldn't want you to have to call the fire department!!
Tool Review Zone that’s exactly how I did it, haha. For those of you also having this problem, they don’t tell you 2 things: 1: the numbers on the legs that match the number for the frame pieces attach juxtaposing to the numbers on the frame. I know it’s confusing, but In other words, if the sticker says “1” on the frame, the “1” sticker on the leg should be facing INWARD not out. The same goes for the “2” & “3” stickers. 2: the narrower frame may seem like it doesn’t fit properly inside the wider frame when you try to cross them, but it does. You need to first stick the legs of the narrow frame through, then drag it all the way to the top of the wider frame to get the supporting cross-bar through. It requires some finesse, but it fits.
Great video...was about to ask about dust collection, but you answered that at the end... thanks and God bless
I just got one of these and I love it! I always use it instead of my Ridgid 10" corded saw even in my garage!
You’re looking for major kick back on that 2-4 cutting the small side against the fence.
It's also a pretty terrible idea to use the fence and the miter gauge at the same time. Which is why he's just rocketing offcuts with his miter test. lol
But it's a review not an instructional video. Hopefully nobody takes any safety lessons from this video.
Entertaining and direct.....plenty of cutting and adjusting in this vid. Thanks!

@m.n It is common table saw safety noob :) but keep on doing it that way. It suits you :)

Haha. Glad it helped and I really appreciate the feedback Erik!!!
Hey, tool review zone, I'm in a market to buy a milwaukee table saw. I would like to know how load is the .milwaukee table saw.
Not to bad at all. Definitely more quiet than a plug in

It looks good. I have all my battery tools in milwaukee. But i would like to see a adapter to use a cord on it.
Yeah, I have heard a few mention that that before.
DeWalt does this well, but like you I’m already team Red and even got Milwaukee adaptor plates for my two DeWalt tools so they are now kinda team red too.

Upon installing the blade is it normal on free spin check a clicking sound
Excellent review... I was looking for good affordable portable table saw. Father's day is right around the corner :)
Great vid
Thanks Chuck!
Very good Tool,Does it come with a battery?
Very nice
Great video, very instructional
Great video. One question. Will this run a dado stack?
Incra Miter Gauges will fit this?
Do you know of any other, aftermarket stands that this saw will work with? I've seen some really nice stands that, first of all, seems sturdier ... but also have wheels and collapse to move.
Do you know which blade this comes with in the box? I know by the video it’s 24t 8 1/4 but what kind? Thanks
if needed, would you be able to use a dado stack? ...but then, is there 8 1/4 dado set on the mkt?
Yes you can use a 6” dado. You will have to order the dado plate from Milwaukee no store sells them
That blade looks really thin for a table saw blade? Nice review.👍🏻

Great review, looks like an awesome saw!
Definitely awesome Tomorrows Tools!
Going back to watch ur reviews on these I’m looking at getting one myself 👌🏽 did u ever think 4 years later wood would cost so much seeing you go threw wood is fun 😂
Haha, if ii would have know, I would have held on to every piece and sold it this month 😆👊
Cool👍
Great video question is after you have had it a few years what are your thoughts On it. Still a great saw ??
Still love it 👊 I did an updated video on it.
4:29 starts booging down cut video then 4:33 cuts very smooth no bogging down lmao hahaha..
A red dewalt - everything exactly the same as dewalt 745
Been trying to decide between this and the Dewalt unit for quite a while now. Think I’ll go with this one. Great review.👍🏾😊
Thank for the feedback P F!!!

@Kroban3 - Dewalt 12” cordless? Never heard of it. Aren’t they all 8-14” saws?
@@pf5658

I have one wish it could cut 3 1/2 inch stuff. I still love it tho super handy
It can. Turn that stuff around and push tru☺🤗
great video!! ty i am geeting one
Good review, bro!
Thanks Carlos!
Why don't make with 10" blade?
Did you have to calibrate this out of the box?
Mine was spot on 👊
6:13 i can tell by eye its inacurate cut bottom is longer than the top, can you cut 4 peaces 45 degree and put them in frame and show how accurate the cuts are?

TRZ I was wondering if that table saw had storage for a spare saw blade? Peace brother
Did not see one buddy
Good video. Two things though, you should take the inch off the other side of the 2 x 4. I have two employees who got seriously hurt that way. Second thing is it’s pronounced r-y-v-i-n-g knife not spelled that way
great review just not enough uses of the words "beastly" and "smooth" lol great vid thanks
I'll have to kick it up a notch next time bro lol
My Dewalt has a 35" rip capasity
I may need to check that tape out, aka (run it over)
I meant to say 32 inch rip size. 2 days ago I saw the new. Table saw at the Home Depot where I work. Keep up the good reviews.
The Dewalt is nice. Would like to get my hands on it. Thanks Gary
Ooh you where not using any guards on the table saw I hope you still have all your fingers
kingofthecrease30 I am going to get a table saw one of these days and I might just make a arse and you tube video of me using it and it will be my first you tube video
nice!
Exact copy of the DeWALT???
That's what came to my mind at first Ryan, but that probably not a bad thing I guess
The DeWalt has a slightly inferior battery but also has AC adaption making it better in many ways. It’s all about what team you are already on. I’m team red because I started out doing plumbing and that’s a Milwaukee specialty.

You didn’t mention dado blades.
You tube hit me with a Dewalt cordless table saw add on this vid.
Lol go figure
Nice review how much is a retail price and can you give me a second one for me just kidding you take care take care of the kids
Haha, it about $549 for the saw, battery and charger. I put the link in the description below buddy
Tool Review Zone thank you so much
Any time buddy !
Tool Review Zone $1177 here in Australia for all 3.
Dayuumm
Mfw he put the fence on the bolts for the left side and said "if you want it closer for some reason": 🤣
Should have designed for 10" standard blade.
3:35 3:40
Wow that miter gauge is atrocious; it looks like something from a super cheap bargain tool, not something from a premium tool company.
Yeah Workbench, I was a bit disappointed with the miter gauge. I'll probably replace it with something better.
renaissanceman dude you really need to get a life, maybe spend some time outside... You know in the fresh air... Smh
Pretty much second worst feature, super cheap miter.
Renaissance Man ok, was just getting a little concerned bout you. Btw just make sure you don't keep that trash can anywhere close to those tools you have, wouldn't want you to have to call the fire department!!
Miter gauge is total crap. How come Rigid can give you a nice one and there cheaper to buy? Can it use dado blades?
Sure can. I believe it's a 6" dado stack. Honestly, even the ridgid miter gauges are crap. Haven't had one that I liked yet
What about harbor freight tools lol
Can’t assemble the stand properly - directions are crap
I agree. I had a bit of a head scratcher moment as well. I had to use the picture on the side of the box to help
Tool Review Zone that’s exactly how I did it, haha. For those of you also having this problem, they don’t tell you 2 things:

I may need to make a video just to show how to set the stand up. Great tips buddy!
