Rear window hatch won’t open due to button not working. The push button will sometimes come Unclipped not allowing to release the window to access the back.

What was the part called, all the videos just show rear door actuator but that lock piece you fixed mines making a loud noise and I replaced the actuator
I have an '05 Escalade that neither the back glass nor the liftgate itself will open. It seems you got close on the lock mechanism for the actual liftgate but not completely there. Do you perchance have additional video that might show the liftgate mechanism that can be pushed, pulled, tugged out of lock?

Sorry I don’t have one for the actual gate I changed the title to reflect the glass portion.
two different problems. If the liftgate wont open as well,
it is likely the actuator that needs to be replaced, also pretty easy and a 20 dollar part

How did you get the door open? You skipped over that part and I have the same exact issue.
I had to take the back panel off the gate and then manually pushed the latch

I’d check the connector on the actuator making sure it’s plugged in all the way but most likely you’ll need to replace it
