Hearing this the first time in her debut was stunning. Never been speechless before watching a vtuber debut stream. Her voice is unbelievable
In ID gen i could say risu has this kind of high note voice, in jp i belive it's suisei, and in EN now we have her.
the only other time i've been this dumfounded during a debut with singing was gura with ride on time.

I've been listening to her singing for a long time already so I was glad she could join. I found her shortly after Amalee because they did similar things (Although Nerissa didn't make her own lyrics at first). Now that's she's here we get to hear much more of her. If you ever get time I would listen to her old songs as well. Not to mention she pumped out two original songs before her debut stream lol.
Now she just released God-ish Cover and while not translated it's still amazing. I feel like its on par with Laplus cover of the song.
same here, listen to her for a few years and have alot of her stuff in my playlist. was super happy when i first heard this because I recognized who it was just based on the way the song was translated and the voice. Im glad shes getting to do it professionally this way, it should me we get much much more of it!

i can say easily (my own opinion) that she is 3rd or 4th best singer in holo already...the control of her vocals in this was amazing and she has crazy range (this was not even close to her full power) only hindrance she herself said to have is low notes (and it was visible in her karaoke..its not bad but u can hear difference in power of her high notes and low ones)..but besides her singing i just love her personality

When you said that you wanted to hear her sing opera, I thought of Ironmouse and what it would be like if they sang a cover of an opera song. If that happens, I'll be excited.

Man Hololive really been gathering absolute gems as their roster. Really wanna see her singing with Sora with some opera like song. They’d pull off one hell of insane combo.
Nerissa really killed it with this cover, and she even wrote her on translations too, i also recommend listening to Izuru's aishite cover too, it was pretty insane
her english version of the song is (imho) better than the other english version. The lyrics are different compared to the JP version but the message is the same. The other EN covers just translated the japanese song and it sounds kinda weird/corny compared to nerissa's version. Again, this is just my opinion.
shes always done an amazing job at doing localization of songs rather then direct translations. for music this just simply works better as the original lyrics when direct translated are not meant to fit in the confines of the song. Some of her other work is some of the best english versions of songs Ive heard and im just glad it seems we will be getting way more of it!

Kinda sucks for that one guy talking about the choir stuff Nerissa brought up in a stream and some people thought that person was talking about PL stuff, one of them even saying don't talk about stuff her as Nerissa hasn't brought up. Poor dude.
there are so many people running around trying to score 'cool internet points' by exposing new talents that a lot of people who are trying to be respectful try to avoid it. i understand that the information is probably out there if you're willing to dig for it but i don't want to and don't care. i can see how someone could accidentally get caught in the crossfire with something that sounds like doxxing but isn't
ye..and u can see it made weird vibe with chat and luke..i try to ignore situations like that..and focus on reaction or anything else that is not that convo in chat xD

Luckily, most people that know just give a wink to others that know and leave it at that. It's all about their new personas and hopefully that stuff will die off quite a bit.
