your LinkedIn Learning courses helped me a lot to start using Rhino instead of 3Ds Max after more than 14 years with that so I am definitely excited to see where this channel will go.. subscribed.
@@Vanastarr That is correct, but the method I showed works in more varied and complicated situations. I decided to skip easier examples to cover a more useful strategy. Thanks for the comment.
I just posted a new Sub-D video which covers that exact topic. See 'Build a Sub-D Mug in Rhino, Using Curves and Prof. Dave Magic' at th-cam.com/video/aX6WHJLUZfM/w-d-xo.html Of course, NURBS are my go-to for hard surfaces. I usually rely on the Sub-D's for organic surfaces. Then again, either type can be 'hard' depending on the manufacturing. 😊👍
hello, i asked in linkedin but did not receive an answer so i ask again here at 0:53 you have a rectangle highlight after you hover, is that edited after recordings? after that you fly around the scene, i tried rhino's walkabout command and was not very similar, and i also tried fly for rhino but also did not work. so i want to know how you do that motion with the camera.
Great questions and super sorry for the delay. 1. The rectangular highlight was created in editing. (I use Premiere Pro.) 2. The amazing navigation is thanks to the Space Navigator by 3D Connexion / Logitech. See www.amazon.com/3Dconnexion-3DX-700059-Spacemouse-Compact-Mouse/dp/B079V4PXYD
Very clear and helpful. Thank you.
Glad you like it! Thanks for the comment.

Great to hear! Thanks for stopping by. This channel will be the headquarters for a series of new courses that will be released this year.
Your video is really awesome
Thank you! I'm trying to make technical material more easy to understand AND fun to learn.
Using fill with the single face option would have been way faster.

Great stuff - can you do a video on SUBD topology eg - product design / hard surfacing in subd
