The final mission in MW3 is hella memorable. Taking out a hundred enemies with an LMG wearing a juggernaut suit, and then murdering the main villain through the only satisfying quicktime event in history.

Your note about the first 3 call of duties falling into a trap where it is just WW2 is because that is what it is designed to be. The originals were made as a tribute to veterans and a campaign-first mindset. It is strange how much has changed for better or worse

Dude yeah. I am trying to beat it on specialist. I’ve played it 3 times. Also the score is amazing and I thought the story was amazing. What’s he on?
I just beat it last year and I loved it. Tbh, I felt like he rushed through a lot of games and didn’t really go in-depth with some of them like yeah it’s a hassle considering there’s so many but still there’s things to talk about and get your point across more.
Yeah, the game explained the character's motivations pretty clearly.

How is ghosts higher than so many of those cods ghosts villain is well a brainwashed and he’s not even South American... we barely know the characters and everytime they suffer an injury they act like wolverine and somehow they act like everything has healed in seconds.especially Logan and Merrick... breaking ribs, stabbed, shot but instantly able to get up run n shoot. Ruins the immersion

@@electrictrip497 those times where you are shot hundeds of times are while you’re just playing the game. brandon ho is talking about in a cutscene where if you get shot or stabbed that usually has massive consequences for the rest of the mission (zussman on dday, soap at the end of mw2 etc)
except in ghosts for example you get shot point blank while being held hostage by the bad guy, which should make you at least limp for the rest of the mission but nope. you get up and kill hundreds of people no problem

i think he’s talking about the mission in the perspective of gameplay. Those missions are memorable only for those deads. Although the last mission is really cool (the one where you get on Juggernaut suits)

17:35 the future missions do matter…a lot of stuff in the future still matters like getting karma and discovering about the super weapon. And putting all the pieces together to understand and comprehend what’s going on, the reason why David is talking to woods in the first place is to get info and understand how Mendez works and thinks, if you did cut out the future there is no reason why to celibate the capture or death of Mendez. We get to learn about David and his homie Harper. The future is needed. If we didn’t have it and only had the ending it wouldn’t add up or make sense, it wouldn’t bring us into the game and make us feel how David feels

Gonna be honest, WaW has a great story, not based on characters, they are vessels to show tides turning, taking revenge, how Reznov gets more and more bloodthirsty throughout. Yeah the American campaign can be said to be another war story

reznov's hook was created in black ops 1. so WaW's story perspective gets dimmed without BO.

@@hiphip4808 He's really good in BO1 but he's just as awesome as WaW and it adds some backstory to Reznov but most of the added story from WaW is for Dimitri (the guy you play in WaW on the Russian side)

Iw is actually very good. The characters are likeable and sometimes even funny. You play as an officer instead of your typical Sergeant or Private First Class. The story follows how much Reyes cares about his men and his motivation to get his men home alive. While some other people would sacrifice their men to finish the mission. And the more his squad dies, the higher Reyes’ motivation as a leader is. As for gameplay, it isn’t just your typical ground missions. You have zero-g missions where you infiltrate a ship without gravity and you have jackal missions where you destroy some SDF assets.
You probably just hate it because it’s unique and hasn’t been done before.
What I miss about the first 6 call of duties or so, is being a lesser soldier part of a giant force. It’s cool not being this super secret special ops dude every once in a while. Like being a marine or army ranger patrolling the Middle East, or storming the beaches in Normandy

In my opinion " down the rabbit's hole " is one of the most memorable campaigns in all of COD history. And one of the best too. The sacrifice of team delta to help russia president. And end the world war 3 for good. For me it's both heartbreaking and memorable.
There are a few memorable missions how about the mission were you play as the russian president bodyguard and you must fight off the bad guys as your plane is crashing that is a mission I will never forget because it had a fun and new factor

As much as I hate to say it, Black Ops 3 campaign was actually okay
The thing with Black Ops 3 is that it’s very complicated and nothing makes sense, but the point is to get people to keep replaying it until they finally figure out what it’s about
It’s a very hard puzzle of putting pieces together for everything to make sense, but I would say it was okay. Obviously not better than the MW Storyline or WAW-BO2, but it’s an interesting campaign

I actually loved Infinite Warfare’s campaign. Definitely one of my favorites, ‘cause it made me do something only one other CoD has managed to, and that is to make me grow tears at the death of the main character. Literally, i almost cried at the end of IW. Such an underrated campaign

SOOOOO underrated i replayed this campaign recently and i was shocked at how well its put together, the deaths of the main characters, how overwhelmed the remaining USFA ships were against the SDF the only mission I didn’t like was the europa war everything else was so well done

Infinity war is awesome I hate world war 1 and the older ones I'm still gonna play on veteran but when I played world at war one on recruit in 2013 and didn't like the look of it and I don't like cods that make unlimited spawns like bo1 does it at times
I disagree with Infinite Warfare. I find it a cool story. Ethan and Reyes are great characters. Reyes is a veteran unlike any characters you play as. And he wants all of his men to come home safe. And the great part about it is that there is no time skip. You are there for everything. The artwork is great, space battle is epic, and the final mission is perfect. It has some wasted potential for gameplay. They should give players options to do a mission loud or stealth. Or you can infiltrate a base on your own. In my opinion, the game is a 8/10.

Yea i disagree too, he did infinite warfare so dirty infact its one of my fav campaigns cuz of how cool some of the missions are and how unique it is, characters coulda had more depth and there shoulda been more selection of missions across the solar system instead of just “lets bored this ship get stuff and go” or “attack skeltor with Jackal” that being said i loved ever mission 8/10

I think it was a tragedy we didn't get more scenes with Reagan in Cold War, the voice actor was phenomenal. I showed the scene to my 93 year old grandmother, she said the guy doing his voice did better than Rich Little.
Infinite Warfare has the best writing in any Call of Duty campaign. And if you want to shit on it before you play it, it's written and acted by the lead writer of the MW 2019 campaign

I freaking dont agree about infinity warfare...that campaign was very touched and very interesting with those missions you had too.i think everyone was different and that made it very interesting with very strong personalities..that campaign maybe hadn't very interesting story about bad guys but is the only call of duty that had this disadvantage to advantage

Personally I loved victor reznov, he was such a badass and his character was so cool! Like “sir, we have no reason to kill them they are already bleeding out” and reznov would be like “Well, maybe our friend here could make them bleed faster”
I really enjoyed ghosts because it was the first call of duty game I ever played. I remember booting my xbox 360e every day to play a gun game with my brother and some veteran-ranked bots. I remember my loadout of SAW in the first slot with a grenade launcher and rapid fire attachments, and a m14 ebr in my second slot with the armor piercing attachment. I remember wearing the full yellow suit with the cool helmet. I remember my brother using the same outfit, but in red. I remember every nook and cranny on every map in the game. I also remember my shit aim (it was on an xbox, don't judge me). I also remember never playing the multiplayer because we didn't know how good xbox live gold was at the time. Good times, but they make me cringe

Black Ops 1 (in my opinion) always will have the best Cod campaign of all time! Such an awesome story and amazing plot twist in this game’s campaign! I freaking love how as get deeper into the campaign everything you know starts to slowly change. And then in the end, everything that you thought you knew, is changed. Which makes an absolutely amazingly plotted story! Making it the best Cod campaign in the franchise!
Love your explanation and I agree and just one thing you didn’t mention, the characters. I’d love to say that black ops 1 has the best main characters out of all the COD games. You just feel excited fighting along Frank Woods, Hudson, Weaver, Joseph Bowman and Victor Reznov. (And Bowman is voiced by Ice Cube which is a huge + and it has some huge historic events such as Kowloon walled city, Vietanm, Vorkuta labour camp, Bay of Pigs etc.). The story has a lot of fun and memeroable missions aswell like flying a hind and causing aboslute havoc in vietnam too using a huey when attacking the rusalka or flying in the blackbird.

Black Ops 1 had a good campaign storyline but in terms of campaign missions, cod 4 is untouched and supreme. You get All Ghillied Up and there is so much stealth in the SAS missions as soap, which gets perfect balance from playing as Jackson and fighting in the open.
Cod 4 campaign is the pinnacle of any cod campaign ever made
@@jheartnote1401 people give that game too much credit, yeah the missions are memorable, but not as memorable as shooting a rocket out of the sky, or breaking out of a prison causing a riot, or even the multiple pov’s on the rebirth island mission, every single mission hit, only bad thing about bo1 is the villain
Bo1's storyline is phenomenal. I mean the whole deal with the story being flashbacks from Mason, and the whole story being left wondering what the numbers are. Once we finally figure out what the numbers are it opens a whole world of conspiracy, as well as the brainwashing that Mason never fully beat from Dragovich, Kravchenko and Steiner, as well as the sabotage from Reznov, just pull it together for a 10/10 Campaign for me
from me bo2 just slightly ahead of bo1. i dont know why but bo2 always hits me hard than bo1. probably its because of masons death scene and the multiple ending hook. Its like 9.9999999 for bo2 and 9.9999998 for bo1

Just finished playing Cold war campaign, first time I've been blow away by a cod campaign since black ops 2. I loved the history, gameplay and the branching stories. One of the most shocking moments of any call of duty game for me now is when I decided to turn on the Americans and was headshotting Woods and Mason, couldn't believe it haha
For world at war, I remember the main characters name was Dimitri on the russian campaign but I don’t think I knew that until playing black ops 1 and finding out that Rezanov had to watch Dimitri die from nova gas. I might’ve knew it before but honestly I think black ops was the one that made me remember.

I agreed more or less with you except for MW3. It's the ending of the modern warfare series. and soaps death, sandman, and Yuri's sacrifice and killing of Makarov with satisfaction make this game a heartfelt standout.

World at War 6/10 is insane that’s literally the best campaign in the series

I disagree that mw3 doesn’t have memorable missions. Fighting in the streets of New York, in an America town with burger town and on the lawn of the White House were some of the coolest missions in my opinion

Ik you won’t read this but at some point in the game (BOCW) you can ask Adler where he got his scars. I don’t remember when but it’s at the CIA safe house and then he’s just sitting in the left of the board and you can start to talk to him and after a while it will give you an option to say “I have to ask, where did you get those scars?” And then he will some something like “I tried saving the girl in Vietnam from an explosive. She wasn’t worth it.” Now I know you won’t see this but hopefully other people will and what he answered was from memory. I don’t know exactly what he said.
