I’ve never used Pixelmator- I've been asked to do some demos and reviews/tutorials for some cheaper alternative software to Photoshop; Maybe you’ll find one of those more useful. Until then, I’m still working on putting together some video tips & trick videos as well!
Well, Im not much of a photographer so many of the tips you give are super useful and Pixelmator has a lot of similar editing tools to Photoshop so I can use the ideas you teach and just figure out which tool i need!
Hey SilaQtie! Sorry if there was any confusion - •So Curves 3 was just the lifted shadows at 13:00. I when I deleted Curves 1 and remade it, it was just named Curves 3. •As for Curves 2, it was a very simple S-Curve where I pulled up the highlights and pulled down the shadows for a touch of contrast. I talk about the Curves tool a bit more in this video, Mastering Curves: th-cam.com/video/McJ9Tnu2OAc/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps! JT
Run N Gun No worries thanks for taking time to reply, I've figured some changes on my own, look neat and helped me a lot, since I was looking to make some moody edits. Thanks again
This is a super helpful tutorial... If only I had Photoshop instead of Pixelmator!

Giving me Bob Ross vibes.. nice tutorial!
Thank you Marilyne, that's the 3rd time I've been told I remind someone of Bob Ross. I'm definitely taking that as a compliment!
red in the shadows is key here yall!
It definitely can help out with the contrast!
You should zoom in more for the tutorial. A little hard to see the details. Thanks for the instruction
Thanks for your thoughts Joachim. I quit doing that after some people had complained but I’ll look into doing it again in the future. 👍🏻
