Thank you Jesus for another fine tutorial. For your next video, see if you think Jason Ulsrud's (photillustrator on Instagram) way of shaping light on old cars is of interest. He shows both before and after, which is pretty cool!
This was a very helpful tutorial of the Camera Raw filter. There were many options that I have not yet used or understood how to use. I can't wait to use what I have learned on my own photos!
I loved this. As usual you make things easy to understand. How come you are working in Camera Raw as opposed to Photoshop or Lightroom? Just wondering...
Awesome tutorial! I have one question: What is the difference between changing the colours in the Calibration page vs. the HSL page? Why would you use one over the other, they seem to accomplish the same thing to me! Thanks!
all colours are made up of red green and blue so changing the green in the calibration tool adjusts the overall green tone. in the HSL the green is more fine tuned, notice how there's 8 colours that the HSL tab allows change compared to only the 3 main colours in the calibration tab. In short. HSL is a more fine tuned colour change and calibration is an adjustment of the overall green tones.
2 suggestions: The movie poster from 80's French film 'Betty Blue' - beautiful colour blending and layers /levels/curves matching I think ... OR ... The Hobbit - Desolation of Smaug DVD cover - colour, smokey lighting FX , text and fragmentation too. May be too big an ask in the time available? Just my thoughts ...
Thanks for the tutorial. Greens can be a nightmare for me sometimes. Based on this tutorial it looks like I can do everything here in Lightroom as well. Is there any benefit for editing in Photoshop over LR?
Thank you so much for the guide. Jesus You are a wonderful person. You have to remember many actions and directions. But it is the general intention to get acquainted with the Camera Row filter
Hi guys, in need of help here.... How do I sort of "blend" two images together so they look natural and not having one on top of each other, I have a pic of soldiers on some land but the look above the image rather than you know, in it...?? (Using Photopea btw).
What should my next "Copycat Wednesday" be? 🤔
