Hello ! I just wanted to say my personal testimony ! you’ve literally helped me on my interviews skills from 2021 until now I use all your tips for interviews and I always land the job !! Glad I love stumbled upon your videos Thanks again!
I personally resigned from 5 different Multinational organizations, and for each of them I have a detailed story (based on true facts) that can credibly explain 2 ponts: - each time I left the place because I was offered a clearly better growth opportunity elsewhere - I always left in good terms, the old employers were sad to see me leave and would take me back any time This served me very well in many interviews
I did not prep for the interview, and when I was asked this question I said, "I left because they started only giving us four days off in a calendar month." Then I said, "But I really liked the job and that I left on good terms." They seemed to understand, and when it was over the hiring manager had a quick private word with the HR manager. After that they both shook my hand and sent me to the clinic for a drug and Covid screen which I passed. So my question is, would my answer here be cause for concern?
How do you frame leaving a company because you didn't get a promotion you wanted, and convince new employers that you are the right person for the role even though your previous company passed on you? (They hired an external candidate. You served as the interim during the job search).
I would frame it by saying that your previous employment was planned from the start to last only a definite period, and that you still wanted to do it mainly to gather experience in an area of your interest, while you were looking for a more permanent arrangement in a company that fully meets your taste
I was there for 10 years. When my boss left last November, I did his job and mine for 6 months often putting in 90 hours to get everything done. In the end, they picked an external candidate for the higher position instead of me. There was other drama, too, so I left.
18 years at a hospital patient accounts horrible pay after 18 years bs management and supervisors that as 8 years ago so careless now have super fun jobs 2

If we have been out of job for more than a year (laid off) how do we answer questions regarding that
I want to know that too...
Same since January 2023.
Ok now you draw. Why did your last employee leave?
🤣
That’s a good one

A few that my family and I could use.
#1 Mooving
#2 Left work to take care of family. Stayed out due to recovering from loss and bad economy.

i would simply say you left because you didn’t see any development opportunities, and that you’d like to grow within your career!
Should you bring up being fired or only answer it asked directly?
