@@alexanderjackson9239 I wished they added more decorations (like bringing back the ball in the center court that was removed in MK7, adding some flowers and other tropical plants to make it prettier and tropical, etc.), moving cars again, anti-gravity on the stairs/ramp sections, etc. But I personally don’t hate the remake, and I don’t think it deserves a lot of hate. Nintendo probably wanted to modernize it to match the decor of malls today, which is why it looks a bit bland looking, since most malls today look bland looking due to today’s design trend.

The stores would open their gates at the elevator ding and after the one second of the drums playing, the customers barged into the stores, there would be all sorts of Miis, koopas, piantas, etc. you would have to avoid running through the mall and in and out of stores as well as pianta security guards chasing shoplifters through the mall, and it would all be a hilarious tribute to the Black Friday madness and Coconut Mall memes.
